I was highly impressed! Upon coming out of the elevator, we were greeted with complimentary champagne. If you're into aesthetics, this is the place for you. We sat at the bar and enjoyed happy hour which included half off appetizers and flatbreads. My friend tried one of the flatbreads and spinach dip while I had the calamari and strawberry cornbread. I will say it was just regular cornbread with a slight drizzle and strawberry garnish but it was still good. I would come here every time I come to Houston.
My friend and I came here on a whim and it was the best decision! We were greeted with complimentary champagne and sat at the bar. I love decor with the pink chairs and flowers above the bar. Our bartender was really nice and took our orders pretty fast. It was happy hour and I decided on the Cajun Chicken Flatbread and Spinach Dip. Both came out piping hot and delicious. The flatbread had great flavor and was perfectly crispy The spinach dip had great flavor as well and the pita was just right. When I'm back in Houston, this will definitely be a go to place for me!
The hostess did a good job with getting a table for us even though it was packed and there was a long wait due to them reseating the people from outside due to the storm. Priscilla was our server and she was so kind and patient with us. She took great care of our table and made our experience very enjoyable. All of the staff that we interacted with were kind, respectful and patient. We enjoyed the Girls' Dinner. I think it is a great concept. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. We will definitely return.
Reminds a solid 3 stars. Parking is validated for 2 hours in self parking. The menu presentation has improved. The sides have decreased in texture. Particularly the candid yams, they were very sticky and difficult to chew. As if I was eating airhead candy, which I dislike it entirely. I had a salmon plate with a side of rice. Both was Al la cart portions and the rice portion was less than a kid size. For $8. Reminded me of the mouthwash cup size of jollaf rice from November's event.
Had brunch at Confessions Restaurant & Lounge and really enjoyed the experience. I ordered the chicken and cookie butter waffles, which came with four full wings and four mini waffles. The waffles were fluffy and delicious, and the chicken was seasoned well and flavorful. I also tried the martini and sangria and enjoyed both. The decor is gorgeous with a fun, girly vibe that makes the space feel perfect for a birthday brunch, girls' night, or celebration. There's also patio seating available if you want to sit outside. The music was a mix of 90s R&B at the perfect volume -- enough to set the mood without making it hard to have a conversation. Parking was easy with an attached garage available. Overall, such a cute brunch spot with great vibes, good food, and a fun atmosphere.
This is a great place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or to just hang with friends, your partner, or by yourself at the bar. The decor is amazing, the music is a mix between R&B, Hip-Hop, and Afrobeats. Our server was friendly and very attentive. She checked on us the right amount of time. Our food came out pretty quickly too, so no complaints there. I would recommend coming out and checking this place out. Heat of the moment: 10/10.. perfectly spicy and perfectly balanced. It is not sweet nor bitter. This drink is perfectly in the middle. Spicy peach wings: 10/10.. I got them breaded and every bite was full of flavor. It was not too sweet and not too spicy. I highly recommend getting these. Brussels sprouts: 8/10.. They were good but nothing truly wowing about them. The sauce is what makes them great and it does have bits of bacon. Spinach dip with crab: 8/10.. this dip was amazing... except for the crab.. the crab meat was not good and tasted too much like the ocean. Crab is supposed to have a slight sweet taste to it. It's probably because I lived in Maryland and know how crab is supposed to taste. Texas got crawfish on lock but crab... eh.. I say get the regular spinach dip.
This is such a cute spot for brunch! The music was fantastic and our server was really nice. All of your party has to be present before you sit and there is a time limit on your table. We had 1 hour and 30 minutes since it was only two of us. If you have three or more people you will get two hours. And they are strict. They will kick you out lol. Other than that, there is plenty of parking in the parking garage. They do validate your parking, so don't pay like I did before walking into the restaurant. The drinks were really good and strong. I had the French toast sticks and lobster bites. Overall, the food was pretty typical for brunch. No complaints there. They are a little more pricey, but it's worth it. You definitely pay for the ambiance. I would definitely return. I saw that they have lychee martini specials on Thursdays. I visited on a Sunday. This would be cute for a date night or girls brunch.
Make a reservation guys! We walked in and were seated immediately. The staff was nice and the mimosa tree was great. I had lamb chops and they were delicious. The place is very well decorated but can get pretty noisy. Fills up quick so if you didn't reserve get there early. And valet park to avoid the hassle. It was about $15. Definitely recommend. Bathrooms were nice and clean too. Cute brunch spot or date spot.
We were excited to try this restaurant, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. Although we had a reservation, we waited nearly an hour to be seated. At no point when making the reservation were we informed that the entire party had to be present before we could be seated. When our table was finally ready, two members of our group had briefly stepped away to use the restroom. One of the hostesses was unnecessarily rude about not seating us until they returned. Thankfully, another host stepped in and handled the situation more professionally, allowing us to be seated while we waited the few minutes for them to come back. Once seated, our waitress was kind, courteous, and acknowledged that the restaurant was much busier than usual, which we appreciated. However, despite placing both our food and drink orders shortly after being seated, we waited another 30 to 40 minutes without receiving anything other than water. During that time, we watched a nearby table receive two rounds of drinks while we still had not received our initial order. We understand that restaurants can have exceptionally busy days, and we always try to be patient. However, the lack of communication, the unprofessional interaction with one of the hostesses, and the excessive wait times ultimately led us to leave without ever receiving our food or drinks. It was a frustrating experience and not the first impression we had hoped for.

