We went to Lotus for my birthday. We arrived at 8:35 they closed at 9. He welcomed us in didn't mention they were closing and got our food out so quickly the ramen was delicious especially the charred pork, I loved my garlic shrimp, they were amazing. My son ate all his chicken. Overall a great experience and they were so fast.

My mom and I were craving ramen so we stopped by for early dinner one night. The restaurant was pretty empty, so we were seated quickly. There was AC inside which was so nice. I ended up needing to grab a jacket. We ordered pork gyoza, fried tofu, and tonkotsu ramen to share. The food was delicious and the service was fast. Loved the dipping sauces that came with both the gyoza and tofu. I always love the soft boiled eggs that come with ramen. Perfectly cooked. We spent a total of $45.71 including tax and tip. It's worth coming here if you need a little break from Hawaiian food, like we did!

found this gem on the way to the airport and so glad we did. we wanted to grab a bite before heading out and ran into this place. we were quickly seated and we asked about their recommendations. we were told that roasted pork was their specialty, so we opted for the ramen and rice plate version. and within minutes of ordering, the food came out quick. food was very flavorful and the pork was thinly sliced and had a good crunch to it. the person working there was also very nice.

For our last night in Kauai, we couldn't decide where to eat. Since it was a little chilly outside, we decided ramen sounded like the perfect choice so we gave this place a shot. We started with the pork gyoza, which was very good. For ramen, we ordered Tantan w/ oven-roasted pork belly, Shoyu Ramen w/ marinated chicken and Shoyu Ramen w/ slow braised pork belly. Everything was flavorful and it definitely hit the spot. The restaurant wasn't busy when we there and the artwork on the walls was impressive and added to the atmosphere. Friendly service, great food, and we left with full bellies. We will definitely be back.

An awesome find that we happened to stop by. Before I get into it let's just say that is was so good we ate there 2 days in a row. What's the deal? Roast duck just like you had in San Francisco cooked by a chef from China. It was awesome. Kalbi short ribs that were moist mouth watering just like your favorite K-BBQ. The crispy pork belly was another "just like" Chinatown SF. All in all a great find when you're in the mood for really good Chinese specialty food.

Crispy pork ramen - tan tan style

High quality ramen at a reasonable price! The ramen is a bit more expensive than other places. The crispy pork goes well with the tan tan style ramen. The shrimps are big, fresh, and juicy. Unfortunately, the tonkatsu style ramen had a foul taste so we didn't eat it. It had the taste of a wet sheep or mildew. I would know because we just came from a farm and it has been storming the past few days. Avoid the tonkatsu style ramens at all cost. Overall, recommended!

This place was amazing! The ramen was delicious! Staff were quick and friendly and the food was out quick. The place itself looks small on the outside but has plenty of seating. Ordered the shoyu ramen with the oven roasted pork and the tonkotsu. Neither disappointed. Toppings were great too. Definitely would be back to eat here again!

Don't miss out on this little gem! I'm literally sitting in the restaurant as I write this. I got the shoyu ramen with the oven roasted pork belly. My son got the tonkatsu ramen with the same. The dishes came out super fast. The place is clean, the wait staff is friendly and funny. Can't miss with this spot.

My coworker and I weren't sure where to eat for lunch and stumbled upon Lotus Ramen & Hibachi while browsing Yelp. The place was easy to find, which was a relief since we weren't familiar with the area, and pretty hungry at that point. I ordered the Seafood Ramen with shoyu broth, and it did not disappoint. The bowl came loaded with squid, mussels, shrimp, and one full boiled egg (halved). The broth was light and super delicious - really hit the spot on a chilly day. The noodles were pretty standard, nothing extraordinary, but still tasty and exactly what I was craving. The portion size was perfect for the weather we were having - filling without being too heavy. My coworker got the same Seafood Ramen but opted for the tantan broth instead, and he really enjoyed his choice too. It's nice that they offer different broth options so you can customize your bowl. We arrived for a really late lunch and there were plenty of tables open - just us and one other table during the late hour. The quiet, relaxed atmosphere was perfect. The staff was very attentive despite the quiet period. They even thoughtfully provided and extra plate for our mussel shells without us having to ask, and they had no problem accommodating separate checks for us. The whole experience was seamless and satisfying. I'd definitely go back again!

Tonkatsu ramen with oven roasted pork belly and added spice. Also the 10/10 Gyozas

The service, amazing. Loved him. Very kind guy. We ordered the tonkatsu with oven roasted pork belly added spice for a spicy ramen. Wasn't very spicy .... The pork very delicious If you're a ramen snob, you'll be very disappointed. If you're not, then you might think it's just great. We have a lot of ramen all the time.. and this was very low on the ladder. Okay but listen, the pan fried gyoza.. Please don't pass this up. Some of the best I've ever had and that's also saying a lot. Like a 9/10 They do not serve alcohol but you can BYOB no problem and the guy kindly suggested the shell gas station next door to pick out alcoholic beverages, which was nice because they were also cheap! Overall, craving ramen? give it a go mate!

Beautiful colorful art inside restaurant and very clean place.

Popular menu items include ahi katsu 10/10, chili pepper chicken 9/10, and Hawaii's own- loco moco (not a huge fan in general). They offer a variety of other options, including poke, ramen, and sandwiches, with convenient takeout and delivery available. It's definitely a local favorite due to its generous portions, authentic Hawaiian cuisine and friendly service. We ordered the fried chicken and poke combo with wonton chips and the ahi katsu (my absolute fav). The ahi was fried to perfection- crispy on the outside while rare and tender on the inside. The sauce on the katsu was absolutely fire!!! So good! Macaroni salad was creamy and delicious. And the rice was perfect. Obviously, you cannot visit Hawaii without having some of their poke- always fresh and delightfully tasty. The marinade was savory and packed with flavor.

Its right off a main road and you cannot miss it. Parking lot was a bit small, but there was plenty of parking. AMBIANCE: When I went there was plenty of seating. A bit dead, but I also did go pretty early. There were a bunch of decor of older American pop culture like Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, etc. But also Hawaiian themed decor (obviously). SERVICE: You gotta walk up to the front to order. I was approached almost immediately as soon as I walked up to the menu on the screen. The girl working was super friendly and welcoming. I made my order and she gave me a pager for when my food was ready. FOOD: I ordered the chili pepper chicken, which was recommended from the girl at the counter. My friend ordered the ahi katsu. The chili pepper chicken was good! It was crispy and extremely flavorful. It was slightly too salty for my taste, but luckily the rice does help balance it out. Some of the crispness was sacrificed for the sauce, but it was overall still pretty crispy. I loved that they used boneless chicken thigh. I was expecting bones or lots of breading but it actually had a perfect ratio. I wasn't much a fan of the mac salad. It was like a mix of mac and potato salad, but more like a potato salad. I'm not big on potato salad, so that makes sense. My friend's ahi katsu was alright in my opinion. The sauce that's on it was good and enjoyed all the flavors. The tuna was just a bit overcooked to my liking, but idk how else one would make a katsu without overlooking it too much. Maybe bread the fish and freeze it before frying? Idk man, I'm not a chef lol but the tuna would definitely be better if it was less cooked. OVERALL: Honestly, I would still come here again. I still enjoyed the meal and the service was pretty quick. Both items were both worth trying. All the flavors were there and the little things I didn't like were just personal preferences. Its a great place to pick up a lunch plate and enjoy it at the beach.
