Staff; food; ambience.... 10s across the board! We made reservations two weeks prior for my cousins birthday who lives in TX but we all were traveling from VA. Reservation process was easy and the uber to the establishment was great. They offered valet parking in their secured lot for $10 and security was great. The check in process was super easy and staff was great. Our server was super cute, fun and efficient. She memorized our orders with changes and all. That was impressive! The decor was beautiful flowers everywhere from the time you stepped in even the bathroom. Perfect for a girls day and lots of pictures. We ordered a mimosa tower and hookah which came out fast. Not sure if it's a Texas thing but the attendant for our hookah came every 20ish minutes to tend to our coals and repack the hookah if needed for no additional charge. Virginia would never. This was so good. The food came out right after and this was EVERYTHING! If nothing else at least get a takeout order from this establishment. Between the three of us we had jerk lamb chops; eggs; potato; shrimp and grits and oxtail and grits. All absolutely delicious not one complaint. Food was so hot and fresh. There was a Dj during the time we were there for brunch and he really kept the energy going. He played everything from the 90s hip and R&B to current. He was super interactive with the tables which made it so much fun. He played cheetah girls at one point and everyone sang at the top of their lungs. This establishment is perfect and I highly suggest it. Can't wait to visit again.

    Lots of photo ops

First things first...the vibe and DJ are on point on Sundays brunch. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Below are reasons I gave it a 4 : - Paying for parking at an establishment that has plenty of private lot parking. Not good! - There's a lady taking pictures then the only way to get them is to pay $20 per picture and they don't take cash. This should be disclosed up front..

Honestly, if you're looking for a lit brunch this place was a vibe! Parking: We ubered, but they have a small parking lot where it looks like you can self-park or opt-in for the valet option. Not sure of the price. Service: We made reservations for a Sunday afternoon, but when we came in around noon or so, there wasn't a wait yet and we were sat immediately without having to offer the reservation details. Our waitress (can't remember her name) was friendly and very attentive. Anytime we needed something, she wasn't hard to find and brought what we needed. Food came out super quickly as well. Ambiance: Very cute decor inside and opportunities for photo-ops. They also offered bottle service and signs for those that were there celebrating their birthdays! DJ had a good mix going and was keeping everyone energetic as well. Food: we both got the French toast, me with the fried fish and my friend with the fried chicken (they offer both wings and tenders depending on your preference which I thought was a great touch). I enjoyed my fish and the French toast was just okay to me. Then again, I'm not a huge fan of sweet breakfast items. Drinks: We ended up getting mimosa carafes. They offered a variety of flavors, but unfortunately I can't remember what flavor I got. Not the strongest mimosas we've ever had, but they tasted good.

We tried the Big Back Breakfast. We split the breakfast between 3 people and had a ton of food leftover. The highlights Jerk lamb chops were ! Chicken tenders were ! Grits were On Point! The turkey sausage was really good! Lowlights: For me, it was the waffles. I really really disliked the waffles. But, the other two from my party liked the waffle so ‍. Also, my drink. The espresso martini was not good; way too much sugar and not enough alcohol. But, all-in-all, The place was fun. Lots of music, singing and dancing. Definitely a hype vibe.

I wasn't expecting much from this spot, because the reviews were so mixed. But, this was a clear indicator of don't judge a book by its cover because a time was had!!! A time was had! First, the venue is absolutely beautiful! The entrance is so pretty, it has all the aesthetics that will make this place tik tok and ig famous. They have some rules tho... tables of 5 or more either need to purchase 2 mimosa towers or have $300 in food and drinks in order to get a table. Houston brunch on Sundays are a bit different. So we ordered 2 mimosa towers and my friends ordered food. The max time limit is 90 mins from when the server arrives. They move pretty fast, and the mimosa hit for sure! The drinks were nice and strong! It was so turnt up in here. The dj was really good. The girls were outside having a great time! All in all, come here for Sunday brunch. We had a great time. It was definitely a cute vibe. See pics below.

Louisiana Catfish & Grits, forget me not drink (did not skimp on the liquor ), potatoes, collards.

First off the aesthetics are beautiful! I admit I was surprised at the security check, but we're not from here so we didn't judge. Safety first! The staff were amazingly welcoming. Our waitress Khalia reminded me so much of my hair stylist in VA Jasmine I had to show her! Even my husband agreed. She was attentive and personable! Now, on to the food. I ordered the catfish and grits w/side of collards and my husband the French toast with wings, side of potatoes. Delish! The DJ was good too. The vibe was definitely giving! We'll be back perhaps in Feb to celebrate our youngest daughter turning 20....

