I ordered from this restaurant via Grubhub because my normal go to was closed on Sundays. The menu was extensive and had plenty to choose from. Delivery to speedy, but for some reason, the food was lukewarm and was a little on the bland side. We also asked for no cheese/dairy on one of the burritos and it came smothered with cheese and sour cream. The guacamole also had cheese on it, but it did not specify that on the menu. read more

I ordered 9 steak tacos and the steak had no flavor. It's probably not even marinated or anything. The corn tortilla tasted like the cheapest kind of tortilla you can get. I ordered from Los Tacos through GrubHub, very speedy delivery! I first I thought I had found a new favorite spot, and everything tasted authentic to me, but it wasn't a family hit. The queso fundido isn't a nice creamy dip with chips that we're used to, it was a hard glob of cheese that needed to be cut with a knife to be eaten with soft tortillas. Kids wouldn't even try the tacos and usually they love tacos! Ordered this for the first time while in philly at a friends house. I can't give it five stars because the food was just okay. The steak was kind of rough on the tacos but I did like the chicken tacos. I also ordered sides of sour but they never came. I ordered guac which was good but covered in pineapples, I've never seen guac like that. The chicken quesadilla was also not cut and very dry. The biggest issue was we paid 80$ for food and did a 10$ for delivery and the food was suppose to be there in 30 minutes but it took like an 1:15 minutes plus the delivery driver got lost and went to the wrong address. Since my last experience at this place, I still haven't set foot in this place. Here's my review from 2 mo ago on google... -This place was my favorite until now. I ordered 2 tacos with just onion and cilantro, when the waitress brought me my food, it had lettuce tomato cheese and cream (all of which I did not want!) she took it back to the cook and the three of them huddled around my plate in a way that made me suspicious. I brushed off my suspicion because I wasn't that "difficult " customer that was rude about it...she knew there was a mistake and said she'd make it right. After they made my order again, they clearly did something to my food and were all looking at me anxiously waiting to watch me take a bite. I'm only upset that I am just finding this North Philly gem now. My husband found this place on uber eats. We've ordered several times and have never been disappointed. Today we finally went to Los Tacos instead of ordering and it was so worth it. He ordered Tacos de la Hambre and I had Fish Tacos, both fresh and amazing. I love the queso blanco crumbles in the guacamole. The employees are Spanish speaking and our Spanish is quite broken but we didn't have any issues. Right outside the front door, a man asked us for change. We said we didn't have any and walked inside. The man actually followed us in and walked up on us. You could clearly tell we weren't together and not a single employee asked what was going on. I find it hard to believe this is the first time they have seen this man asking their customers for money. That didn't sit well with me. It was 8:30pm on a Friday evening. Nobody greeted us inside the restaurant, nobody seated us. So we sat down at a table. There was only a couple of customers at 1 table so I don't understand the lack of hospitality. After a couple of minutes a waiter came to us and he gave us chips and salsa and a menu. He told us we had to order by 8:40pm because they were closing. At this point, we each had eaten 1 stale chip. It seriously tasted like it had been sitting out all day (or for days). We decided not to eat there. The entire vibe wasn't good and we went elsewhere that had better service. All good things must come to a end! We visited on August 9, 2016 and after coming here for years, I'm sad to say due to All new staff and a change in the menu...we will Not be coming back! The food was Horrible! The steak before was So good you could cut it with a butter knife! Now...you have to chew like a cow just to swallow! You use to get great portions with the steak platter. Now they've add a salad with One sad looking tomato which cut down on the rice/beans and steak portion. BTW no salad dressing for the salad. And you Only get just 2 soft tortilla shells instead of a basket of at least 5 warm ones. Even my children were disappointed! Only thing that was still the same and ok was the can of Coca-Cola. This place is wonderful! Amazing tacos, the most authentic I've had in this city. Definitely pricey (tacos usually run you about $3 each), but they're big! The tacos were made fresh and stuffed with shredded chicken, marinated beef and tender pork with all of the fixin's. Top quality and full of authentic Mexican flavors. I was completely satisfied with the outstanding value and quantity! The staff were very friendly and offered great service to each of their customers! A good 5th street staple. I've had their bistec platter and chicken tacos. Both were excellent, and they actually give you Romaine, not bloody Iceberg lettuce, in your side salad. The only downside is that they don't take credit, but this is the hood and my people don't have credit. read more