I booked Confessions HTX for my 47th birthday and listen... they did not disappoint. Not even a little. We had two hostesses, Shay and Shay, yes both Shay, and they were on it. Prompt. Personable. Friendly. Attentive without hovering. That balance is rare and they nailed it. Honestly, every staff member we interacted with was accommodating, polite, and just genuinely pleasant. Now let's talk hookah. We did the Confessions custom hookah experience and whew... that is a MUST. Non negotiable. Smooth, flavorful, and worth every penny. Next time I might dip into the ice bar because curiosity is real. Food. Let's get into it. The wings deserve their own paragraph. Blueberry wings. COME THROUGH. Shockingly good. Like, why are these this good. The strawberry wings also hit, and the wet lemon pepper? Chile... nothing but goodness was spoken there. I ordered the blackened salmon. It wasn't super blackened, but it was still flavorful and paired perfectly with the whipped mashed potatoes. Comfort with a little razzle dazzle. Birthday love was flowing. Shots for the table, then Shay surprised me with a complimentary shot on the house. As if that wasn't enough, don't forget the glass of champagne they hand you at check in. Top tier. That small touch sets the tone immediately. Overall? A great experience. Beautiful ambiance. Amazing photo ops. Attentive service. Solid food. Thoughtful touches. What a time. Confessions HTX understood the assignment and executed it with style. I'll absolutely be back.
Made reservations for my birthday dinner with friends on a Saturday night. I really liked that they had later reservations as I was busy that day. I came in to the restaurant right on time and still had to wait about 50 minutes to get seated. Our waitress was really great but I'm sorry I don't see the hype about this establishment. Everything is over priced 20-25 dollars for a cocktail is absolutely ridiculous. At the end of the night, my friends asked if they do anything for birthdays and we were told you have to order a dessert and they'll put a sparkler on it. I definitely will never come back here!
The food was good, customer service, not so much. We sat for about 30 minutes before actually being serviced. Eventually the manager got involved and was super nice, as was the new waitress we got. I am still not sure how we were overlooked, but they made up for it. The actual restaurant is beautiful the moment you walk in. The champagne on entry is also a very nice touch. I will be back.
I'm giving this a 5 star review strictly off of vibes. The ambience is enough to get you through the door and make you come over and over again. It's almost like a hidden gem that almost everyone already knows about. Me and my son went on a brunch date and had an amazing time. The ladies are gorgeous, the atmosphere is exquisite, and the aroma makes you feel like you're on a mini vacation. The food is cool. lol but this is a place you go to live life. You take your friends here to impress them. This is nothing g but vibes all around. From the moment you get out of the car and step onto the elevator even if you park on the same floor you have to watch those doors open up and step into a new world. Straight vibes. The service is amazing as well. I had the pleasure of being served by an angel with the most beautiful face by the name of Jordyn. And I watched all the views go by as we sat outside on the patio in amusement. Yes, I did eat. lol but like I said the food was definitely overshadowed by the vibes. Can't wait to go back solely because of that.

