We took our toddler here yesterday and though she was too small for most of the activities she had a blast and the place was amazing! We look forward to having her 3rd birthday here. I have read the comment section and will def take notes because it does seem that is where most of the complaints are from. Overall a great place for the kiddos :)

10/10 experience. Our daughter absolutely loved it! Our favorite was laser tag! That was the most fun & def got our workout in! Mini golf was also super fun & creative! They have a lot of different things to do! We highly recommend!

We had our son's fifth birthday here and it did not disappoint! From the moment we got there to check in, everyone was welcoming and ORGANIZED. Our room was already set up with table covers, plates + cups + water. Our host Alex was amazing to us and handled everything with care. He was so attentive to us which we really appreciated! The food was great and our entire party had so much fun! 10/10 recommend!

Showing no height restrictions at checkout or when picking passes.

I will not bringing back my family after today. My daughter received money to bring a friend with her to lost worlds for Christmas from her gramps. Paying for 2 passes and a large pepperoni pizza costs $114. Only to find out when we arrived after checking in and kids about to play that my daughter who is 11 and her friend who is 11 as well could not play in the big play structure, this is the main attraction of this place. I did talk to Rose who seemed to be the manager, did state that there was a height restriction after the fact and after my child got denied. She stated that it should be on the site and I see replies from the manager on here in reviews have said the same thing. However, I have pictures showing that they do not state any height restrictions when buying the passes and at checkout. This is a false advertisement. The other activities they have here will not keep 11 yr old attention for more than an hour. The price ypu pay does not match up to the number of activities this place has to offer. We actually ended up leaving in frustration to go bowling. I will never return to this place again. It is sad as we use to frequent this place alot, and the last time was in October and my kid had no issues. I hear its under new management so that may be the issue. 1 star... enough said spend ypur money elsewhere.

Love this place & will definitely be back. I was lil worried after reading some reviews, but we were looking for a place to have my sons 6th birthday & stumbled upon Lost Worlds. He's a huge dinosaur fan, so as soon as I found it, I knew we had to have his birthday here. The place is super cool & HUGE! There's so much to do! We have to come back & spend a lil more time to get through everything. Our party host was Laila. We had a 2 hour party & she kept it flowing perfectly! She had everything ready, was always there if we had any questions or wanted to add any food. Honestly, after throwing so many parties myself it helped a lot to have an attentive host there taking over almost everything. 500/10 on the service! We can't wait to come back!

Ask the Community - Lost Worlds

    Is outside food allowed in?

If you are having a reserved party here, then cake, ice cream cupcakes and goody bags can be brought in but no other outside food. If you are doing a walk-in party there is a $25.00 cake fee. But no other food is allowed.

In the party package are the 16 adults allowed to play on the structure with their children?

I believe you're able to go in to supervise children. I.e. minor children that require help climbing or can get lost in the play structure.

Is ApplePay available to pay for games, food, souvenirs, etc?

Not yet. I estimated early June for that.

Is it really loud in there?

I went on a day wit multiple parties. It was not overly loud considering the kids all running around. You can easily talk to the people around you.

Is there a mask policy here?

No mask required when we went about two months ago.

Can the whole place be booked for a party? Are the listed prices online for public or private parties?

What age range would you recommend for Lost Worlds?

Hi! We are a family fun center for the whole family! There’s things for the toddlers to do and play in, there’s ninja warrior and rock climbing, there’s laser tag/mini golf/bowling for all ages!

The hours say closed on mondays...however, on the website they have options for party packages on monday...is that right? or website mistake?

If you mean Yelp versus LW's website, then I'd believe the website more. If in doubt then CALL. I did when there was disagreement and found they were indeed open.

    Do they charge for parents?

If you mean for the play structure, yes, if you intend to go into the structure with your child. Generally, parents relax on the sofas or stools while their kids play. For other activities, like golf, laser tag, etc anyone participating will pay.… Read more

I was nervous about bigger kids accidentally pushing my baby while running around, but it felt comfortable and manageable the whole time. The slides and play structures were really cool and my little one had such a fun time running around and exploring. I especially appreciated that they have a separate toddler/younger kids area which made it feel safer and less overwhelming. As a parent, I noticed the staff did a good job keeping things organized and the overall environment felt pretty clean. There were also plenty of places for parents to sit while still being able to watch their kids play, which I appreciated. But it's either my hubby, I, or the both of us with my baby the whole time. Parking was easy too and check-in was pretty smooth. I do wish the place was a little bigger, but I also understand indoor playgrounds are probably expensive to maintain and operate these days. Overall, it was a fun experience and my baby left tired and happy which is always a win. Would definitely come back. Just wish there was a location closer to Morgan Hill!

We had some slightly older siblings that also seemed to be enjoying everything also. We did the 2 hour party but I wish we did the private party for longer. There was a random kid that wandered into the party area and also an elderly woman and a baby that was not part of our party. Other reviews are spot on, though. The lines can get long, it feels overcrowded pretty quickly, and the staff doesn't seem particularly engaged (at all). None of that is ideal, but honestly, I can look past those things. My biggest concern is the age range. During our visit this morning, there were several older kids (around 10-12 years old) tearing through the play areas, running up slides clearly marked not to do so, and pushing past both adults and younger children. I watched two babies get knocked over, tears and all. While I believe parents should absolutely manage their kids' behavior, the age gap itself feels like the core issue. Having toddlers and babies in the same play area doesn't feel safe. I understand the challenge: families with younger kids and older siblings want a place everyone can enjoy, and birthday parties often include mixed ages. But the reality is that older kids are naturally more rambunctious, and there's nothing wrong with that. This space just isn't designed for them. Ultimately, it feels like an accident waiting to happen. Great concept and a hit with younger kids, but the lack of age separation makes it hard to feel fully comfortable from a safety standpoint.

