What a little gem in town. It is a rare Asian fusion brunch in the San Ramon which just expanded their breakfast service. Food was amazing. Service was excellent. Price was very reasonable. I am bored with the traditional American breakfast. It had freshening up my taste bud. The crab egg benedict doesn't have the greasy crab cake like other. The hollandaise sauce is not heavy. They opt for a round toast instead of English muffin. It made the entire dish tastes better. My DH ordered the lobster benedict. Again instead of English muffin, it surprised us with waffle. No soggy feeling when eating with soft boiled eggs and sauce. The Vietnamese coffee is very authentic. Pancake and waffle are amazingly fluffy. Love the buttery maple syrup. This restaurant is definitely suitable for girl night out, family gathering and school booster banquet. Nice interior design with a lot of photo spots. We will definitely return.

Our family was planning a surprise birthday lunch for my mom's milestone birthday and Pearl, the owner, happily acknowledged and accepted my request and guided me along the way to plan a lovely birthday lunch for about 30 people or so. The ambiance of the place was bright, inviting, spacious enough for a family gathering (there were about 30 people in our party) and everyone was able to be seated with enough room for the food catering and cake/gifts table. From the "Good Vibes Only" sign to the roses wall decorations, I was pleased with the whole simple yet lovely setup! Additionally, with 30 people grouped into families coming for the lunch, I was concerned with parking and the area where One House is, I believe there was still enough parking on a busy Saturday. Also, great landmark is that there is a 7-Eleven super nearby! One House closed the place for our private party for 3 hours. Next, there was a good enough amount of food for about 30 people (4 appetizers, 6 entrees--I am enticed to try more of their menu on a regular brunch outing and visit again), including unlimited drinks (water, sodas, thai tea, fruit green teas), while still having the separate mocktail menu available to our guests as separate charges). Everyone noted how lovely the food was. I chose a menu of a mixture of protein (chicken, fish, pork), and different types of dishes in noodles, soup-based menu items. Appetizers were refreshing and not too heavy--fresh avocado roll, coconut cream chicken soup, chicken satay, the house beet salad. The elegant dishes and cutlery were also highly appreciated! From conception of idea to the birthday lunch, Pearl and her team were incredible to make it a lovely day for my mon. From the logistics of attendance, menu, type of birthday cake, payment to even organizing the space for the birthday lunch, Pearl was helpful, thoughtful, and considerate. She was approachable, responsive, and thorough in her communication with me! I felt safe, secure, and aligned in choosing her cute brunch spot to celebrate my mom's milestone birthday! For one, my mom was surprised and it made even more special to celebrate with family there. Overall, everything was well thought out; thank you to Pearl and her wonderful team! Cannot wait to visit again and again and trying more items on the food and drinks menu! If a unique, intimate brunch place was a love language, One House speaks it fluently!

Absolutely amazing! I took my mom here for brunch on mother's Day and it was perfect! We had reservations so there was no wait. The space is on the small side but it's super cute. The staff was kind and friendly. And the food was excellent. I ordered the creme brulee French toast with caramelized bananas, bacon and eggs and a purple Oracle mocktail. My mom ordered the mixed berry pancakes, bacon, potatoes and the soju margarita. We also shared an order of the crab rangoon, And they gave my mom a slice of tiramisu in honor of mother's Day! We really enjoyed our food and I intend to come back so that I can try the Thai menu since the majority of our selections were from the brunch menu!

One House Bistro opened in a space vacated by Atown Pizza & Kabob House et al. Spectacular, new, glitzy, Instagrammable interior. Limited seating inside, one table outside. A fountain and a lounge chair is clickbait for pics, doesn't enhance dining experience. Got seated, ordered. Food came in 7ish minutes. Offerings (usual Thai + fusion): small plates, soups, desserts. Lunch/house/chef's specials, salads, One House spaghetti, curries, meat & seafood, fried rice & noodles, drinks, alcohol.. Bites: Apple's Sea Bass salad (26) -basically papaya salad upgraded with a deep fried sea bass, shredded apples, roasted coconut, nuts, red onions, scallions, house dressing. Dressing same as for papaya salad. -sea bass nicely fried, had moist bland flesh. Dipping it into dressing adds a bit flava. -salad fresh as there's plenty of crunch, veggies not tasted. Only tartness from onions/dressing tastable. -instagrammable. -1/2 thru, my eyes & stomach lost interest. Took rest to go. *service slow at times as only one server worked all the tables. Other server tabulated the tabs. 3.5 stars semi-worthy: YMMV. Quality: gimmicky. Tastelessness matters. Quantity: reasonable. **now I know why I hesitated coming here earlier. Nothing special. Fusion dishes so-so.