    Very clean Establishment

Forget Me Not is definitely a vibe. This review is based on my experience with the waitress and management. The service didn't start off great but a conversation with the management immediately changed my thoughts. The waitress was rude and we waited 45 minutes before we even got a cup of water. Speak with management (Ms. Destiny) and my experience was a 10/10. She was understanding and immediately corrected my issues. She ensured we had a great experience and assisted in any way possible. The food was fresh and hot. Give Forget Me Not a try! You won't be disappointed

The only thing missing is a water mister on the fans. Great place to hang with friends and enjoy on a nice day. Lots of space to spread out, bar seats, tables, fire pits, loungers etc. And even a private duck off space to relax, that's seperate from the bar. I trust they get alot of business for people wanting to enjoy drinks before dinner. The upstairs bar, is a more intimate space, with mostly bar seating, to those wanting air conditioner with their cocktails, lol. Drinks - I started with the Daiq-quila, and it was a good start, wonderful on a summer day. Next I had the the Brenners Signature Marg which was fine. My friend really enjoyed her $$ martini. Service - was fine. Had a slight mishap with the bill, but our young strapping server got it straightened out. Worth it, if coming for happy hour, otherwise it's a pretty penny for simple drinks you could really have anywhere for cheaper.

They also have a very spacious second space outside on the large, beautiful patio overlooking the well manicured landscape of the surrounding bayou. Myself and a few people from my group arrived a little early for dinner at Brenner's and decided to have a cocktail while waiting. The inside bar is small, but intimate. There is some seating around the neon lit bar and some high top tables around. We didn't have a whole lot of interaction with the bartender, but he was pleasant and made a solid drink. My drink of choice was a Brenner's Old Fashioned. It was happy hour and there were drink and light bite specials. My drink was properly made and dressed and was a tad bit on the strong side. For the happy hour price, not a bad drink. As expected at a fine dining place like Brenner's, regular price drinks can be spendy. Overall, it was a nice option to have a place to sit and enjoy a drink before or after dinner. I think I would even come back to enjoy the outdoor space which seemed like a little oasis in the middle of the city.

When people in reviews say this place is dark, I mean "the lights are almost out" dark. The bouncer told me he's seen it all upstairs...orgies, girl-on-girl, gangbangs, swingers, you name it....it's not exactly a casual speakeasy. You need to plan a night here if it's your prerogative. The upstairs is couples only, but the bouncer told me that if you'd slip him $20 then you can go upstairs and try your luck. The pictures they show you are brightened. This place is nearly pitch black. And I'm not saying this to blow up anyone's spot, it probably is a great spot for couples but it just wasn't my scene, especially when I vouched that it was a good place for me and my guy friend to chill. Also, the bartender wouldn't give me and my friend the time of day. I was really excited to see how this place made drinks and they wouldn't even service me and my friend...she just was checking her social media. I might come back here one day with a girlfriend I know VERY well, but as for now I'll keep my change and go somewhere else

$200 to Get Cancelled On: A Masterclass in Hospitality…read more We had reservations for the 6:00 p.m. cocktail tasting in the Arc Room and were required to pre-pay $200--because nothing says "relaxing evening" like a firm financial commitment. Naturally, if we hadn't shown, we would have been charged in full. However, when we arrived right on time, we were informed the event had been canceled. Apparently, a text was sent. Equally apparently, none of us received it--nor did at least three other couples standing there having the exact same delightful surprise. The double standard was...impressive. The hostess was apologetic but clearly overwhelmed and not exactly presentation-ready (stained shirt, visibly frazzled), which didn't inspire much confidence that this was an isolated hiccup. The proposed solution was to seat us in the bar--with the added charm of a strict "out by 8:00" timeline. A bold recovery strategy for canceling a prepaid experience at the last minute. We ordered the Clarkwood gin and tonic and a lychee martini--both recommended--along with a charcuterie board. Neither drink made it to the finish line. The martini leaned aggressively sweet, and the gin and tonic featured fruit-infused ice that sounded creative but tasted...confused. It also arrived in a shade of neon blue that felt less "craft cocktail" and more "science experiment." The charcuterie board was, somehow, the standout disappointment. The almonds were oily, the meat had those telltale dried edges of something that's been sitting out too long, and the accompaniments included what appeared to be Wheat Thins and plain animal crackers. It was an unexpectedly nostalgic trip to a child's snack drawer--just not one anyone asked for. Overall, this might pass as a novelty stop for a 21 run looking for something flashy, but between canceling prepaid reservations, questionable communication, and execution that missed the mark at every turn, it's difficult to find a compelling reason to return.
