Terrible service! Went for happy hour for the first time as an out of towner new to Houston and was ignored for 10 mins until I'm literally begging for service. The bartender was rude AF and even charged happy hour at full price. Had a whole attitude that I wanted the correct pricing and told me that's the price. Offered no water just choking on chicken dry mouth. Chicken wings were phenomenal though 10/10. It was my friend's birthday and we did not enjoy the experience at all. Will be posting the waiter that had an attitude all night and was talking roughly and too long with a coworker... They both didn't care when I wanted to put an order in. No need for management to reply. You're not sorry.
We are in Houston visiting from Nashville TN and were told to try Lost and Found for a good brunch/lunch experience. The atmosphere was very cute and the music was on point. As for the food.... EVERYTHING WE ATE AND DRANK WERE BOMB!!!!! 10/10!!!! We had the Golden Cadillac cocktails. The salmon bites with greens and potatoes (get the lemon aioli for dipping.) Fully loaded Cajun pasta. The sausage and chicken was so flavorful. Please check this place out. No disappointments!
I will start with the positive! the loaded fries with chicken was very flavorful and a shareable size, 3 of us ate from the plate and we had leftovers. We also had the chicken wings in 2 different flavors and the ladies through they were amazing! Our waiter was amazing and very attentive! We did not like the idea that there was a baby no more than 3 years old sitting at the bar with the parents while they were drinking, after 1am, and the father trying to keep her awake and the bartender continued to serve the parents.

