Please don't shoot the messenger! I had phenomenal service but please keep a BIG note in mind. Again, as with all these luxury retailers, you DEFINITELY need to dress up, or at a minimum, carry something expensive on your arm or body that tells them you can afford to not only be there, but make a possible purchase. I know, I know, it sucks! Trust me I hear you! I did a little shopping and wanted nothing more than to just get my item and go! Unfortunately, that's just not how these stores are built, and it's worth it to me to dress up and get treated like the money I'm spending! Great service but I wish I had a more full experience. It could be because of Covid, but you have to ask for samples, you're not offered AND you get no champagne, no nothing. Just pick up and browsing. That's it. Also, if you're my age or younger (I'm 25 but look even younger) DEFINITELY DRESS UP lol they may think you're living off a trust fund but at least they will highly respect you! Again, I know it sucks, but that's just my biggest tip on how to avoid having a bad experience here. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this LV. I had a great experience but I DEFINITELY get the vibe that they don't treat everyone that way, which isn't cool, as the way someone dresses one day out of the year doesn't dictate what they make in a year so I have to dock a star for that. First of all, this business shows up on Yelp as permanently closed, but it is very much open. Now, the SAs were very nice to me, answered all my questions, and took out certain bags from the back to show me, but the low rating is because I witnessed them being rude to other customers while I was there. A group of young men were looking at some of the small leather goods, and they asked the price of a few of the items. The first two times they asked, they got an answer with a very exasperated tone. The third time, the SA said to them in a very derogatory tone: "All of this information can be found on our website." I mean, how hard can it be to just tell them the price? I feel like they were only nice to me because I was wearing a Burberry bag. read more

I walked into the store November 10th, 2023 with the possibility of making a purchase. When I walked in, there were two LV associates behind the counter visiting with a female. I could hear them laughing and chatting as I browsed . I went by a male associate that didn't even look up from his phone as I passed by. I was ignored by all three LV associates. I am an African American woman. I walked into this store on June 5th, 2023 in the late afternoon after visiting the World Trade Center Monument. I walked 2 rotations around the store which had 2 customers and 3 visible LV associates. One associate -female- was carrying on a personal conversation while she was behind the counter the other 2 were helping customers. Never ONCE did someone greet me. I just stood in front of the counter where the bag that I was interested in was placed. The whole time I was standing there, the female associate carried on her conversation and said not a single word to me..... In comes a briskly walking Asian young woman. She stands quite antsilly while looking at her bag of interest from my side of the counter. All of a sudden an African American gentleman(Manager)came and greeted HER( never me) and proceeded to help her with her decision making process. I'm still standing there, the female associate is still conversing with her friend, the associate that was helping someone in shoes finished and walked by without any acknowledgement that I was standing there.. THEN IT HAPPENED, I reached the point where I could not continue to stay silent.... Another African American LV associate came around the counter to HELP the Manager HELP the Asian customer-- WHILE I STILL STOOD THERE UNACKNOWLEDGED!!! What!!!! It was at that point I said, "Excuse me! Am I invisible??" The Manager in response said he thought I was with the Asian customer but NOTHING would have given him that indication(shouldn't he have spoken to me as well if he thought I was with her??)... I left the store disheartened, it will be a VERY LONG time (if ever) that I patronize a Louis Vuitton store again as this is not the first ( although the worst) time I felt slighted in this way at LV! I guess if it can happen to Oprah Winfrey at a Louis Vuitton....it also makes me wonder when will this racial profiling ever end? ESPECIALLY when shopping while BLACK?? read more

I had a great experience at this store. I was there on a Friday afternoon a couple of weeks bag. While they unfortunately didn't have the bag I really wanted, the sales advisor helped me find a wallet that I really love. She was very kind of conversational and even gave my friend who cane with my a goodie bag with perfume samples. I would recommend this location! read more

