Had brunch here and Rory was our server. She was amazing. I had the burrito without the tortilla. It was absolutely delicious. My husband had the streak bowl (also delicious). Passing through town and decided to try Louie's. Very nice location and was greeted by friendly staff. Jaycee was our server and she was extremely nice and helpful and made excellent suggestions not only on food but their speciality drinks as well. Our table had the fried green beans which are a must and then my daughter had the Greek salad, son kids cheese pizza and my wife had the bacon ranch burger and I had the meatball pizza. Everything was served perfectly and tasted even better. We did sit outside which was the Cherry on top coming from snow in the morning. Their patio is very nice and comfortable. We have been to Louie's a few times but only for lunch. But service has always been great. We had Gracie serving us yesterday and she took great care of us. This time I had the Phillie cheesesteak sandwich and fries. My wife had the fish tacos. Both were outstanding. I had the strawberry lemonade which was ok. Would have been better if they had pieces of strawberry in the drink, like so many other places do. The atmosphere is nice, being that it is quiet enough that we could carry on a conversation. Prices might be a little pricey for lunch, but not to bad, considering the delicious food you get. I would definitely recommend Louie's for a tasty and rewarding lunch. read more

This entire Louie's West Side restaurant works their ever living asses off. It was an OU home game and I'm a resident high school football coach. I've been going here for 10+ years and it's as good as I've seen it. I came in at about 8:30 pm on an OU game day. You can tell that the girls that are serving are already tired. Didn't matter. They still gave the same polite service that I've known for 10+ years in living in Norman. I hadn't been back to Louie's in years - and had honestly forgotten it was even here. Last night, a friend and I were trying to think of places that are open late in Norman, and she suggested Louie's. I must admit that it was far better than I remembered, and I'll definitely be back! I ordered fish tacos with a side of fried okra (strange combination, I know - but that was my mood last night. Haha.). The food was absolutely delicious and came in generous portions. The prices were very reasonable. The best part of all was the service. Our waitress was amazing! She was attentive, without being smothering, and she was friendly, patient, and kind. Awefull service and food! I ordered the Santa Fe salad and a kids quesadilla which comes with chips and queso. When we picked up the order, they forgot to put my salad in the bag. When we got back to eat, the chicken in the salad was tough like leather and had zero seasoning on it. The menu said that it came with home made salsa, house dressing. It was literally just salsa. The quesadillas were supposed to come with chips and queso. We got chips but no queso. They didn't give us any silverware. To pay $13 for a salad and get that... that was unacceptable. I had no time to return it because I was on my lunch break or I would have. Terrible experience overall! read more

The atmosphere of the Louie's is good but I think overall it's average. The burger patty was good but left the bun drenched in grease. The California club sandwich was good but not very filling. A good grade for the sweet potato fries. I'm not a fan of the "Freddy's like" fries but to each their own. read more

Nice vibe and good food at a fair price. Louie's has a definite upscale look, but the prices are still very reasonable. I decided to try the Fish Tacos, which were nicely flavored. The Fish was meaty and juicy, with a good crunch to the batter and the Pico, Black Bean and Corn topping complimented nicely. MY only complaint would be it was hard to keep it all together, but that's how I usually feel about Tacos! I'll definitely return. read more

Enjoyed lunch here with some friends before going to the Sooners game. We had the fried pickles, friend green beans and queso for our appetizers and all were great. We even ordered a second fried pickles we liked them so much. Most of our group ordered the burgers and we all were happy with our choices. I added okra instead of fries. I recommend those too. Raurie(not sure if I am spelling this right) was our very kind and attentive waitress. She gave great food recommendations and her service was excellent. Yup it was A-OK. The two under the age of 13 in our party LOVED Louie's. Not that it's a kid's place, they were just highly impressed with the quality of the chicken strips, the perfect crunch of the corn dog, the ZOMG WE GET TO SIT UPSTAIRS, the "they totally let you seat yourself here, unlike most places where they just walk you around in circles for awhile until they find an empty table to sit at". Oh, to live in their reality. They had kid food, mah fella had a big ol' hamburger and I had a chicken salad. The service was sweet and attentive, our food was decent. Was it ZOMG THE BEST?? Our family attended a car show in the parking lot of Brookhaven Village and opted to try out Louies. The place was full, but not packed. with regulars and car show attendees. Our wait staff was on the ball. She got drink orders and followed up with the requisite extra ice, lemons and what not. She took our order while being engaging and competent. I know this doesn't sound phenomenal but it reallt was some of the best customer service we received ever. Food was above average but not out of this world. It was pub grub that was hot, well prepared and delivered promptly. I had an avocado burger and the boys had personal pizzas. Portions were generous but not obscene. Well done Louies! read more

