We recently came here for the first time to see the candlelight concert of ABBA vs Queen. I have never experienced anything like this. I had goosebumps it was so good! I have been telling everyone about this experience. And have now made plans to go back next month with friends to hear Fleetwood Mac!! I highly recommend this experience!!!

The Arctic Club is a gorgeous slice of Seattle history wrapped in Beaux-Arts elegance (and a few walrus heads for flair). Our fifth-floor room faced Cherry Street--the same side where Congressman Marion Zioncheck met his untimely end in 1936. Thankfully, our stay was all comfort and zero ghosts. The room was spotless, cozy, and came with a minibar we admirably ignored. The highlight of our visit was the Candlelight Quartet's Halloween Classics concert in the Dome Room. The ambiance was incredible--haunting in the best way--and you can even order drinks and snacks during the show. Bonus points for that. Fun fact: scenes from Stephen King's Rose Red were filmed here! Afterward, we grabbed dinner in the bar and lounge. My crispy Brussels sprouts with shishito peppers were amazing, while my husband's Caesar salad played it safe. I enjoyed a glass of Noughty non-alcoholic sparkling wine, which paired perfectly with the historic vibes. All in all, a fantastic experience that blends history, charm, and just enough spookiness to make it memorable. Can't wait to come back!

What a remarkable place to stay! The staff were some of the nicest people I've met, so the service was spectacular. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you've stepped into a Film Noir, with the Art Deco design and little hidden pieces from the past, such as old top hats, in addition to all the photographs. The room itself was nice and clean, with a very comfortable bed, a stocked minibar, and French-press coffee. What blew me away was the food and cocktails. I wasn't expecting such delicious, well-crafted food and drink. I'm so sad I only got to spend two nights there. I can't wait to go back!

I had a great stay at the Arctic club. The service was excellent, breakfast met my needs, and the room was beautiful. My only issue is that the lighting in the room was so dim that couldn't see well to read or work and by the closet there was so little light that I couldn't see my clothes or shoes.

We had a great stay at the Artic Club! Room was very large and clean. I loved that they had robes to relax in too. We enjoyed happy hour in the lobby by the fireplace - ambiance was 10/10 in the lobby! They have a pool table and great bar. Everything was also very walkable! We walked to lunch and dinner with friends. Had a great stay and worth the money!

The Arctic Club Hotel has such a cool, classic vibe--the décor is beautiful and gives that historic, timeless feel. The bed was super comfortable, probably one of the best I've slept in at a hotel. We did arrive late and unfortunately there was no doorman on duty, which made things a little tough getting in with a lot of luggage. The bar staff started off a bit rude, but to their credit, they warmed up and the service improved by the end. Overall, it's a unique and stylish place with great comfort, just a couple of small hiccups with service.

What a wonderful hotel! Booked a one night stay for my partners birthday, and the experience was fantastic. Room was clean and comfortable, service was great, and everyone working here was kind and welcoming. We were surprised by the amazing food at the polar bar and the free breakfast. (Free breakfast is rare to begin with, but the food they offered was so high quality!) Highly suggest staying here if you're ever in Seattle.

Great hotel stay at Arctic Hotel in Seattle! This historic hotel had loads of charm and friendly, interesting staff. Never figured out the walrus connection, but enjoyed all the arctic animal references! Had fish and chips and a fabulous cocktail at the bar - the selection of cocktails was extensive and creative! Excellent bar program! Maybe a little pricey (fish and chips was $30), but that's probably pretty on par for Seattle. Fish and chips was delicious with what I think was a house-made tartar sauce and some AMAZING apple slaw! Fries were made with duck fat I think, and very tasty! Bed was comfortable, room was a nice size and there were plenty of in-room amenities (though not a fridge). Breakfast was FREE (made up for the $30 fish and chips!) and was once of the best free breakfasts I've had, with well-seasoned food and an incredible selection of fresh fruit! Would stay here again!

Vintage Hotel in Seattle! We normally stay at the Marriott that is close to the stadiums when we come to Seattle for events but they were booked! I found the Arctic not too far away and it looked great so we took a chance and booked a night. Location: From the King Street Train station you can take the 1 line subway 1 stop to Pioneer Square and you're at the door of the hotel so that is amazing. Check in: normally we've been able to take the train up and get into a room early afternoon even with a 4pm check in, Arctic did not have rooms ready when we arrived at noon. No big deal, check in wasn't till 4 anyway. The lobby is large and lots of little seating areas, it's dark but the moodiness fits the era of the building! They kept our bags and we went to find lunch and came back around 2:30 and checked again, they moved us to a different room that was ready to get us in sooner so that was awesome! Some hotels have that texting notice to let you know the room was ready. That would have been nice but definitely not a deal breaker! The room: So well done for a vintage hotel! Building said remodel in 2008?, built in 1914 (1916?) and I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the room was. Comfortable beds. Down pillows. Super cute bathroom. The cabinet with fridge and coffee is awesome although it rattles some. Sitting area with chairs and a desk. Big windows with full room darkening curtains. One thing - bathroom door has a glass window in it. It's textured so not completely see through but for teenage girls They were a little weirded out by that. "don't look mom!" Breakfast: Wow. Typical hotel free breakfast is pretty meh. This one is included at no additional cost and excellent. Check my videos! The eggs and sausage were great. Worlds above other free hotel breakfast. This is definitely my new favorite hotel in Seattle and will stay here every time we come for a show or a game!

