Ordered a bagel extra toasted with butter. And get to work to find it slathered with butter as thick as half the bagel and pouring out the sides. Disgusting. And it hasn't been toasted at all. Mediocre. I find that they skimp out on things. The egg sandwiches aren't very built up. The eggs are flat layers and they put maybe 3 slices of bacon. If you're looking for a greasy hangover cure, don't order your sandwich here. The bagels are pretty good, but they could let them toast a little longer. You also won't get a huge dollop of cream cheese on it. Which is nice for some people but I don't know, I'm used to having my bagels loaded with it. read more

I live right around the corner and when I am in a hurry and my boyfriend is going to get up hungry I always run to Lots O Bagels. They have the best and cheapest bagels in the area. Always have a line of customers but they are quick and precise with every order. I would reccommend this to anyone, I didn't like bagels but now its all about Lots o Bagels in Astoria. read more

Lot's-O-Bagels has been my go to bagel spot since moving to Astoria 5+ years ago. When I started going, the bagels were the only reason I went, as the shop was a transplant back to the 80s, but now, it's a place I like to sit and enjoy my bagel and coffee and surf the net. They did a really nice remodel in early 2015 (or late 2014) and the place is really nice looking and allows for a better flow of customers for how busy it can get. I would recommend Lot's-O-Bagels over all other shops near by. read more

The bagels were ok. Nothing outstanding about it. One of the front girl has an attitude problem for no reason. If you are having a bad day, stay home? No need to take it out on the customers. Figured this place would be convenient since it's right next to the train...not a chance. All I needed was a plain bagel with cream cheese and it took 15 mins. I ordered quick enough but they just seemed very unorganized. I watched as the bagel rolled off the toaster and sat there for ten mins before someone grabbed it. I ordered an everything bagel with two eggs, sausage and cheese and my, oh, my, their everything bagel is mind blowingly good. I don't go for bagels that frequently but even my boyfriend who tends to be highly critical about bagels (He absolutely loves Brooklyn Bagel) said he enjoyed the bagel. I ordered a bialy with tofu a week before and even that was delicious. If you're not sure as to whether or not you want to spend your money here then stop by the shop and pick up a card that gives you $15 off your grubhub order. Since she is always a pleasure, and I can't turn down coffee or homemade bagels I decided to give her place a try. Awesome selection, and the people were so nice! I like the new update .... i use to come here every weekend and eat but now theirs no where to even sot. They have very few seats and you people with their one small coffee just sitting and reading a book and others just talking ...... so when i told management they need a sign that says only 30 min sit ins alll she said was ok .... other than that the food is great. read more

i can't believe there are so many great reviews for this place! maybe it's because it's one of the only bagel places around. but i think it's terrible! the bagels are decent, but they're small. the bagels are expensive and the staff there are really cheap with what they give you. i paid about $8 for a bagel with cream cheese and lox (my hangover fix), and when i unwrapped the bagel, i saw that they had given me half a slice of smoked salmon. really? for $8. i went back about a month later for a bagel with smoked whitefish, and the whitefish was bad and sour. that was $6. for those prices and the bad quality, i'd rather go into the city for a bagel. read more

It's not worth the trouble. Originally this place was an OK local spot for a fair breakfast but it has gone way downhill. I waited for 1.5 hours for food that never came. When I called to complain the owner didn't have anything he was willing to do, i.e. cut some price etc for cold food that I was still going to be waiting for. Brooklyn bagel which has 100 times better bagels and quality of food is crazy busy most mornings always delivers in 45 min or less. The lack of quality of the food the horrendous service makes this place a never again for me. I never spend time to write these reviews but I was so displeased with the poor service this time that I want to save others the same trouble. Call a different place. read more

coming from someone who grew up on bagels, this place has good bagels. whether you need a bacon, egg, and cheese after a long night of drinking or if you're looking to save some calories with the tofu cream cheese spread- its all good. their wheat bagels are great and they also have a whole-wheat everything. They also have mini-bagels which I tend to get when I'm not as hungry. Not a big fan of their coffee and wish they had soy milk for the coffee. read more

I placed an order off grub hub and one of the menu descriptions said that the pancakes came with home fries and toast. Well when I got my order it didn't have either of them with the order. I called to let them know and they continued to say I was wrong and that I was looking at an old menu. I told them it was on grub hub's menu. They offered no fix and just said I was wrong. Not cool! Needless to say I won't be ordering from them again! There are too many other options to be treated like that when they are in the wrong. read more

I keep giving this a place a chance cause it's so close to my apartment, but it's the worst place for bagels. They leave you bagel laying in the toaster to the point where it's cold, by the time they put the spread on. If you ask them to toast it again, it comes out beyond burnt and they just give you that bagel and say have a nice day. This is not place to go for a bagel. read more

Absolute fav bagel spot in all NYC - my former roommates still bemoan the loss of not getting Lots o Bagels every weekend. Delicious and cheap. Lost a star because the coffee could be much better and if you order delivery you have to spend $15. With everything so cheap that's hard to accomplish. I go here for the bagel, Bakeway for the coffee and relax at home on weekend mornings. read more

I never write reviews, but the customer service at this place is THE WORST. They constantly mess up orders. I order 2 bagels and 1 coffee on seamless. After not receiving my order for over an hour I called so see where it was and was told it was on its way. 20min later I called again and was told the order had been messed up and they were making it then...but refused to do anything about the delay except say "sorry". The food is decent, but definitely NOT worth the frustration...there are other bagel stores around! read more

I usually love this place and they usually do a good job. But today, not only did the person that took my order get one thing wrong, he got two things wrong. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel and instead I got a hard roll. I ordered a french vanilla flavored coffee and I got regular flavored coffee. So disappointing. Maybe it was just the person that took my order because usually they are good. Also, the young Asian girl that is working the counter needs to learn faster or not work there. She gets in the way, slows things down, and messes things up. She's new so I'll give her some leeway on a learning curve, but she just seems like she's not catching on fast enough. read more