Man, these folks are A+. Barrington, Jose, and Cindy were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They offered the friendliest service compared to the 5th Avenue and SoHo stores (although there was one really nice sales associate at the SoHo store two years ago. Sadly I forgot her name). Torn on this review. The gentleman at the door was great and personable. I asked him a question about repairing an item I had purchased earlier. He didn't know and had to ask someone. I assume it was a manager but could be wrong. Her face in response to the question was a strait up poop face. If there was any way I could go elsewhere to fix this I would have. If you're going to drop $1-4K on a luxury bag, press your luck at another LV location. This place has the worst customer service ever. I bought a bag at the 57th St. LV location and tried to return it here because the bag just seemed impractical and not an everyday bag like I assumed. I tried it and based on LV's return policy, I tried to return it within the 30 day period, but the sales associate and manager refused to issue me a refund because the bag appeared "used." Yes, I did use it once, but realized I didn't like it. I did keep it in mint condition without a single mark on it. They refused to issue the return and told me to try the original store. I didn't bother arguing with them because it wasn't worth my time. I did feel jilted because it's hot as hell and I had to trek the box back uptown from Tribeca. What was more insulting is that I've purchased from LV numerous times before and I've never had an issue...the one time I don't like a bag and decide to return it even though I followed the instructions and return policy, they refuse to refund me. A-holes. Furthermore, how come I was able to return it to the Soho LV store without so much of an issue?! Oh, because LV at Brookfield is run by a bunch of degenerate a-holes who don't give a shit about customer service. Never going to waste my time coming to this location ever again. F- them. read more

Somehow the bag went missing. It said it was delivered on fedex website but the concierge in my building said they never received this package. When I called the store, the woman was incredibly rude and said" I don't know if you have received the bag already and just calling to get another bag". I found it unbelievably insulting and couldn't believe they attacked my character just to avoid responsibility. I am surprised LV would hire someone so unprofessional. Finally I managed to declare missing item on fedex website but fedex needs the shipper -this store to start the declaration process: Again when I called they asked me to call fedex and still very rude and didn't want to start the process. I ended up making a purchase but I encountered the RUDEST salesperson. I didn't even get a shopping bag with my purchase, just a cloth bag and my item handed to me. She didn't come around the cash wrap to hand me my purchase which is standard at LV. I will never shop at this location again (even though it's a 7 minute walk from my office.) Came in looking for a particular bag. Showed the salesperson what I was looking for by a picture on my phone. He went into the back room and immediately appeared with the bag! Then, he helped me pick out a beautiful wallet to match. I was so pleased with the service I received at this location. I always buy a new bag when visiting NY. As a customer of the Louis Vuitton brand, I feel I have been targeted and mistreated due to my gender, race and skin color by your employee named Philip at the Brookfield Place store. As it can be documented on any footage of the store filmed on May 5, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. I request an apology from your Company. Philip berated me and tried to humiliate me. I felt discriminated against, embarrassed and down. This is what happened, on April 28, 2022, I approached the store because my silver lockit pendant necklace had tarnished so badly a one day or two after use. The store manager saw I was visibly upset, but did not want to give me any refund, store credit or exchange. I finally tried to understand his position and agreed for him to polish the item. We also agreed that I would return to the store if anything else happened to it. In a couple of hours the necklace got so tarnished that I called Customer Service and they said I needed to return to the store. I went back to the store on May 5, 2022 and there it was, Philip with his attitude over me. He claimed that he saw the time when I went to the store to claim my right over the item bought there and he asked me to leave the store in a very rude manner, He even opened up his arms and moved his hand in a very disrespectful way to let me go. He did not want to take the item to be polished again nor did he want to engage in a fruitful conversation to overcome my claims. read more

I came to this location to get my Louis Vuitton Speedy Damier Ebene 30 Brown hot stamped. Upon my arrival, I was greeted immediately and given a warm welcome by a female worker; unsure her name. She seems new and was unsure how the process worked with hot stamping, so she asked her coworker Alex to assist her. Alex was very nice and professional. He educated me on the process and advised me what would better suit my style handbag. He explained to me the turnaround time is about 24 hours and they will contact me via phone. The following day, I contacted them to inquire if my bag was ready for pickup, they stated another day. Now, 3 days have gone by and my bag still wasn't ready. I did contact them each day and their response was always the next day. One the last day, I decided against calling them; and just to go there and see what's the holdup. When I arrived, Alex explained to me that my bag was damaged during the process; however, they replaced my entire bag and gave me a new one; including locks and dust bag. How amazing!! Overall my experience was great with them. I will definitely return in the future. Also, they do offer you beverages while you wait and/or shop. I believe I was offered sparkling water and something else which I can not recall. read more

Each time, i've encountered a different salesperson (but just as rude) and they take my info, search their system for my item. Tell me they have 2 in stock and will order...then nothing comes out of it. Had the most amazing experience here after going to the LV exhibit. The staff had so much knowledge and history of LV that they shared with us. After visiting the LV in Macy's near Time Square and having an absolutely awful experience, this LV was a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend visiting! Only downfall is it is a smaller store. read more