We came on Monday for HH around 7:30 pm, we know HH was almost over, we live 5 mins away and wanted a quick bite and drink. The valet charges $20 or $40 on a week day and its not even that busy. We walked in and nobody was at the front so we asked the first person we saw " do we sit ourselves" , and she said just wait by the entry door and the host will seat you. Well the host came and said "go to the front & I can help you there". Cool. We get seated and given a menu. The menu was dirty, sticky, and over all filthy. We moved inside to the bar and asked a waitress "can you let the bartender know we are here, we think she went to the back for something". The waitress looked at us and said " oh, she know y'all here. She gone come". Instead of letting her know we moved to the bar. Anywho, Bunny took great care us. She literally made our experience go from 1 to a high 8. Ask for Bunnnyyy at the bar!!! Nice music playing. Minus the bugs on the patio (love bug season in tx) and long wait on the patio, the ambiance wouldve been great outside..... Service needs a bit of tweaking, food was good, Bunny was amazing. This was my first food experience in Houston and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing...the grits and that fried chicken . One downside" - you had to pay for parking and it was $20
First time checking out Lost and Found in the 4th Ward, and let me just say... I get it now. When you see a restaurant with a 4.8 rating and almost 16K reviews, you already know it's gonna be something special--and this spot did not disappoint. From the jump, the vibe was right. My bartender, Ace, was super friendly, gave me recommendations, and every single one hit. Food came out in under 10 minutes too--like, how?! That's when you know the kitchen is locked in. Highlights: $4 Wing Night - Are you kidding me? Eight wings for four bucks. That's a steal, and they were grilled perfectly. Side Salad - Fresh, crisp, light--like it was just pulled out of the garden. Collard Greens - Straight up reminded me of my mom's, smoked turkey and all. Just needed a splash of hot sauce and it was perfect. Hot Honey Lemon Pepper Chicken - Whew. THIS was the showstopper. That drizzle? Top tier. Sweet, tangy, spicy--basically everything you want in a chicken dish. Between the food, service, and prices, this was one of those meals that sticks with you. Lost and Found is definitely on my "run it back" list.
One of my favorite Houston brunch spots!! I always recommend Lost & Found to my friends from out of town and they always deliver! My favorite dish is their Cajun pasta and this time I paired it with their Golden Cadillac cocktail which is also fire! They have a pretty large patio with plenty of TVs and fans for the summer time, but there is indoor seating as well. Hookah is also available here. Now this is a well known popular spot in Houston, so prepare to wait to be seated, especially if you do not have a reservation (highly recommended you do). Lines can be long and wrapped around the parking lot during peak times. However, once seated, their service is pretty quick for how busy they get. Parking can also be another issue because their small lot is valet only, so if you don't want to valet you will have to find street parking which can be a real task in that area. Otherwise, this place is always a vibe with their music and I always enjoy my brunch here!
First time and definitely not our last time. Once seated and our waiter, Tyson, introduced himself, he made the experience quite welcoming. He seems like he enjoys what he does bcz he was such a pleasure. He could tell it was our first time and was very patient and took time to explain everything on the menu. Tyson's suggestions were spot on for both eats and drinks. He didn't make us feel rushed at any time, and instead made us feel like taking our time was preferred, which helps patrons enjoy every single detail of the work chefs and bartenders put into their crafts. Whenever I return, I'll definitely request Tyson as our waiter.
Came here with my bestie after doing to wedding errands and we're craving soul food! The weather was perfect so we sat outside! We had these mocktails that were yummy! Our waitress was very sweet! Would come back especially because the food was fantastic! Everything was delicious!
Today is Mother's Day. My friend and our husbands chose this restaurant as the celebration location. I had a small clue that the restaurant would not be up to Par after reading some of the recent reviews. The demise started at the valet-only parking lot; charges were double for this day. Secondly, the establishment's doors were so dirty, smeared with what looked like greasy fingerprints. But it's 11 a.m. (opening time), so it leads me to believe cleaning hadn't taken place the night before. We were promptly seated, but this vendor opens at 11 a.m. Our waitress served smiles and great energy to make up for the lack of eggs, bacon, and another item I can't remember. So we placed our order from the remaining items listed on the brunch menu. If I had known of the lack of key brunch items, we could've stopped and picked up some eggs from the local Sam's Club on my way in, and don't forget Houston is famous for H-E-B, and I am certain several cartons of eggs and bacon could have been obtained. As a small business owner myself, I understand the challenges small businesses may encounter; however, this was unacceptable. We proceeded and asked for lemons for the water. We were brought limes and oranges because, of course, the establishment was out of lemons as well. Our entrées were brought out warm. My pancakes were flat as though they were missing a key ingredient, maybe eggs . For the pancakes only at a price point of $19. I was expecting light and fluffy, not flat and dense . Did I mention that, as I was cutting my pancake, the table tilted to the right because it was unstable and uneven ? Thankfully, our husbands use their feet to stabilize the table so we ladies can celebrate eating our underwhelming brunch without the table flipping over. This entire experience led me to set aside a portion of my Mother's Day celebration to deliver a public service announcement urging people to avoid this restaurant.
The food was good but they need to get their website fix. I ordered a couple things thru their online website and when I got there they didn't have the items because they were out of stock. So I ended up reordering at the place when I got there.
I was craving a nice frozen drink on a hot Saturday in Houston & decided to stop by Lost & Found since it was on my list. The aesthetics throughout the restaurant are really nice & you can get great pictures. There is also a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside since that was all that was available at the time and Aspen took great care of us. She recommended we try the frozen Golden Cadillac Margaritas & they definitely were one of the best frozen drinks I tried. We saw these pineapple upside down shots as well. They had a deal 3 for $11 so why not. Y'all they tasted just like the dessert. My cousin and me weren't hungry so we just listened to the music being played during brunch & caught a vibe off the cocktails & hookah we ordered. Thank you ASPEN for making sure our first experience was great. I will visit you when I return.

Decided to have a lunch date with my friend and loved the energy! We called in same day to set a reservation, since it does get pretty busy. Parking was $10, they take card/Apple Pay. Prices do vary depending on time and day you go. I ordered the Golden Cadillac which was pretty! Not crazy strong but also not weak. Presentation was 5/5. I also ordered something not too crazy since I have a small appetite. I ordered the loaded fries with fried chicken. Definitely something you could share with your table. Our waitress was extremely sweet! Made sure we were well taken care of as well as the other staff. They all seemed to look like they enjoyed their work environment and dressed up for Halloween. Lost & Found exceeded my expectations! My husband and I were looking for a vibe while on a work trip to Houston, and Lost & Found was it! The staff were extremely welcoming from the moment we walked in. The music was upbeat. The energy was high. And then the food came... that shrimp and crawfish dip made me dance! It was amazing! I had the blueberry lemonade, which was really good as well. And the chicken and collards greens were good. The mac and cheese had a slight kick to it that threw me off a bit. But overall, my experience was great. I could picture myself being a frequent customer if I lived in the area. read more