Customer service is 8/5 stars. Everyone goes above and beyond to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. There are personalized touches, evidence of respect, and genuine human interaction at every turn. The security guards have been friendly and helpful. The concierge man Jon went out of his way to be inviting, inclusive, and personalize information sharing. But the most outstanding were the bar staff on Saturday night. Mike and Nora had this incredible ability to balance customer orders, bar prep, food delivery, jokes, individualized interactions, and keeping the bar clean/ tidy. My husband spent hours joking with them, slowly sipping on different drinks, and appreciating their professional skills. There were multiple

Really enjoyed this place located in the Artic Hotel. The Polar bar is a classy, old school bar that offers comfortable seating in a fantastic atmosphere. The drinks were well crated and the service was great. My favorite was the Top Hat Sampler as I enjoy a variety of small drinks. However, the Mountain is Out was fantastic. The parmesan truffle fries were a great accompaniment while having some drinks. Overall, it's a great space for drinks and the menu looked great for food. Will be back to try more of the menu and drinks.

Our whole stay and experience is exceptionally peaceful and amazing Food is great and all staff are helpful and very attentive. Thank you all!

I'm reviewing the hotel as a venue for the Candlelight Concert held there and the bar in the lobby. We didn't stay in the hotel or have food. Although the location can feel a little unsafe after dark, once you're on property, it felt fine. The entryway is very welcoming and was decorated for the holidays. We got there early so had a drink in the lobby. It was bustling as the concert was sold out. The bartenders were busy but friendly and got drinks quickly. The space for the concert on the second floor was gorgeous. Such a cool room and amplified by the candles and low lighting. I'd definitely come back for another event here.

The staff definitely leave something to be desired. I found them a mixture of condescending and rude. We requested early check in and where informed our room was not ready. Than watched them check in couple after couple. 2.5 hours later we got our early check in. A whole 15 minutes early. This was after it supposedly took them 45 minutes to clean the room. Now on to the room. The room was modestly sized with furniture shoved into every available space. The floors are plastic and cold. TV lost connection no less than 5 times forcing us to miss a few minutes of the show to reboot it. The best part was the bed. Very comfy bed. The comforters they provide are not designed for tall people though. The bathroom was not great. The shower is small with a temp control that sticks causing jumps in water temp. From luke warm to scalding quickly. For men beware the toilet. The water level is so high if you have to sit down to potty you will need to squat or parts might find themselves taking a swim in murky waters if you know what i mean. I would have normally told the staff all of this but the icy frosting on this stay was check out where the staff gave no greeting, didn't ask how the stay was or even express any positive sentiment towards us. In a city full of places to stay don't be fooled by there advertised low price. You end up with a low price experience for a high price in your check book.

I tried to explain that people were right behind us and it wasn't safe to block egress but the people at the front desk said that it wasn't a problem. My husband just needed to block traffic and unload our things then wait for a valet driver to appear. I asked if we could upgrade our room to a club level but was informed that they have no ability to do so at the front desk and haven't for some time. I was very disappointed at this. It would have been one thing if they were booked but just flat out denial just because felt somehow personal (even if it wasn't actually). I went back out to the entrance to see if I could spot my husband and made him stop. Soon after a valet arrived and said he should park the car perpendicular to the other cars so he would have somewhere to park. This would have effectively blocked both the valet cars and the through traffic lanes. He then asked if we were going to do valet parking. I told him "not any more!" This hotel charges $69 a night for valet and the self parking isn't worlds cheaper but it definitely felt worth it to have our car placed carefully by us and not left in the care of the person who felt perpendicular/blocking through traffic was a good idea. Meanwhile I found our room that has a persistent sound of whistling when the heating is on and I found that the bathroom, while beautiful had a rather unappealing quality. When you use the toilet you are looking directly into a rather large mirror. When taken all together it makes for a rather disappointing experience. I don't think I will stay at any Hyatt again. There are other options that are pleasant and clean and well thought out nearby.

