first time coming here. we ordered an arepa (which was an appetizer but actually came last), the choriperro, maicitos con todo, and a toston relleno with chicharron. the food was pretty good. not bad, not mind blowing, but decent. the prices were super reasonable. service is EXTREMELY slow. it was almost empty and it took forever to get our food. it does warn you of that on the menu though, in their defense. read more

I find these hotdogs are gross. A hotdog needs ketchup and mustard maybe 1 or 2 toppings. These things have 12 sauces and a bunch of weird toppings. If your into overkill on flavors you might like this place if you just want a real hotdog i dont think this is the place for you. read more

We went on Sunday and maybe its a day when they have their B team running it but we were disappointed for several reasons. Its a shame because the previous time I went it was fine. First a large group came in after we did but the waitress took their order first. We had to wait over thirty minutes for our food. Our server was taking orders all over the restaurant slowing things down further. Second the kids meals were a disappointment. The burger and hot dog were TINY. I have never ever seen such small portions! A nine year old could eat the hot dog in One Bite. Its a cocktail weenie. The burger is two bites. That's it. Its crazy because the adult burgers are quite large. You could make four kids meal burgers or four kids hot dogs out of an adult portion. The burgers and sandwiches for adults were tasty. I asked for my burger medium but it was well done. At that point though i just wanted to eat and leave. This rating is for this experience. If i go back then ill update it accordingly. read more

I'm giving this place 4 stars only because it's the only place you can get a hot meal after 11 on a weekday besides Denny's in the area. The food is above average but at the end of the days it's glorified hot dog and burgers. The steak is always good but steak should come with something other than French fries. Maybe it's s Colombian thing. I'm not big on quail eggs so that threw me when I saw it. So like I said, if you want a hot meal after 11 on a weekday try it out. This has been the smartest idea yet. They opened up Los verdes here recently. I would have to drive to coral way to get some delicious Colombian fast food. I had a Hawaiian burger and the quesadilla from there with everything on it. It was so delicious!! I can't wait to go back. read more

Awesome late night munchies. They have several different options, most reminded me of comfort food. Highly recommend the Myacitas. We also had the hot dog appetizer, it was decent but not amazing. I didn't like that you couldn't choose which toppings you wanted on the appetizer.... you get 3 small hotdogs, but there are 6 different styles and we didn't get to choose which ones we got. read more

Stingy with the sauce! I've been eating maicitos since I discovered los verdes on 137th ave and coral way. My experience there was great. They're absolutely delicious and what makes them even better is the pink sauce you pour on top of them. At the location I first ate them at they allow you to use as much pink sauce as your heart desires. It's great! Then I find out they're opening a los verdes by my house and I'm excited to hear this since the original location I ate them at was a farther drive for me. Same great maicitos but closer to my house - winning! The bad one at this place is how stingy they are with the pink sauce. The lady's like it's $ .15 for sauce. Really!? You gotta charge for extra sauce. It's not the cost it's the principal. I'd rather go to the other location than to be restricted to one pack of pink sauce. read more

The food is amazing. The delivery is amazing. The service, in the physical location- not so much. The woman charged my card twice, messed up a split check, and then gave me attitude as if it was my fault. It also took twenty minutes to find a table, which I honestly didn't mind, but then it took thirty five minutes for our food to come out, and the servers weren't refilling our drinks. I'm not sure if this place is under new management or if we've just gone on their off days, but our last few visits have been unsatisfying to say the least. Every time we go we get an order of salchipapa, and it usually feeds two or three. This is the one item on the menu that we noticed has gone through the most change. It started off with french fries that tasted fresh and of better quality. Today our serving was significantly smaller and the fries looked like they had been taken out of the Publix frozen food section and heated up in the microwave. The item on the menu is still same price which is ridiculous for such a small serving and cheap fries. They have increased staff so it may be a money issue? But after todays experience we definitely will not be going back as often as we use to. read more

Always love coming to Los Verdes. Their quesadillas and sauces are absolutely amazing. I would normally have given 5 stars but today the service was below their standard. Was of course taken care of but only 4 booths were full when i went so not a lot people and i had to ask after i finished my food for refill of my water. Would normally expect for their quality of service to be waited on and asked every now and then if everything was okay. Nothing horrible or crazy though. Ordered takeout for the Chicken maicitos and to my surprise they were horrible. I haven't ate here in a while but was a pretty loyal customer since they opened. The chicken was plain and slightly over cooked. The corn was not sweet and sort of watery. Almost like they came from a can. It just seemed thrown in there. My son and I just got here to Florida and visiting Kendall so we went out to eat and found this restaurant, called, los Verdes and found out that it's owned by Colombians and the food is very good, is a combination between Colombian, American style! Ordered delivery and order was messed up. Called them back asked for manager. They told me to wait 2 minutes and I stood waiting for 8 minutes, finally the manager answered and said she would call back in 15 minutes...3 hours later she called back (better late then never I guess) and she only cared to give a 10% discount... Should have gone to Taco Bell so I could have gotten a regular fucked up order without an excuse. read more
