We recently came here for the first time to see the candlelight concert of ABBA vs Queen. I have never experienced anything like this. I had goosebumps it was so good! I have been telling everyone about this experience. And have now made plans to go back next month with friends to hear Fleetwood Mac!! I highly recommend this experience!!!

Beautiful vintage hotel with great rooms and a super attentive staff. My stay was excellent. My only drawback is the location, nothing is really nearby other than a Starbucks on the next block. I realize they can't help this but they were dog friendly and the building g has a very interesting history.

The Arctic Club is a gorgeous slice of Seattle history wrapped in Beaux-Arts elegance (and a few walrus heads for flair). Our fifth-floor room faced Cherry Street--the same side where Congressman Marion Zioncheck met his untimely end in 1936. Thankfully, our stay was all comfort and zero ghosts. The room was spotless, cozy, and came with a minibar we admirably ignored. The highlight of our visit was the Candlelight Quartet's Halloween Classics concert in the Dome Room. The ambiance was incredible--haunting in the best way--and you can even order drinks and snacks during the show. Bonus points for that. Fun fact: scenes from Stephen King's Rose Red were filmed here! Afterward, we grabbed dinner in the bar and lounge. My crispy Brussels sprouts with shishito peppers were amazing, while my husband's Caesar salad played it safe. I enjoyed a glass of Noughty non-alcoholic sparkling wine, which paired perfectly with the historic vibes. All in all, a fantastic experience that blends history, charm, and just enough spookiness to make it memorable. Can't wait to come back!

I woke up to alerts on my phone to unauthorized charges and realized it was the hotel that I'm currently staying at the Arctic Club Hotel I went to the front desk to find out why at 1:13 a.m. and my being charged an additional $75 they told me that that is the fee for valeting as a guest. This is posted nowhere and never do they tell you I will never stay here again or trust giving this hotel my card information this is theft and fraud by all accounts!!!

What a remarkable place to stay! The staff were some of the nicest people I've met, so the service was spectacular. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you've stepped into a Film Noir, with the Art Deco design and little hidden pieces from the past, such as old top hats, in addition to all the photographs. The room itself was nice and clean, with a very comfortable bed, a stocked minibar, and French-press coffee. What blew me away was the food and cocktails. I wasn't expecting such delicious, well-crafted food and drink. I'm so sad I only got to spend two nights there. I can't wait to go back!

I had a great stay at the Arctic club. The service was excellent, breakfast met my needs, and the room was beautiful. My only issue is that the lighting in the room was so dim that couldn't see well to read or work and by the closet there was so little light that I couldn't see my clothes or shoes.

We had a great stay at the Artic Club! Room was very large and clean. I loved that they had robes to relax in too. We enjoyed happy hour in the lobby by the fireplace - ambiance was 10/10 in the lobby! They have a pool table and great bar. Everything was also very walkable! We walked to lunch and dinner with friends. Had a great stay and worth the money!

The Arctic Club Hotel has such a cool, classic vibe--the décor is beautiful and gives that historic, timeless feel. The bed was super comfortable, probably one of the best I've slept in at a hotel. We did arrive late and unfortunately there was no doorman on duty, which made things a little tough getting in with a lot of luggage. The bar staff started off a bit rude, but to their credit, they warmed up and the service improved by the end. Overall, it's a unique and stylish place with great comfort, just a couple of small hiccups with service.

Great hotel stay at Arctic Hotel in Seattle! This historic hotel had loads of charm and friendly, interesting staff. Never figured out the walrus connection, but enjoyed all the arctic animal references! Had fish and chips and a fabulous cocktail at the bar - the selection of cocktails was extensive and creative! Excellent bar program! Maybe a little pricey (fish and chips was $30), but that's probably pretty on par for Seattle. Fish and chips was delicious with what I think was a house-made tartar sauce and some AMAZING apple slaw! Fries were made with duck fat I think, and very tasty! Bed was comfortable, room was a nice size and there were plenty of in-room amenities (though not a fridge). Breakfast was FREE (made up for the $30 fish and chips!) and was once of the best free breakfasts I've had, with well-seasoned food and an incredible selection of fresh fruit! Would stay here again!