I don't expect that exact thing every time, but when staying at a premium hotel like this, little things really make the experience a lot more enjoyable. It felt starkly different this time in terms of the service and generosity -- much more generic. - My room was far noisier than my previous visit. The provided shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion worked well and had a nice light citrusy scent. There was a Keurig machine in the room; not my jam but helpful in a pinch. We always got stocked with dark roast coffee pods, which is my preference, whoo. Also an empty mini fridge which we were able to use for beverages and leftovers. The 7th floor has a nice little seating area outside the bar where I was able to get some quiet work done one weekday, and the outdoor terrace offers a mountain view on clear days. The fitness center is small: just two treadmills, one recumbent bike, an elliptical, a peloton, and many dumbbells, but I had no problem getting a treadmill run in each morning before 9 am. Water bottle fillers on floors 1 and 4 were super convenient, too. The valet parking is very convenient but pricy. You might want to check Spot Hero or similar to see if you can get a better deal on parking nearby. Literally the first building you see when you leave the train station and right next to the entrance to the Seattle Stadium. Staff was friendly, though advertising a $9 bottle of Smart Water and giving your guests a complimentary check-in bottle of Dasani feels like a bad choice. Would probably have gone down better to give the Smart Water and advertise it as $9 to give it an added value. My main issue was not being warned before arrival that there was an ongoing strike by employees of the hotel. There was a flyer at the desk at check-in going over it, but no one prewarned us that the striking employees started at 6:30am with drums, a megaphone, sirens, whistles, and shouting. This was fully audible in the room. Due to the World Cup, there was no option to relocate to another hotel. When we left the hotel in the morning of the match, members of the protest got very aggressive and in my face, screaming about checking out and demanding a refund. Again, not a practical option. I have nothing against workers rights, but screaming at people who didn't know and don't have another choice isn't doing any favors. This must have happened more than once, because the front door was locked the remainder of the day and guests directed to other doors. The room was dusty, likely as a result of the strike. The sliding barn doors were insufficient to offer privacy while using the toilet or showering. Breakfast was pretty good. I went with Embassy Suites based on past experiences and convenience and I wish I had been aware of the strike because I would have made different choices. Hilton and Embassy Suites should address the concerns of their employees, if for nothing more than guest experience.

Our last two nights of our journey were spent in Seattle at the Shafer Baillie mansion. I would highly recommend staying here. The location was great for getting to downtown and all around. It is close to the Cap Hill neighborhood with shops and restaurants. There is plenty of street parking in the vicinity. The mansion itself is part of what was known as Millionaire's Row. It was built in 1914 and has been well cared for over the years. When we came back from one evening out, we all gathered in the Library and set up some charcuterie and wine to share from our travels. It was so cozy sitting all together and chatting about our adventures. The rooms are historic with modern conveniences. Our room was the Queen Ann Hill. We slept soundly in our comfortable 4 poster bed. There was a helpful step stool for me to climb up as I am vertically challenged. It has original pushbotton light switches. It had a beautiful full length mirror. There was a flatscreen TV, but we had so many wonderful activities we did not use it. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the historic look. There were two showerheads in the tiled shower. Breakfast was lovely. I, personally, have a great deal of food allergies. There was ample selection that I was able to enjoy just as much as anyone else. There were breads and pastries, jams and spreads, yogurt and fresh berries, and a hot breakfast dish. Hard boiled eggs were available as well as cheeses and meats. There was a coffee bar that was available all day that also had tea and cocoa. We sat at the long dining table enjoying each others company and conversation. We got to meet some of the other guests which added to the experience. If we find ourselves back in Seattle, this is where I will want to stay.

The greeters always opened the door for me, the check-in desk staff were courteous and always had a smile, and the checkout process was also quick and ended with an invitation to return to the property the next time I'm in Seattle. As soon as I stepped out of my Uber upon initial arrival, a staff member walked up to open my door and asked if I needed help with my bags. My room was comfortable in every aspect. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years. I would wholeheartedly stay here again!

Hats off and compliments to the Four Seasons Seattle staff and management! This hotel is an excellent choice for those wanting to stay in a waterfront property that's walkable to the cruise terminal as well. Though Four Seasons is not the most cost effective option for a comfortable hotel in downtown Seattle, I highly recommend this hotel based on my recent experience in June 2025. Where to start.... Location, location, location! The hotel is literally a block away from the entrance to Pike Place Market where you can spend days shopping, snacking, and enjoying the views of the water. The views from the hotel room are breathtaking as the Great Wheel (Ferris wheel) and Aquarium are just a few minutes away by foot. From the Four Seasons, we were able to walk to Chinatown in under 30 min (you can also take the train just 2 stops down) and Seattle Center where the Space Needle is located is also walkable and also accessible via monorail. The staff greets you at the door every time you enter and exit, and the lobby is full of surprises like premium coffee and tea in the mornings and a candy bar in the afternoon. Every time our room was serviced, it was done to perfection and then some. The chat function on the app was amazing as I was able to make requests and ask questions with ease. Responses were close to immediate. At the front desk and concierge, staff are also very friendly and treated us with respect and honor. They also provided great advice for food and sightseeing options close by. They never tried to sell me stuff where they would make money off of it. I could go on and on, but I have to say that my family's experience was extremely memorable, and if I could give this place 6 stars, I would. If you're looking for the optimal location for breathtaking views, seconds away from Pike Place Market, and still walkable to the Space Needle, Chinatown, the Convention Center, etc., this is it, y'all!
