I would give them zero stars because they over charge you for items that they did not give you. They don't tell you info about what comes with your al la carte (like choose 1 meat for all 3 tacos) so you end up paying way more than you expected. We have had this happen to us one too many times. The so called manager Tam is a liar and she will try to threaten you by saying they have cameras. So we went to see the so called "cameras" and guess what Tam lied and she did not give us items that she charged us for. Our bill was supposed to be $45 and she charged us $65. Refund my money!!!! Quick service and good reliable food. The chicken rolls are a must! They're very tasty. I love the ACP but please be aware if you choose veggies then it comes with broccoli. If you are Mexicano, don't bother because apparently they will ignore you at the bar on Cinco de Mayo for all the Gringos "with money". I waited 15 minutes at the bar when the bar tender looked at me with disdain and ask me what I wanted. I asked if they had Tamarindo there because I wanted to mix it with a shot of Tequila. But he said that they didn't have Tamarindo and before I could finish, was suddenly all smiles to some skinny blonde white chick and took her order over me.! I talked over her and said "hey, just give me a shot of Tequila" which I had to wait while he filled 4 margaritas for her. I finally got my shot, and his body language between her and me was night and day. Later I came back, waited at the bar for 15 more minutes. This pendejo came up to me, gave me a shot to give to a customer seated behind me. I gladly helped out a fellow hispano and expected him to fill my order when I got back but no, he started working the opposite side of the bar. I waved a woman over and asked for a shot of tequila after she kept avoiding eye contact, she said just a moment and disappeared. A 3rd bar tender asked me to give more drinks to the table behind me and had a friendly smile, so I thought, finally, this one will take my order, but no... He disappeared as well. 15 minutes later, the woman bar tender started taking someone else's order and I started saying "hey! hey!" And she completely ignored me. I was about to grab a waiter to complain but my friend said our table was ready. It was 4 of us, only 3 of us got our food out, Nº drinks not even water, and one guy had no silverware until we complained. We got our drinks after we finished our meals... The message was clear: this is a restaurant for whites and the upper class people of color. If you don't dress like you got money, and worse, if you are a MEXICAN on Cinco de Mayo, the most white washed appropriated Latino holiday... Then you are NOT welcome! Because obviously they don't want unsavory looking gente here scaring off the white customers who pay for this bland white washed food. I had low expectations, so consider this graded on a curve. Needed a quick meal before heading to RDU, and i was expecting mediocre strip mall Tex mex. I know Mexican (even Americanized Mexican) can be very hit or miss in NC. Had the enchiladas suizas and was pleasantly surprised! This was at least above average Tex mex. Sauce had good flavor, guac was decent, portions were huge. Tortilla chips could've been better. Service was very fast and polite. What did I just eat? Seriously, I can't find it! I came here for lunch with a coworker and ordered their "Los Tres Green Burrito". The contents of the burrito were good, when I could find them. Looking back at the meal, if I had ordered the burrito as a plate, my plate would have been mostly empty! "Maybe it was just a one-time mistake? Everybody messes up sometimes!" Sure, but that wouldn't explain my coworker's disappointment when his burrito was even smaller than mine. Would I come back? Sure, if somebody else REALLY wants to go. the food is pretty good. the shock was being charged a 4.99% "online ordering service fee" and a 0.99 takeout fee. I am curious the justification for the takeout fee, but they seem to imply the online ordering works harder with the larger order? I tip 20% on takeout orders. To be fare, the online ticket before you pay does tell you up front. I checked that after I got home and saw the charges. So my bad for not seeing before hand, and I won't ask a refund. But they will no longer be an option for a lazy evening where we don't want to cook, and unlikely in person just out of irritation. Great food, quick service, and plenty of menu items to choose from. Parking is usually fine. When brier creek is busy it can be difficult to find parking, however don't let that deter you from eating here. The food is delicious, the employees are welcoming and friendly, and the portions are large (even the portions of protein are generous). Plus the service is really quick! This is a great place to go if you are in a hurry or if you want to take your time. As soon as we arrived we were seated and welcomed by our waiter. We were then provided with complementary chips and salsa and our drinks. Soon after we put in our order we were given more chips and salsa and then our order. I was in here last night. I went out with my Bestfriend for a drink. It was my first time coming to this place, I was excited. From the beginning, it took our server (Andrew) a while to greet us and he eventually came 10 minutes after we were sat. It was a Sunday, so I figured they would be busy. Throughout our dinner, we were hardly checked up on. We didn't pay any mind.. until I had asked him a question about a margarita. I specifically asked for a spicy mango margarita, there wasn't any prices on their drink menu. I was told it was $16.99 for a large. I went with that one. When my drink came to the table, It was a completely different than what I originally ordered. I had gotten a jalapeño margarita, and it was a pretty big cup. I tasted the margarita and I actually did like it so I kept it. I was more upset when we got the bill. My margarita was $18.99. I couldn't ask my server about it either, because he never came back after dropping off our checks. I wasn't told it was more than $16.99. My friend asked for a flavored mule & ended up getting up charged for the flavor.. which I didn't know was a thing. Overall, the restaurant is small but cute, and they played good music! Two days ago, I visited Los Tres Magueyes at 10410 Montcreiffe Rd #109, Raleigh NC (Brier Creek). My friend and I decided to get some chips and dip and settle down for a comfortable late lunch. When we arrived, we were seated by a male wait staff named Mark (75). After 5 minutes, he came back to the table to ask if we were ready to order. I ordered 1 cheese