Brunch with some friends. Definitely get there early to be seated. The wait is crazy around 12/1 on the weekends. They do have valet which I recommend otherwise you will be making a trek from somewhere in a distant neighborhood. Cute vibe on the inside. It has a tropical feel to it. The drink I ordered was very cute and strong. One was enough for me. I ordered a seafood omelet which was cool. I got the sauce on the side because I didn't know what It would taste like. The sauce tasted better with the fries than the omelette it was supposed to be on top of. They are missing some real alternative sides like turkey bacon , etc. but you can make do. Overall for a cute brunch with friends, I'd go back but only right when they first open before it gets too packed. read more

Ok Parking-small lot but valet is available. We took a Uber. We came from the airport and they noticed and offered to allow us to store bags at the front desk. Very cool. There is a 15 minute grace period for reservations, after that you're considered walk in. They gave us extra grace because we were traveling and needed to get back to the airport. Plus it was our birthday! When I say the vegetable Cajun pasta was DELICIOUS! My friend had the seafood version and her reviews were 10 out of 10 as well. The sides were disappointing so skip on the collard greens, Mac n cheese, and sweet potatoes. Just go with the garlic mashed potatoes if you want to try a side. We had mimosas. The bottle was priced reasonably at $33 dollars. Service was good. You do have to provide a credit card at the beginning for them to "hold". That tells me they've had one too many people skip out on the check. I'd definitely return. Cute environment for a friends brunch or date. read more

Had a long weekend in Houston and wanted to experience a good brunch so we came here. The best part of the experience was the service. The server was top notch, she gave us the honest opinions of what was good and what wasn't the best option. We started our meal with the mimosas and we got passion fruit and strawberry and we loved the passion fruit. I ordered the chicken and waffles with the hot honey sauce on the side. Both really hit the spot. The music was good and decor was great. Overall it was a good ambiance and I wouldn't mind going back the next time I'm in town! read more

We tried to dine in on Sunday about 2pm and no way Jose! The line was wrapped around the corner in 100 degree weather, NO WAY!!! We left, today we go at 1130, they don't open until 12pm *ROLLS EYES* Then parking is valet only and $10, we parked on the streets for free. We wait until 12 and walk back up and approach the line of waiting cars. Then we get seated inside after 12 *side eye* and it's cool. Friendly servers and staff. We ordered the fried lobster bites, short rib dinner with greens/corn, and the lemon pepper chicken dinner with greens and garlic mash. 2 drinks a piece. Our bill was $170. It's trendy, overrated and over priced. It reminds me of a Pluckers with flowers. Don't get me started on the parking! It's cute for small celebrations or a date. In town for a short period of time and ordered a double bowl of greens and the food was delicious. We had chicken wings the lamb and Mac and cheese and was not disappointed! So glad we came! This dining experience was a whole vibe! read more