This is the second time I've come to One House Bistro. The decor is beautiful. The food is delicious. The one thing I found annoying at this lunch was trying to get the waitresses attentions. They get focused on what they are doing and aren't looking at the customers when they're walking around. When I finally got one waitress' attention, I asked for a replacement napkin since mine got blown off my lap by the air conditioner that was blowing pretty hard. She said okay. She walked away and then came back out with a customer's order and forgot about my napkin. It took her a while before she noticed me looking at her and realized she forgot to bring me my replacement napkin. She did finally bring me several napkins. It appears that parking may be harder to find close by the restaurant during peak hours because the restaurant is located in a strip mall that doesn't have a huge parking lot.

spending mother's day here. place is quite spacious and ambiance is great. staffs are nice and service is great. foods taste great. the crispy pork belly even though a bit salty but i will say a recommended food. kao soi is ok but need a bit more tender for the braised ribs. may be because of mother's day, a bit too long waiting for the foods and not all of them come at once...

Such a beautiful place very tea party boujee vibes. I love the service and the manager is super friendly. The food is very tasty as well.

The exterior does not do the interior decor justice. Faux flowers on the wall, fancy cutlery and utensils, Photo Booth wall op. Very romantic and date worthy kind of local restaurant. We ordered: -soft shell crab rice salad and the menu did not state that it has nuts. I'm allergic to nuts. But they were apologetic and made us a new one and still gave us the old one for my wife to eat. It was really delicious but mildly spicy. -sea bass - the sea bass was very slightly over-fried but the red curry was on point. -eggplant delight was good too. Alcoholic drink menu had wines and cocktails that were all soju based. Looked on Yelp photos and it does appear that they switch out their chef specials often. I can't wait to come back and try other items.

instagrammable interior, food was good but not impressive. Everything was okay except for the Mgic Noodle which was very salty.

I came here for my friend's birthday one day and I can see why it's so packed! I should've called for a reservation but we got seated fairly quickly. The interior of this place is unmatched by any other restaurant I've been to thus far. They even have a little fountain inside. I got the Roti w/ yellow curry - Delicious. The roti was soft and flaky. The curry was creamy and rich, yet not too heavy. Sweet and filled with coconut flavor. The blends of spices made me want to eat everything drenched with the curry. Chicken satay - The peanut sauce was delicious. Sweet and aromatic. The chicken was grilled to perfection and had a rather sweet glaze to it. Solid appetizer. One house platter- This was good, but you can probably skip this one. This dish is similar to Vietnamese plates that include vermicelli, grilled pork chops, and egg rolls. Everything was still delicious! It came with a lot of veggies and you can make lettuce wraps with all the goods it came with. It comes with shrimp tempura, chicken meat balls, egg rolls, and bbq pork. The bbq pork had a nice grill flavor and the chicken meat balls were tender. Overall, this place is a super solid spot for dinner with your family or even a date!

Passion Fruit Soju Cocktail

My gf and I decided to try this place and we made reservation, so we didn't wait long. We ordered fired fish, crispy rice salad, pork belly and papaya salad. It was all delish with decent portions. For dessert we went with caramelized banana with ice cream and it was just ok, nothing special. I wanted a cocktail, but they're still waiting for their liquor license so all they had was soju base cocktails. It was way too sweet for me. Overall great service, flavorful dishes, and cute decor.

Okay, I'll admit it One House Bistro totally threw me off at first. I'm so used to Thai restaurants being called Thai and "insert word here" like Garden, Orchid, or Palace, that I wasn't expecting a quaint little bistro tucked away in San Ramon with such a unique vibe. The moment we stepped in, I felt like I had wandered into a chic French pastry shop. The decor is cozy and elegant, the kind of spot where you sip tea and feel a little fancy. But make no mistake: this is solid, flavorful Thai food through and through. Let's get to the good stuff: the food. We tried two dishes and wow, they delivered. 1. BBQ Pork Lunch Special This is my go-to test dish at every Thai restaurant. Sometimes it's dry, overcooked, or portioned out like it's on a diet. Not here. Perfectly grilled, juicy, flavorful, and paired with a sweet dipping sauce that makes you want to slather it on everything. Comes with rice and salad, and yes leftovers are guaranteed (and proudly taken home). 2. Crispy Pork Belly with Mixed Veggies Listen. We've tried this dish at other places, and the portions were usually... let's just say "delicate." Not here! Thick, generous slices of crispy pork belly served hot and fresh, with crunchy veggies that balance the richness. This dish alone is enough to make us fans. Service? On point. Super friendly, fast, and consistent what more can you ask for? They were also accommodating with my wife who was celebrating her birthday and surprised her with some birthday treat and candles for her to blow All in all, One House Bistro was an unexpected and very welcome surprise. Great food, great service, cozy atmosphere, and generous portions. We'll absolutely be back. This bistro may not have "Thai" in the name, but it's definitely earned a spot on our Thai food go-to list!