dip and 1 order of fish tacos and 2 sodas. My friend could not make up her mind for her meal and told the waiter such and instead of offering a suggestion he stated, "I don't have time to wait all day" and stormed off. We should have left after that, but we were in such disbelief that we remained. My friend refused to order after that, and we waited approximately 30 minutes for the fish taco and cheese. When the food arrived, I was not impressed and the large chunks of guacamole made me almost want to regurgitate, the fish was dry and had no flavor. I only took 2 bites out of 1 of the 3 tacos and that was enough for me. I never got to express my dislike for the food to the waiter, as he never returned to the table, not to offer a refill of sodas, to refill the chips or to ask if everything was "ok". The restaurant was not crowded and there was no excuse for being ignored other than just wanting to. After being ignored for almost another 20 minutes, I was able to hunt Mark (75) down and pay the bill. I have never received services and not tipped in my life but in this case, I felt it was warranted. As we were leaving the restaurant, and still in the main dining area, Mark yelled at us in front of everyone, "Thanks for the tip, ladies." I responded, "your welcome" and he yelled you didn't give me a tip and I stated "exactly." The poor-quality food coupled with bad customer care is not tolerable for any customer. I attempted to contact the manager that day, only for the telephone to ring and ring. I tried several times and the last time it was Mark (75) who answered the phone, laughing and talking to other staff before even addressing me on the telephone. I hung up and tried to call the restaurant on 5/27/2023 and asked to speak to a manager. The lady on the phone asked "why" I stated I had a complaint and she told me I could talk to her. I asked her if she was a manager and she stated "Yes" and I asked for her name and she kept saying "ugh, ugh, ugh" and then stated her name was "Sam". I told her I would contact the corporate office as I did not have time to play games. I'm here now and won't be back. It's a random Tuesday and I came alone well before dinner so it's far from busy. I was greeted by Mario, who also doubled as my server, of sorts. I opted for a table, got the menu and ordered immediately. I only ordered beef nachos because I figured it would be difficult to mess up with the few number of ingredients. I was wrong. When they came, all I could see was a mountain of shredded lettuce, a large tablespoon of sour cream and one slice of a tomato. Once I pushed away the layers of lettuce, I saw the tortilla chips were, sparingly, doused with refried beans and had MAYBE a tablespoon of beef. The cheese "sauce" was also gross. It tasted like what I imagine paste tastes like. Again, it's super empty with only 3 other tables in the entire restaurant having guests AND there are 2 other servers. Well mine came back much later and walked by giving me the thumbs up as if to ask, instead of actually asking, if everything was ok. I mentioned that it wasn't ok and showed the minimal amount of meat and he returned in 1 min with a bowl of tasteless & greasy beef. Great vibes, really nice staff. Just what you'd expect from a locally owned Mexican restaurant. Large, tasty margaritas, HUGE food menu comprised exclusively of Mexican dishes. Really good empanadas and tortilla soup. Not sure what they do to their refried beans but I found them to be especially tasty. The atmosphere/decor is casual - but fun. It was a bit too cold for the patio but they do have one and it would be a cool spot because it's right on one of the approach/departure paths for KRDU. (Actually I guess if you don't love airplanes/hate noise it could be the opposite of cool... but I'll leave that up to you). I was here alone on a business trip and decided to give it a try, I'm happy I did. Server was very nice and welcoming - explained the menu and made recommendations. Classic Mexican hospitality. One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. When I lived in Brier Creek, my wife and I would eat here all the time. As my wife and I have lived in Mexico and appreciate the flavors, we are very picky when it comes to Mexican food. Los Tres has the flavors we are looking for. The micheladas are excellent. They come in a big glass, and are almost as good as the micheladas we've drank in Mexico. We rarely order anything other than tacos. The carne asada and carnitas tacos are our favorites, and they comes with large portions of rice and beans. I wish I knew how to quit you! Okay okay, I came back here ONLY because a coworker was DESPERATELY craving Spanish food. After the challenge of finding available parking, a small group of us ventured over and into the building. We were greeted by a super-friendly, enthusiastic manager who led us out to the patio -- so that was a good start. However, after our chips and salsa were dropped on our table, service quickly declined. Looking back, I should've screamed "Nooooooooooooo" as the manager was sucked back into the interior of the restaurant -- since that was the height of enthusiasm during our brief, food-oriented visit. Unfortunately, we were met by our "real" server, who quite apathetically took our drink and food orders. There was no brightness in his eyes or excitement as he proclaimed the "specials" of the day -- because, quite frankly, they do not exist here. In fact, after I told the waiter what I wanted to order, he did not make any comment or acknowledge that he received my order accurately -- he simply scribbled down something, and then stared at my friend until she looked up and abruptly realized she was next. Creepy. The food took about 15 minutes to return to us, which was decent. I ordered the "Sincronizada" since I was excited to try something new. Big mistake. I was served two, slightly warm and barely crisp tortillas with a LITTLE bit of melted, white cheese inside with tidbits of chicken and diced onion. So much for a "stuffed" tortilla sandwich -- a quesadilla has about 4 TIMES as much chicken and cheese inside of it. On top were six, scattered jalapeño slices with 4 disgustingly-sliced avocado slivers -- which were SUPPOSED to be inside the tortilla sandwich. The red rice on the side was barely warm as well. There is no "heart" put into the food here, and the visual presentation as well as the taste is severely lacking. No spice, no heat, no pizzazz. Also, my iced, unsweetened tea (which they don't offer refills for and the waiter didn't mention) cost me over $2 -- about half the price of my lunch entrée (which was $6).