New place I've never heard of! Hot Truffle Chicken. Amazing! Peach covered wings. Delicious! All of it was very different than anything I've ever had before, but so good! Oh, and Chase was fantastic! Great recommendations and even better service! read more

Because Yelp recommended it, I looked at the Confessions website and immediately suggested it to my dinner group based solely on the aesthetic portrayed in the photos. Later, when I found out it was a hookah bar, I became concerned, for my friends and I are definitely foodies with high expectations when it comes to food. However, midway through our appetizers, my concerns dissipated as the oohs and aahs floated across our table. We were a party of 7, and every one of us, without exception, remarked at the deliciousness of each offering. We had the calamari (perfectly tender and crispy,) the pasta (Al dente and oh so very savory!) the hummus (the accompanying pita triangles were incredibly crisp and the dish delightful,) and the rosemary truffle fries, which were, again, perfectly crispy, and incredibly flavorful. For entrees, a couple of us had the burger (wonderful, and the bacon jam is a GAME-CHANGER.) the Cajun Alfredo (packs a punch in flavor,) the Honey Truffle Chicken (outstanding.) the Crab Fried rice (I didn't taste it, but the person who ordered it loved it,) and the Kabobs. (Again, I didn't taste them, but the person who ordered the dish said it was excellent.) The cocktails were wonderful, as well. Back to the ambience: it's certainly beautiful, airy, with tall ceilings and abundant natural light from the expansive windows. The furniture is tasteful modern-eclectic and comfortable: something else we all noticed is it was void of any odors - very fresh and clean, which is huge for a hookah bar. Service, like the food, was outstanding. Every single staffer we encountered was gracious, welcoming, and genuinely warm. We appreciated the recommendations from our server and the visits from management. So, Confessions has it all, and we will definitely be back to try more of the menu. What an awesome find! read more

Upon entry we were greeted with a glass of champagne which was such a nice touch. The ambiance was nice, they played confessions by usher about 10 times but overall aesthetically pleasing. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. Now, we walked out of there and reflected thinking -- we just got robbed. $180 for a shared entree, appetizer, side & 2 drinks is fine I guess but the quality has to match and this wasn't it. The strawberry wings had no depth in flavor just wings tossed in strawberry jam. No seasoning, no spice, no salt, no thought. Stick to the regular flavors - and fyi the strawberry will be on in your nails for the next 24 hours. The lamb Rockefeller was innovative but just didn't hit for me. Maybe if the topping was a bit more charred but it was like spinach dip on top of lamb chops. The Mac and cheese was solid, but nothing boxed Mac & cheese can't do. You're there for the ambiance, not the food. While the food is edible, for the price point you can find way better food in Houston. If I return I'd sit at the bar & get hookah with 1 appetizer. read more

Here for the $1 lychee martinis!! Thursday night special with the purchase of an entree. We started at the bar with Sherri their amazing bartender!! All the drinks were top tier After moving to a table Chase took great care of us. All the girls enjoyed their food. Amongst the table we had the hot honey chicken, lemon pepper wings, fries , shrimp kabobs , and brussel sprouts. Drink wise of course the lychee martinis, lemon drops, espresso martinis, side chick and 21 confessions. The DJ was good keeping the vibes up all night Rice was a little undercooked and it took a while to get the hookah coals replaced. Overall a great experience so still a 5 read more
First time and def not our last... we had a time here last week. I miss the lamb chops already LOL. Even the yams and greens were good! We thoroughly enjoyed the music and the food. It's so popular that I recommend you rsvp or join the waitlist. The only thing they lack is better service and communication. I wasn't sure if it's because they were understaffed or the person serving us wasn't having the best of days but even at the front they weren't communicating well and I think in order for it to run smooth, everybody needs to be on the same page. I did appreciate that there was a valet service and if you choose not to valet, the restaurant will definitely validate your ticket. read more

I made a reservation here to celebrate a friend's birthday after seeing it described as an "upscale" spot. The prices definitely support that aesthetic. When you check in, they greet you with a glass of champagne, which I loved (especially as a champagne lover!). The place was packed, almost to the point of chaos. A note: there's a time limit on tables, so that's worth knowing before you go. This is 100% an Instagram/TikTok vibe restaurant. The decor is photo ready, the crowd is lively, and the music is very loud. Loud to the point where it's hard to have a conversation. Hookah is available if that's your thing. I ordered the salmon, and my friend went with the fried chicken. Both were just okay. Not bad, but not memorable either, and we didn't end up finishing our meals. Overall, it's a fun spot to check out once for the vibe and photos, but not somewhere I'd rush back to. read more

