My family and I ordered Chicken Satay, Basil Fried Rice, Pad Thai, and Panang Curry with Chicken. Every dish was delicious, flavorful, well-balanced, and served hot. The Panang Curry stood out with its rich flavor and generous amount of fresh chicken. It also came with a side of rice. Prices are very reasonable for both the quantity and quality of the food. Service was excellent, the staff cleared dishes promptly, kept our water glasses filled, and the food arrived quickly. In the span of two weeks, visited this place twice because the vegetarian food was delicious. The avocado tofu green curry is a standout - smooth, creamy and flavorful. The portion is decent, good enough for sharing. The tofu lettuce wraps were good, but best had fresh. I liked that this place had many vegetarian options including tom yum and tom kha soups. I will always compare Moo Yang to the recipe from Thai House in Modesto, since that is still by far the best I've ever had. The flavor is good but not great. The portions are just really small, I could tell the second they handed the bag over. For $22 you get 4 pieces of pork and idk maybe a quarter cup of sticky rice. Delicious Thai food. Menu with all the classic dishes, executed with perfection. The flavors were good, and very well balanced. The ingredients tasted fresh and vegetables were nice and crisp-not overcooked. We got the papaya salad- EXCELLENT. We also got the chicken basil with minced chicken and over easy egg on top-DELICIOUS! I highly recommend sticky rice with this dish rather than the white jasmine rice. The sticky rice soaks up all the flavors nicely. The subtle sweetness and of the sticky rice also enhances all the vegetables in this dish. It's very good classic Thai food overall. I tried this establishment, for the first time, today. It was a stellar experience. The interior is fairly bland and, at the time, I was the only seated customer. My company was a bouncy elevator song buzzing through some hidden speakers and a flat screen fixed to an animated cup of tea. I ordered the pumpkin curry with chicken, which I asked for in medium in terms of the spice level. I added a pinch of chili sauce and, together, it made for a perfect tongue strike -- and a nice complement to the plump pieces of potato. The server was amiable and responsive. The phone, both landline and cell, buzzed persistently. This told me two things: 1) This local joint was popular 2) The lack of socialization that was a hallmark of the pandemic has raged on unabated as a large majority continue to favor grab-and-go over the communal experience of eating in a room with neighbors and visitors. Note: This review is for a DoorDash order. Wow! The food arrived hot like it was supposed to. Tonight, we ordered Som Tom, Pad See Ew, Pumpkin Curry and Chicken Satay. The Som Tom had a wonderful amount of lime. Thank you, Lotus Thai! It would have been just a little better with a little more fish sauce and just one Thai chili sliced/diced/chopped and spread throughout the dish. The chicken satay was overcooked and very dry but the side peanut sauce was flavorful and the cucumber and red onion side salad was good enough for my 22 month old to take the container and drink the sauce. The pumpkin curry was my ABSOLUTE favorite! The dish arrived perfectly hot as in temperature. The spice was a perfect medium heat, and all the vegetables were perfectly cooked. This is such a good dish that I can't wait to order it again! As for the Pad See Ew, just like the Som Tom it needed a little bit of fish sauce and a little bit of spice so that it tasted like something. However, I'm glad that the food tasted fresh. As I am finishing this pumpkin curry, I'm seriously thinking about the next time I'm going to order this delicious dish. I have been going to Lotus Thai for years now. The food is great and always get great service. Especially from Kat who has been waiting on me most of this time. Highly recommend this place for great authentic Thai food and friendly service. There is a recent review from "Isaiah A" which is absolute rubbish. Not tipping is not cool. Servers work so hard in general and your slanderous review does not represent this restaurant or Kat at all having been probably more than 40 times. You do not even have her name right. Large portion, but this was more of a soup. * Eggplant & Basil w/chicken [$13.50, 5.0 stars] -- stir-fried with bell pepper, carrot, onion, and fresh basil in a "mildly spicy roasted-chili sauce." I am a somewhat frequent customer and enjoy their food, however, my recent order was very disappointing. I ordered a soup from the menu that was almost $18 (a mild soup with broth and noodles) and it was missing virtually all of the glass noodles. It was basically broth with minimal veggies and chicken and VERY minimal noodles. The noodles were so limited that I ended up adding rice from home to give it more substance. Previously when ordering this soup it comes with what I'd say is the appropriate amount of noodles. When stirring to find them in the container, there were maybe 10! And they are VERY thin / small. For nearly $18 and the size of the container, I think there should be more noodles. There was so much broth! read more

I stopped by to this restaurant yesterday for Lunch. The waitress/host looks like she was a big rush even just me and another customer were in the restaurant. I ordered my food and dessert. She brought me the dessert in the middle of my meal , when I was ready to eat my ice cream it was half way melted. I didn't like that. And even worst while I was still eating it she showed up with the Bill, she put it on the table and she was ready to use her little machine for payment I was a little irritated about the ice cream situation and I told her "I'm not really yet to pay , I'll let you know", I noticed on her face a little attitude and she walk away without saying anything. I'll give her/you a little advice about customer services skills "WHEN YOU BRING BILL TO CUSTOMERS YOU ALWAS says "No Rush when ever you ready " , I hope you /she learn something from this. The highlight of this dish was the salad and sticky rice. Both delicious. 2. Tofu Pad Thai {4/5 stars, $12} - Decent taste, nothing too special, above average Pad Thai. 3. Drunken Noodles {3.5/5 stars, $12} - Not very spicy as other Ive tried. Honestly, a disappointment as this is one of my favorites from any Thai restaurant. Noodles were cooked well, but was lacking in flavor and heat. Service: Online order, was ready on time. No complaints. Food was packaged nicely with air tight containers. So no spills. Thats a plus. Inside: Very small and tight. Only a handful of tables that are arm lengths away from others. Overall: A little disappointed in taste and flavor, but may come back and try some additional meals. We got all our dishes with tofu because one of our friends are vegetarian, and although I'm not vegetarian, the dishes were still so satisfying and the tofu was great.