Vintage Hotel in Seattle! We normally stay at the Marriott that is close to the stadiums when we come to Seattle for events but they were booked! I found the Arctic not too far away and it looked great so we took a chance and booked a night. Location: From the King Street Train station you can take the 1 line subway 1 stop to Pioneer Square and you're at the door of the hotel so that is amazing. Check in: normally we've been able to take the train up and get into a room early afternoon even with a 4pm check in, Arctic did not have rooms ready when we arrived at noon. No big deal, check in wasn't till 4 anyway. The lobby is large and lots of little seating areas, it's dark but the moodiness fits the era of the building! They kept our bags and we went to find lunch and came back around 2:30 and checked again, they moved us to a different room that was ready to get us in sooner so that was awesome! Some hotels have that texting notice to let you know the room was ready. That would have been nice but definitely not a deal breaker! The room: So well done for a vintage hotel! Building said remodel in 2008?, built in 1914 (1916?) and I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the room was. Comfortable beds. Down pillows. Super cute bathroom. The cabinet with fridge and coffee is awesome although it rattles some. Sitting area with chairs and a desk. Big windows with full room darkening curtains. One thing - bathroom door has a glass window in it. It's textured so not completely see through but for teenage girls They were a little weirded out by that. "don't look mom!" Breakfast: Wow. Typical hotel free breakfast is pretty meh. This one is included at no additional cost and excellent. Check my videos! The eggs and sausage were great. Worlds above other free hotel breakfast. This is definitely my new favorite hotel in Seattle and will stay here every time we come for a show or a game!

What a wonderful hotel! Booked a one night stay for my partners birthday, and the experience was fantastic. Room was clean and comfortable, service was great, and everyone working here was kind and welcoming. We were surprised by the amazing food at the polar bar and the free breakfast. (Free breakfast is rare to begin with, but the food they offered was so high quality!) Highly suggest staying here if you're ever in Seattle.

Customer service is 8/5 stars. Everyone goes above and beyond to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. There are personalized touches, evidence of respect, and genuine human interaction at every turn. The security guards have been friendly and helpful. The concierge man Jon went out of his way to be inviting, inclusive, and personalize information sharing. But the most outstanding were the bar staff on Saturday night. Mike and Nora had this incredible ability to balance customer orders, bar prep, food delivery, jokes, individualized interactions, and keeping the bar clean/ tidy. My husband spent hours joking with them, slowly sipping on different drinks, and appreciating their professional skills. There were multiple

I would like to give the hotel 4.5 but no such ranking is available. The only reason why the stay was not perfect is basically the area where the hotel is located. Sadly, Seattle has a really bad homeless population and the Arctic is across the street where they camp and do drugs. The view is great from the hotel...unless you look down to street level. OK, the hotel itself is awesome and the staff excellent. We arrived WAYYY early from a cruise ship and planned a couple of extra days in town to site see and catch a Mariner's game. We were going to walk everywhere as its close to Pioneer Square, Pikes Market and both Lumen and T-Mobile park. However, after seeing the sketchiness of the area, we took a lot of ride share services, especially at night. It was too early to get in to our room (10A), so we left our luggage with the hotel, walked around a little outside, grabbed lunch, and later played pool near the Polar Bar until the room was ready (it was ready a little early too). Later we found out that pool table was over 100 years old! We had booked a classic King, but I'm positive that they upgraded us for free. They put us in a large, corner room King that had a whirlpool tub and was definitely at least 100 square feet larger than the classic room. Amazing room! Again the view was great...until you looked down. Not the hotel's fault though. We ate their continental breakfast buffet both mornings there and it was good. They were running out of certain items during the first day, but we came down at the same time with I think every other person who was staying there. The 2nd day we were way earlier and it was stocked well. We ate dinner once at the bar, food was fresh and good. The bartender and one server were working very hard to get orders out and somehow managed between the two of them. Other than normal city scape sounds (sirens, traffic, etc) the room was quiet and easy to sleep in. The doorman was attentive when we came and went - frankly I'm glad they have him there. He added a safety component for the block. The front desk was also nice and didn't mind any silly questions we had. Check out was smooth and honestly, we wouldn't mind staying here again. Really cool, historic hotel.

There's only a small area for parking in front of the hotel and it's also the spot for Valet. You'll likely have to post up in the travel lane to check in or drop off your car. The hotel has some unique amenities but I wasn't able to use them for such a short stay. The King corner room far exceeded my expectations. It's spacious and felt pretty luxurious. The star of the room is the soaking tub. It's deep and the water is hot. I especially liked that there's a separate shower. The workspace is nice and there are plenty of plugs for everything. The Nespresso comes stocked and is free to use. The mini bar, not so much, and it's pretty pricy. The bed. THE BED! If I could have brought it home with me I would have. It's lush and it smelled good. Like fresh dryer sheets good. I don't think I've ever said that about a hotel bed before. If you need a firm bed you won't like this one. I didn't have much interaction with the staff but when I did it was pleasant. I am definitely staying here again.

