Very nice small town place. Would definitely recommend checking them out. It's too bad people are so over critical of everything anymore

Short of my bowling score, everything was great. Like many other Yelpers, we weren't impressed with the food but, let's remember where we are. Nachos were okay - it's Cheese Whiz (obv). Kids loved the mac & cheese bites - 6 to an order. The zucchini sticks were definitely overcooked, and we had to go up to specifically ask for the ranch that we paid extra for - but it's okay.

They also had an option to order food. DO NOT ORDER FOOD AHEAD! Once we arrived it took 30 minutes for the server to advise they cannot see the online orders. If that is the case, the option shouldn't be available. Once we ordered from the kiosk at your lane it took another 45 minutes to get 2 drinks, kids chicken nuggets, and sweet potato fries. Besides the food debacle, we were super impressed with the overall cleanliness of the alley and the arcade, and the condition of balls, shoes and lanes. I understand from other reviews it has been recently renovated. Great job! We will go again!

LOL. During one of my trips back home to visit friends, we all got together to bowl, much to my dislike but time with friends beats all that. During our time Ben and my friend Lisa got into a pretty competitive race with each other on who was going to win and well now it is their thing to joke with each other about. While Lisa was down visiting us earlier this year, a repeat game was very much on their to-do list. Maple Lanes is just a few miles down 19 from where we live so I planned a night for us all to go. Lisa is from a small town in Michigan so she was blown away when our ordered items came over to us from a "server robot". She still talks about how cool that was. It just makes me laugh at things like this because it really shows the differences of what I left behind in Michigan and what things just seem normal to me now in a larger city environment. We all had a great time together and Ben was all too pleased that he still holds that winning title between the two of them.

This place is packed with personality from every angle. Bowling balls are everywhere stacked, lined, and worked into the yard in ways that make you stop and stare. It feels like someone took a simple idea and just ran completely wild with it in the best way possible. Then you start noticing all the unexpected details: random statues scattered throughout the property, SpongeBob characters popping up in places you wouldn't expect, and CDs hanging from strings that catch the light and move with the breeze. It's like stepping into a fully DIY art installation where anything goes and more is more. What makes it so great is that nothing about it feels normal or restrained. It's loud, weird, colorful, and totally unique. Every time you look around, you notice something you didn't see before, which makes it feel like the house keeps changing as you explore it. Overall, the Bowling Ball House is pure creative chaos in the best way possible. It's fun, bizarre, and completely unforgettable a true local landmark that proves art doesn't have to make sense to be amazing.

Definitely the BEST decision we made!! From 9pm to closing at 12:30am, it was only $12.99/person for unlimited bowling, $1 pizza slices, hot dogs, fries and Pepsi. What an awesome deal!! FYI - this is a special deal ONLY on Mondays called Dollarmania! They do have special deals on certain days, you can see it on their website. Also, bowling shoe rentals and a pair of brand new socks, if needed are included in the price, which came in handy for 2 of us that wasn't wearing socks. Fair warning, this isn't your shiny brand new bowling alley. It's definitely nostalgic and giving old school vibes in the best way. There was fun music, friendly staff, and nonstop laughter echoing down the lanes, especially ours! It wasn't spotless, though the staff was on it. Cleaning, resetting and keeping things moving. By the end of the night, we had such a blast and so glad we came. If you're down for a fun packed night that won't break the bank.. I suggest PIN CHASERS! Side note if you haven't bowled in a while, your body will hurt the next day in a good way. LOL :)

Sometimes games are out of service, but it is not too challenging to locate an employee who is usually quick to fix things and refund your lost credits. My toddler often wants to go bowling, but he loses interest halfway through a game. The people working the front desk usually offer us a good deal where we only pay for the shoes and that is super helpful because I could not imagine paying over $30 to go bowling and having my son give up halfway through the first game. The prize shop has a solid variety of candies/treats and toys that are well priced for their ticketed value. Overall, for fortyish dollars my son and I have a pretty good time gaming for an hour and a half on an ordinary day.