So, just like many other restaurants in Houston, this is a gorgeously beautiful space. Great for pictures and videos. But, the food is just decent. We had many of the appetizers for our event at Texas Young Professionals in the private room. And they were...fine. (They were immensely better than the food from Se7en, so that is a step in the right direction!) When we walked in, I noticed that the staff seemed a bit awkward, apprehensive, and hesitant. It was...quite a unique experience. Lol. However, one hostess walked me to the private room and I met my party. Afterwards, I wanted to take pictures and videos so I left the private area in which we were located. The servers in the main area was just standing around talking to each other along the sides of the walls. Candidly, it was a really weirdly uncomfortable atmosphere. Another thing, I took my nieces to the networking event because I had to take them somewhere afterwards, and I really did not like that they had hooka smoke pretty much eeeeeeverywhere along the bar area. I had to explain to my nieces what it was and it was a conversation I didn't plan on having. To say that I would come back is a bit premature, but I would like to try some of the other food items just to be sure! read more

Most enjoyable experience I had in a longggggg time in houston. My husband and I came in the daytime because we don't like the night time ruckus First they validate your parking 2 hrs! You're met with champagne at the door Ambiance is beautiful . Great for those photo ops! Appetizer: strawberry wings 8/10 delicious the strawberry glaze wasn't overwhelming or super sweet Main: lamb chops: 8/10 delicious seasoned perfectly Side: Mac and cheese 2/10 it was a miss it wasn't bad just regular Brussel sprouts : 10/10 DELICIOUS! Full of flavor cook to perfection Dessert: bisccof cheesecake 8/10 delicious Honestly the only hiccup was we waited 30 mins for a sever but we called someone over and he served us the whole time and was great Also tip is included!! read more
Came for drinks and hookah and stayed for the vibes! Service was great. What ever drink you get is great. I will say they're supposed to offer you a complimentary glass of sparkling wine when you walk in but the hostess didn't even bother. Shoutout to our server who ensured we got one. We ordered a hookah - Love 66. I feel like i haven't been to a place in Houston that can do love 66 right but confessions did a good job! I didn't get to eat but based off service (server not hostess) alone I'll definitely be back. read more

The food recommendations were phenomenal and the experience you curated was incredible. You definitely are in the right place to share your journey with others! Went here to celebrate my friends birthday and all of the food was delicious. The drinks are definitely strong as well. Side note: my friends got a lemon drop and was charged $24 each so I would just be weary of getting drinks that aren't already on the menu. The ambiance was nice and a great place to take pictures. Had a very positive experience here at Confessions! Initially, I didn't have high expectations, as the restaurant is still very new and naturally, we expected there to be a few hiccups but the experience exceeded my expectations. The food was tasty, great value for the price of the menu items and service (provided by Jae) was amazing. I would definitely recommend and will be back soon. The only thing on the menu we weren't a fan of were the kabobs; the flavor wasn't good, as they tasted too charred, in addition to a teriyaki flavor that did not mesh well. Had an amazing experience at Confessions this past Saturday! Immediately upon entry, we were warmly greeted and offered champagne. We checked in and the wait wasn't long at all even though it was a busy night. Sandy was the absolute sweetest - she seated us in VIP, which was such a sweet surprise. She walked us through the menu and shared some recommendations, which none of them were a disappointment. Our waiter Z from Chicago came over and blessed us with great hospitality as well. She was very attentive the entire visit. Let's get down to the food and drinks, which is an absolute must try! For food, we had the honey truffle chicken (omg perfection!), brussel sprouts, mac n cheese and lamb chops. Let's just say our plates were empty lol! Seriously sooo good! For drinks, we had the signature Espresso Martini and another drink that included blackberries. Listennnnn to me when I say 10/10!!! And let me not forget to add it was complimentary! The menu is fairly limited yet delicious, we had lamb chops which were cooked and seasoned perfectly as was the salmon! Our service was excellent and we were seated immediately after we were greeted with complimentary champagne. Our Server Shay was extremely sweet and personable . The restaurant itself is BEAUTIFULLY decorated ! We went in a weekday which did not require a reservation but we were told it's very busy on the weekends, so make sure to make a reservation if you plan to go on a weekend . I would have liked a little more of a variety of dishes but the fast service made me appreciate it the quality more than anything! We will definitely be doing more date nights or girls night out here in the future . I don't see this being a kid friendly restaurant environment as much as an adult friendly place. read more
I found this place from an instagram reel. And I really love the vibe there. Food and drink were good. The service was great. The decor is quite interesting. The only thing I don't really like about is they have limited dining time based on number of your party and automatically 20% gratuity charged. read more