One stand out is the gentleman at Rosebay craft cocktails serving wine at the 3 o'clock hour. He was exceptional.

I had a great stay at The Sound Hotel Seattle Belltown and would definitely consider staying here…read moreagain. I booked it partly because it's part of Hilton's Tapestry Collection, so I could earn and redeem Hilton Honors points. That was a huge plus since I was visiting during the World Cup and hotel prices were absolutely wild: close to $800 a night if I had paid out of pocket! The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. There was a bellman opening the door, everyone we interacted with was friendly and accommodating, and it was always easy to grab an Uber right outside the hotel. One feature I really liked was the little pantry in the lobby. It's basically a self-service convenience store stocked with local candy, snacks, wine, beer, and other treats. You scan everything yourself and can charge it directly to your room, which was super convenient. We used our HHonors stay credit to buy a small bottle of Washington State wine and some local chocolates. The hotel has a really fun music theme throughout, and the design is modern with a Scandinavian-inspired feel. As a Gen Xer, I thought the vibe was just plain cool without trying too hard. Our standard King room had huge windows, a spacious sitting area, and clean, minimalist European-style décor that felt fresh and comfortable. The hotel itself was also surprisingly quiet despite being located in an urban area, so we slept really well. The only disappointment was our view. It wasn't much to look at. I was secretly hoping for an upgrade, but no luck. Not a deal breaker, just a minor letdown considering one side of the hotel affords perfect views of the Space Needle. The location is excellent for sightseeing on foot. We walked to Pike Place Market in about 10 minutes, and the Space Needle was also around a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction. Just be prepared for Seattle's hills! They're no joke, and you'll be going up and down some very, very steep streets to get to the waterfront. There are also plenty of great restaurants, bars, shops, and coffee shops within easy walking distance. One thing I'd mention is that while we felt comfortable during the day, after dinner around 10:45 p.m. we decided to take an Uber back from the Pike Place Market area instead of walking back to the hotel because parts of the area felt a little sketchy at night. Seattle has a very serious problem with drug users and unhoused folks, and they can get a little scary. I feel so badly for them, but I also felt a lot safer in an Uber than trying to walk back in the downtown area that late at night. The Sound is a stylish, comfortable hotel with excellent service, a great location, and a fun personality. If you're a Hilton Honors member, it's an especially solid choice when Seattle hotel prices are high.

The room is much more spacious than pictures can show. I really enjoyed the two separate seating areas. The window area settee was the perfect place for a snack and using my laptop to prepare for the next day. The closet has more than just two hangers, which I appreciated being able to hang the clothes that needed to be hung and steamed later. The bed was soft, but not overly so and the charging options on the nightstand helped me keep some of my electronics packed and neat. Being in Downtown Seattle, I really didn't feel like I needed a car. The Sound is situated in a great place to just walk where I needed to go. Less than five minutes away from Westlake where I could catch either the monorail or Link, was very convenient for me. I enjoy walking around to get familiar with the area I'm in and there was so much to see!!! I will be back to The Sound for my next Seattle adventure!

Our last two nights of our journey were spent in Seattle at the Shafer Baillie mansion. I would highly recommend staying here. The location was great for getting to downtown and all around. It was built in 1914 and has been well cared for over the years. When we came back from one evening out, we all gathered in the Library and set up some charcuterie and wine to share from our travels. It was so cozy sitting all together and chatting about our adventures. The rooms are historic with modern conveniences. Our room was the Queen Ann Hill. We slept soundly in our comfortable 4 poster bed. There was a helpful step stool for me to climb up as I am vertically challenged. It has original pushbotton light switches. It had a beautiful full length mirror. There was a flatscreen TV, but we had so many wonderful activities we did not use it. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the historic look. There were two showerheads in the tiled shower. Breakfast was lovely. I, personally, have a great deal of food allergies. There was ample selection that I was able to enjoy just as much as anyone else. There were breads and pastries, jams and spreads, yogurt and fresh berries, and a hot breakfast dish. Hard boiled eggs were available as well as cheeses and meats. There was a coffee bar that was available all day that also had tea and cocoa. We sat at the long dining table enjoying each others company and conversation. We got to meet some of the other guests which added to the experience. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years.