I've had Lost and Found on my radar since I began making an itinerary for my trip to Houston. The fried salmon really caught my eyes and creative craft cocktails. The service here is good. Hence the 4 stars of approval. We arrived after 8:00 p.m. and immediately saw a rather long line in the parking lot for dining. There is a nice shaded area for those waiting to be seated. There is indoor and outdoor dining available and Houston's favorite activity, Hookah. We decided to dine indoors to enjoy the aesthetics of the decor and to avoid the hookah smoke and odor. We declined the craft cocktails and ordered dinner plates. My friend had the barbecue grilled salmon plate with collards greens and a corn dish. I had to have the fried salmon, collard greens and macaroni and cheese. My friend also ordered Jalapeño Cornbread. It was ok. It needed more cornbread batter and more of the gritty taste. A little weak. The fried salmon is the best. The crispy batter, moist salmon paired with lemon tarter sauce is out of this world good. The collard greens are spicy. Be very mindful. My friend did not enjoy them. I did however. The Mac & cheese was just ok for me. Too soup like in texture and should have been baked more to be crisp and brown on top. The Cajun flavor was the selling point but resulted in me spending the morning on the toilet. The cocktails here look amazing and I find them affordable. The decor and aesthetics were lacking here for me. Some areas of the restaurant need work and the furniture needs to be reconsidered and replaced. The outdoor treehouse vibes were cute but after awhile it just felt like a backyard porch. I could not dine there with the hookah smoke flying in from the fans. The music was a miss for me. It seemed someone used their Spotify playlist that wasn't cued up or organized. Perhaps I would return for drinks, fried salmon and a live DJ. read more

We were a little skeptical of this place because the line was crazy and we were hungry but when I tell you this line was the quickest I've ever seen. We were outside under the tent for all of twenty minutes or so. We were celebrating a birthday all weekend so we took the first seats available and they were at the bar. The bartender seemed to be a little flustered but it was all good. The bar was pretty busy and we got a lot of drinks lol plus she was taking our food orders as well. Everything kind of appealed to me but I ended up getting the lobster bites and a side of Mac and cheese and BOY - I made the right damn choice!! The Mac and cheese was spicy but taking delicious. I mean DEE LISH US. I'm definitely not mad at that spicy Mac lol. My best friend got the fried salmon sticks and loved them. My husband got the beef, which was tender as hell. He also got an app that kind of filed him up so he took the beef home. We also tasted the frozen drinks they had to offer and the mango was the crowd favorite. We all ended up getting one or two. Even though it had gin in it, i thoroughly enjoyed it!! Super bomb. They have hookah but you have to smoke outside. If you're looking for a good lunch. She even tried to get me a shirt but was told they weren't for sale...this should be revisited lol We were visiting for my sisters 21st birthday and she mad the whole night fantastic. I'm writing this review almost a year later (it completely slipped my mind). It was our first time in Houston and we wanted to go to all the hot spots and that's exactly what we did. Lost and found was first on the list so On October 26, 2021 we came here and everything was good until it was time to pay... we were told that they didn't accept chime cards. After 20 minutes of going back and forth the issue was resolved but still left a bad taste in our mouth... Hopefully chime cards are accepted now with no issues or people are told BEFORE they actually sit and eat. The food, drinks and vibe was actually really good. Spent this last weekend in Houston. I heard so many good things about Los and Found I just had to see for my self. This place was everything!!! I had read that there is always a wait because of the popularity. So I was expecting that. My friend and I stood in line a little under an hour. But once inside we forgot we even waited at all! Our server Maya was the absolute best. She gave us all the good suggestions and was just the sweetest. I encourage you to stop by if you're visiting Houston. You won't be disappointed. I'm already thinking about booking my next trip, just to go back to lost and found. read more

