EVERYONE NEEDS TO TRY THIS SPOT! DIOS MÍO! Shoutout to the people who runs this place!…read moreI'm from DTLA and have been on the hunt for legit tacos all around Pasadena since moving here and finally, I found the one! I'd tried all the usual "best taco" spots, but BEHOLD... this hidden gem sets up right in front of 7/11. I've driven past it so many times while picking up my kids from school, and I'm SO glad the fam and I finally stopped by. Got a burrito (carne asada & al pastor mixto) 10/10, no question. A carne asada only burrito, also 10/10. 8 tacos (4 tripas, 4 al pastor) 10/10 across the board! The flavors were on point, every meat perfectly charred, and I swear I'm not exaggerating toda la comida estaba RIQUÍSIMO! This is officially my go-to spot from now on. Service was A1! Ambience was chill and calm!

We're from San Diego and are able to cross the border within 10 minutes to get TJ tacos, so I am very picky when it comes to Mexican food. We were visiting and yelped a food place that opens late and this business popped up. I'm very glad we went! The Al pastor tacos here are marinated very well and come with a lot of meat! I finished all of my tacos and still had plenty of meat leftover on my plate to pick at. The tacos come bare and they have a table set up with different fixings for your tacos. The only negative I have about this business is they don't use real guacamole, it's an avocado salsa. Only 1 table and a few chairs, so we ate on top of the hood of our car. We really enjoyed our experience and if they used real guacamole, I would've given 5 stars.

Dip your tacos into it and then throw some corn from the salsa and toppings bar into it after to finish up as a soup if you have any left over! The red and green salsas are both great and love the pickled red onions. It's in a permanent spot, but it's technically an outdoor truck/stand kind of setup. There are a few tables and benches set up if you want to eat there, and the food will come out on metal trays. Just note it's all outdoor seating. Otherwise you can also request your food to go and it'll get packed up for you. Went on a Tuesday evening and there was only a few other people there, one group dining there and most others getting it to go. If you eat there, I recommend bringing your own pack of wet wipes for your hands! Birria tacos get particularly messy! Otherwise there's just napkins and hand sanitizer for guests. No customer bathrooms available from what I can tell. Parking was pretty easy. There's a small dirt lot you can pull into. Otherwise street parking in front or on the side streets as well. Highly recommend this spot!

I thought there would be long lines and long waits but each stand was spaciously spaced and if you didn't want something from a certain stand there was room to drive along to the next stand. Foods were packaged to go. I wanted to try the fried oreos. Drove up, told them what I wanted, was able to pay by credit card and was quickly given my food. Food prices are a bit pricey but comparable to prices at the fair.

Also, we couldn't find any trash cans, so we took our trash home. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE TRASH ON FLOOR! An excellent experience to bring the kids!