Ambiance: 10/10! Beautiful and insta-worthy decor. Flowers everywhere. Definitely a vibe! Drinks: I only tried the Lychee Martini which was a 10/10! Very delicious and not super sweet. It came as a recommendation from our server and she mentioned they were $1 that night (Thursdays -with purchase of an appetizer). Friends ordered other drinks before I arrived and they struggled to finish them noting they were just okay. Everyone loved the Lychee martinis and I ordered a 2nd round for the table! Food: meh 5/10. This is the average of everyone at the table. I ordered Brussels since I figured that was safe and I love them. Well they were edible but barely. Give them a 4/10. Lemon pepper wings 2/10 (friend only at one and left them. She said they were too sour). Shrimp kabobs and rice 5/10 (friend said rice tasted old like it was cooked in a pot that was sitting out for days with dishwashing liquid still lingering). Chicken Alfredo 6.5/10. Hookah: I don't smoke but everyone loved the hookah and said they'd come here just for the hookah and ambiance. Service: 8/10 server was attentive and had a great attitude. We were low maintenance this night and didn't ask or need for much. Drinks and food came out quickly! read more

I LOVEEE LOVEEEE THIS PLACE OMGGGG. The new years menu did it for me! Have to leave a review. I've been here a couple times. It is a little pricey in my opinion but it is what it is. The food: amazing. Ordered the house salad, spicy peach wings( those right there!!!!) , Mac and cheese and the 8oz filet mignon. Everything tasted great. Service: was GREAT, she was so sweet and very attentive. Drinks: I loved the jalapeño drink I got. The sangria was good too. They're really good they have long names I don't remember them Ambiance: 10/10 it's always cute. read more

I was very disappointed with my experience. The food was honestly mid and not worth the hassle. The biggest issue, however, was the parking. The signage is misleading -- it states that parking is validated, but does not mention that validation only applies to self-parking and not valet. This was never explained to me when I was told about validation. When I brought this up, the restaurant claimed they had no control over the parking situation, yet the sign is posted in connection with the restaurant and gives incomplete information. This lack of transparency is frustrating and unacceptable. Between the average food and the misleading parking situation, I will not be returning. read more
When I walked in I realized that this restaurant use to be Se7en. I had no idea they had closed and this restaurant was now Confessions. Our waitress was friendly and gave good suggestions. I had the spicy rigatoni with blackened chicken. The pasta was so flavorful and seasoned very well. My only complaint was that the chicken was a little bit overcooked. Overall the experience was good. I'd definitely visit again. read more

Yesterday, my partner and I dined at this restaurant. Here are my thoughts: 1. The food was genuinely delicious. 2. However, based on our experience, we did not feel welcomed as Asian customers Here is why: 1. We were given utensils that were not properly cleaned. 2. After taking our order, the server rolled her eyes in a very rude and dismissive manner. 3. The server attempted to charge us for gratuity twice -- an automatic service charge was already included, yet she insisted that we had not paid any tip. 4. Each time water was refilled, it was poured from what appeared to be the very bottom of the pitcher. 5. When we asked for our leftovers to be packed, the way the server handled our food was shockingly disrespectful. Overall, the restaurant offers tasty food at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the service experience raised serious concerns about discrimination and a lack of basic professionalism . read more
I think this place is beautiful and the service was great 10/10. Everyone was respectful and very friendly. The food : strawberry wings 8/10 , rigatoni 8/10 and spinach dip was 7/10 ( was bland ) . Drinks were 10/10. I will be back for happy hour!!!! read more