Had lunch for the first time in many years at the Brookhaven Louie's. I got it to go, so I can't comment on the service. But, I will say the bartender that got my order was friendly, and I was only waiting a couple of minutes but more than one employee asked me how I was doing. So, these are all great signs. I went with the southwest wrap and French fries. The order of fries was LARGE, I didn't come close to finishing it. So, great value there. They are very skinny and have some seasoning on them, which is appreciated. Too many places under season fries. The southwest wrap is served with grilled chicken, bacon, cheddar jack cheese, mixed greens, honey mustard, and a bean salsa. The menu states the honey mustard is "chipotle," but I didn't get much of a kick from it. That being said, it was a good wrap. Plenty of chicken and cheese, and the greens were fresh. My major complaint was that it was a little dry, I could have used more of the honey mustard. That being said, it was a good value at $7.99 for the lunch. I received plenty of napkins and condiments in my to go order. So, I have no complaints at all about the service, couldn't have been better. Based on this one experience, I'd say Louie's has solid bar good, but not above average. I'll return. read more

Honestly I've just decided to be done with Louies. I've tried 3 different locations now and each have disappointed. The first the food was not cooked all the way, the second (the other Norman location) lost power and then decided to be completely rude to our group when we went to pay and tried to get us to leave our card numbers, expiration date, and CVV code. This location I visited last night with my coworker. It was okay service we were being understanding with covid and being short staffed and then came time to pay the bill. My coworker had no problem with hers mine came back and the waitress said I still owed money. Knowing I had money in the account I opened my bank app to see what happened and I then informed her my bank was showing she tried charging me twice so they froze my account thinking it was incorrect, which it was. She then informed me that their system was terrible and had been messing up. She got her manager and after 30 minutes of messing with the system he informed me that she somehow voided the original transaction which he was confused as to how because only managers are supposed to have access to that. He stated that he also voided the other transaction and that it should reflect in my account the next day (today). I left my name and number so they could contact me and we could fix this. I missed the call due to being at work and then when I returned the call I was on hold for 15 minutes before I was hung up on. Will not be returning and very irritated with the whole situation. One charge was removed however the other was not. read more

One was the phone ringing nonstop. I understand take out and curbside is a big thing right now, but turn the phone ringer down or have the manager monitor it. Yes the ringer was non stop and loud, extremely loud. The cigar/wine bar was the second issue. I thought it had potential, but waited almost 30 minutes with no service. I payed my first tab and let my server know I was headed back there. Multiple employees came into the area, and went about their business like they didn't notice me waiting. I was one of two people back there. Overall I had a lot higher expectations, and was highly disappointed. Would have rated Louie's with one star, but they get a break because of COVID. read more

A classier, better food, better service version of buffalo wild wings. I have yet to leave a Louie's feeling dissatisfied. During our last visit (530pm on a Wednesday), my wife and I got stuck with a 5 day trainee named Alexis,, bummer right?? Absolutely not! Even the training staff at this place has exceptional customer service. She was always there if we needed something but was not annoying or "fake" and seemed very genuine. There is always some sort of beer or drink special to try out here that varies month to month, which is great for switching things up. My recommendation, get the beer/mixed drink special, for an app get the fried green beans or the fried pickles, main course go pepperoni or marghereta pizza, if you like salads their super salad has RIDICULOUS amounts of chicken. I have also gotten the fish and chips which is actually better than the fish'n chips at The Big Tuna. If you haven't been here here you MUST go! read more