There is a dinning area and snack bar with various treats and quick eats like pizza and nachos. There is an enclosed open party area to host a birthday, lots of arcade games, clean restrooms, oversized comfy chairs for parents to observe from and massage chairs to pamper while the little play. We will return during the 30 day pass and dependent on the usage we may purchase the annual membership ($259), which is half off a 12 month membership month to month at $43.99 (based on an Extra Play membership). The Basic Play membership is limited at $36.99 and offers 50% off GLOW (vs free as Extra Play). GLOW is a BIG DEAL to our daughter so that's a must have for us to have included. GLOW, at this location, does not begin until 8 PM.With so many other kids playing, our daughter bounced between kids to play with and enjoyed a couple longer than others. At 9:15, majority of the kids our daughter was playing with were gone. With the drastic decline in playmates and the closure of one zone it dampened her spirits. The late start of GLOW will likely be our greatest reason for not becoming members. We tried it on a Saturday this time. We will try again on a Friday to see if there is any difference in play and length of attendance. Overall, such a great experience with updated, modernized play spaces for big and little kids alike.

A Chaotic and Concerning Experience -- Not the Birthday Celebration We Expected…read more I attended my great nephew's birthday party at Sky Zone yesterday, and unfortunately, this was one of the most poorly managed children's party venues I've experienced. My children are now young adults, so it has been a long time since I've been to a place like this--but even with that in mind, the disorganization was shocking. My niece had reserved a party room for 3:00 PM. The day before, she was told the reservation had been moved to 3:30 PM. When we arrived at 3:30, staff informed us that the room wouldn't be available until 4:00 PM. Even then, nearly an hour later, there was still no indication the prior group would be cleared out. To make matters worse, several other rooms sat empty, yet staff refused to open any of them for our group. The entire facility felt chaotic, overcrowded, and understaffed. What concerned me most was the complete lack of security protocols. There were multiple entrances and exits with no employees monitoring who came in or out. Adults were not checked in or connected to a child, which is extremely unsettling for a venue filled with minors. At similar venues we visited when our own children were young, adults had to be verified at the entrance, and children were not allowed to leave without a designated adult. None of that existed here. Cleanliness was another major issue. My husband reported that the men's restroom was in such poor condition that boys were missing the too-tall urinals and urinating on the floor--while children were then running through that area in their Sky Zone‑issued socks before heading back to the play spaces. That alone is unacceptable. The women's restroom, thankfully, was clean and quiet, but it was the only part of the facility that felt remotely controlled. I will say that the kids had a wonderful time, and I'm grateful for that. But as a parent or guardian concerned about safety, organization, and basic cleanliness, I cannot recommend this venue. Sky Zone needs significant improvements before I would ever consider returning.

Completed waivers, selected her play time, and purchased my daughter's admission ticket ($24.94) along with a pair of grip Bay Play socks ($4.00) online. A chaperone ticket is required ($0), additional chaperones are $5 each. Adults either wear their own socks or shoe covers inside of play area. On a Monday at 4:30p there was only one other car parked. Inside there was one child at play. As the day went on a couple more children joined. The kids all played together as one, which was heart warming to see. The restrooms are located at the rear of the play space, at the end of the Ninja Warrior Jungle structure. There are two major play structures, one for bigger kids to climb, swing and play, the other for smaller kids to do the same with play tailored to their petite size. There are three jump spaces with two attached to what appears to be VR simulated devices. There are lots of arcade games for the kids to play, at an additional charge. Outside food is not permitted. Small snacks are allowed. There are two vending machines at the entrance of the play area - one drinks and the other snacks. There are four massage chairs for chaperones to exist in while the littles play. It accepts mobile pay and cards. One chaperone was enjoying herself during our time, eyes shut. There are 2-3 tables at the front of Bay Play with 4 additional tables at the rear closest to the restrooms. For $25, our daughter was able to play from the time of arrival to close (7p). This is definitely an option to consider for play dates or to pop in for something to do. It is located on the border of Emeryville and Oakland. Bay Play is embedded within a neighborhood. There is street parking directly in front of the location.

Off the bat, I want to say this is one of the more affordable indoor playgrounds I've been to (some I've gone to will charge for adults?!) and there was no time limit (some places give you a time limit of how long you can play for) so that was a plus. They do require you to purchase their socks (can't be grippy socks from anywhere else) but even with the socks and day pass, I want to say it was only $35? The kids loved running around the swing ropes, the indoor playground with slide, and the big bouncy thingy under the bouldering wall. My only concern about the bouncy thingy by the bouldering wall is there aren't any safety rails or things around it and I can't tell if it's safer with or without it but I definitely needed to stay close by in case he bounced off the entire cushion thingy. If you have highly sensitive little ones or neurodivergent kiddos, this place may be a tad overstimulating with the arcade right smack dab in the middle. Like other reviewers had mentioned, it would be nice if the arcade was slightly away from the physical play so that kids aren't distracted/overstimulated by the arcade screens. We did eventually end our outing at the arcades (spent another $40 on the game card...sigh) but luckily we won a big jackpot from one of the games to make it all worth it! Of note, you can't really wear your shoes in the bathroom which is kinda gross so bear that in mind. All in all, definitely one of the better indoor playgrounds in the Bay Area!