Um yum! My coworker and I decided to give this place a try and I have to say, if I was basing my ratings on just the food alone, I would give this place 5 stars easy. They serve some good authentic soul food and it was amazing. I can't recall the name of what I ordered but it was basically fried chicken, collard greens, cornbread, and I ordered a side of Mac and Cheese. So good. I also had a bottle of water (Fiji) and a drink called Champagne Showers, which I found quite tasty as well. My friend also enjoyed her meal, she ordered the Cajun Pasta. The food was great and the presentation was nice. The service was decent, I've certainly had better. To put things simply the service sufficed enough to meet the basic standard. The waitress was nice enough, but it wasn't a service I would label excellent. She was nice but she wasn't engaging, or energetic, small things that can really take the service to the next level. If I knew how busy this place could get I would have made an reservation. When you wait for an table you have to wait outside in this line. This was kind of crappy as it was raining on and off throughout our wait. I would say we waited outside for about 45 mins, before being seated. This almost deterred my friend and I from waiting it out, but in hindsight I'm glad we did. We had a great time and got to relax a bit and blow off some steam! Note: We did order hookah as well. We got the watermelon mint flavor. It cost $30. I'm not a big hookah smoker so I'm not sure if that's above or below the average price range. Overall, I had a great time. Good was amazing as always ! The crawfish and shrimp dip 100 points , we're going to over time baby!!! The lambs chops were nice and tender! After seeing IG stories about how cool this place is, I finally got to experience it. Did sunday brunch, and when you walk in the place, it is a gorgeous tropical paradise! We had mimosa carafes of all flavors, none disappointed. I finally got some greens on my plate in texas, so that made life better! I had some sweet potato Pancake goodness... did need a little more of what they put on top tho... and some lemon pepper chicken. It was as I expected good. The cherry on top was the waitress Ms Mimi she was super relaxed didn't make us feel rushed, gave us suggestions on items on the menu, and was on point with the service! Lost & Found was one of the top recommendations I received from friends when they found out I was traveling to Houston and after visiting the restaurant two weekends ago, I understand why! Lost and Found was AMAZING!! The vibe, the atmosphere, the food.....SPECTACULAR! The restaurant offers both inside and outside seating. Our party of four opted to eat outside, as we wanted to enjoy a hookah with our meal. There was a bit of a wait, maybe about 30 minutes, but it was well worth it. Like many of the restaurants in Houston, the outside seating was surrounded by heating lamps. So while it was a bit chilly, the lamps provided enough warm to make dining outside comfortable. This was our second meal for the day, so we opted to order from the appetizer menu. We had two orders of of wings, one with the lost and the other with the found sauce, the lobster bites and the shrimp and crawfish dip. The food was amazing! The drinks, the Golden Cadillac and Purple Haze, were also very good and very strong! An all-around dope experience!! read more

The food is super tasty and well seasoned. Waited 45 on line but the waiter made up for the wait with his hospitality. Drinks were ok. But I would definitely come back for that shrimp and crawfish dip, honey lemon pepper fried chicken. I normally don't eat greens but these were amazing, slight kick but Ohh so good. I would have given 5 starts if they provided real utensils or better plastic ones. read more
I'm a bit torn on this one. Staff was great and the food was okay. The line is the worse. It would be great if there was a waitlist online. You pay to park in their lot. $40 for them to park your car in front. $20 for them to park it out back and self parking is $10 but which was conveniently closed when we arrived. We were able to park in the neighborhood. My drink was great! The Golden Cadillac. Erin, you did your thing ma'am! Don't judge me, but I'm not a fan of Tequila unless in a Margarita so I left that out. We both had fried Salmon with the Cajun grits. I had mine with the Corn Maque Choux since I'm not a fan of Collard Greens. That Salmon was fried so thin and crispy. The Cajun Grits was not that great to me. I guess I have to get out my head the creamy grits usually served with shrimp and grits. Definitely want go back to try more things. read more
I would've given this place 4 stars but they absolutely made up the initial questionable customer service from the chics who seat you & our missed reservation of 15 by providing A1 service, food, hookah and drinks after reaching out to one of the owners. All that said..... I would recommend going through the week. I'm not a fan of over crowded spots and they were poppin even on a Thursday. Jordyn was our waitress and she catered to us all ON HER OWN. She was GREAT. You have to try the fried lobster bites, shrimp & crawfish dip and jerk lamb. The greens and mac n cheese . The food isn't cheap but dang worth it. Yes there are plenty options. Even in house lemonade.

I thought I would have needed a reservation on a Thursday but we went about 8pm and did not. It did get significantly busier later, but for dining it seems like you dont really need a reservation.

Saturdays tend to be one of their busy days, I highly recommend a reservation (call the restaurant), I went with a party of 2 and waited nearly 2 hours. Good luck

No ma'am. They're also overpriced and the quality of food isn't that good.
Is it kid friendly?
Based on my last visit, YES (7/25/21). I went on a Sunday for brunch and saw children dining in the establishment. Safe to say during the day, kids are allowed. Keep in mind- hookah is still being smoked while they're around.