We could either stand or sit at the bar area or sit on the side table with a family that had some kids because there was only one server working that night. So we decided to sit next to the family. Then when we asked for drinks, we were told that they were out of every single vodka they had. They had the same issue with the food. Everything was very limited and then they made the order wrong at that. Then they switched waiters and they double charged my friend and I for the bills. Horrible experience and I never will go back and this is not the first time there has been bad service with wrong orders before. I believe in giving chances because every restaurant can have a bad day, but this seems to be continuous and now they even have a very limited menu. Not worth my time, my money or anything there. Nothing is great. I also called and left a message for management and no one ever returned my call. Disappointing.

The place functions as a theater, bar, and restaurant. The bar and restaurant are merged into one, but there's plenty of space for both large and small groups. Wednesdays are their discount movie days, so definitely have to come back! Once we walked in, we were immediately greeted to choose our seats. Some were reserved, but the waitress let us know that it was actually open. The cuisine is mixed being mainly American, but with some Italian and Asian inspired items. The menu had a decent amount of everything from shareables to main dishes (pasta and meat) and rolls. It was more on the pricier side with the rolls ranging between $20-$28 and most of the main dishes being in the 30s. What we got: - Chicken Karaage: not your typical Japanese app, it was coated in a sesame oil dressing on a bed of greens and cucumber slices. pretty tasty and not dry - Rainbow Roll: a bit too much rice and wasn't very authentic, fish wasn't fresh - Wagyu Beef Burger: removing the mushrooms meant just meat bun and fried shallots ? meat had a great flavor but fries were salty and not $30 worth Our verdict was that the ambiance was nice and seemed more like people came for the drinks / atmosphere -- not for the food. I'd probably skip out on the food and just get the drinks or chicken karaage if I came back. Service was also just alright. Not much interaction from our waiter and it kind of just felt like we ordered and that was it?

We were seated immediately. Beautiful and spacious inside, customer service was good. We had the yellowtail for the appetizer (yummy!) and the chicken vermicelli and the lemongrass pork chop for our mains. The chicken was nice and tender with a nice char. Plenty of vegetables. Dipping sauce included. I asked for chili oil and they said they charge $3 for it. I have never heard of such thing. The lemongrass pork chop tasted good as well, nice sear to it and it was tender. No dipping sauce included, we had to ask for it. I wanted a Diet Coke but they said they don't serve sodas, only sparkling waters (I believe flavored ones). So we opted for just water instead. Our server was friendly and attentive. When the bill came I was surprised they automatically added a 20% tip for a party of 2. You don't normally see that for small parties, I also don't remember seeing it on the menu, maybe I overlooked it. Overall this was a nice place to have lunch, for the price point, however, I was expecting more flavor and bigger servings. It was definitely good but nothing spectacular. We paid $100 for 2 people including 1 iced coffee. I was told by my companion the iced coffee was okay. This place is at the lot so plenty of parking.

When we got home we immediately inhaled it. Loved how they separated the filling from the udon and packed the broth separately. Poached egg was creamy still and blended well with the beef and noodles. We came back again yesterday but wanted to actually dine in. There were no longer long lines from when we last dined in years ago. The line went smoothly and the lady was quick and efficient to take our orders and even gathered Hubs' take out rice bowl for later. The gal at the pick up windown was also proficient as her job and even telling me my clams and ginger udon had just ran out so she gave me a number for my table. The tempura station was always one of my favorites. They just ran out of imitation crab but we snagged the last shrimp tempura. Also got a sweet potato and my favorite, pumpkin . 4/5 crunchy not too oily and naturally sweet. No sauce needed We found a table right away which was wiped clean. DD was half way through her udon when mine barely arrived. After the first sip of broth, it quickly reminded me of why we haven't been back in so long. Warm soup vs piping hot. That's why. Fresh cooked clams and butter ginger melted into the broth was a nice change from the usual. The taste was great and flavorful. Clams were blanched nicely with a few unopened shells that I didn't eat. There was also a few with some sand inside which was expected for a fast foodie style place where clam is ordered. 3.5/5 The other downside from the overall dish for both of us was the over sprinkling of green onions. It left a literal bad taste in both our mouths. Clean restrooms. Overall, 3.5
