I dropped off a handbag for hardware replacement...the brass was discolored. When I received the bag back; I noticed a small hole. I contacted Tim, the Service Manager. He assured me , that the spot was there at intake. I asked him for the intake photos on 6/16/26 and he assured me he would forward them to me. Guess What? No Photos and he has ghosted me. It has been 4 weeks and no contact from him. What about accountability and transparency, I expected much more from Louis Vuitton! I recommend clients take photos of their drop offs. Right when i walked in there was people all over the place and the workers were lined up in the front of the store and as i proceeded in and i get gazed with words all over saying how i was and how i should tell them what i need and what am i looking for and again how my dad was going. LV has had my wife's purse for repair since 1/6/26 with 6 week promise of a return. At this point we still do have the purse nor any viable information as to when it will be fixed and return. We have reached out a few times starting in May and no one can give a straight answer as to where it is. I was told via voicemail by Jeffery the so called manager last week on 6/3/26 that i would have an update by 6/5. It is now 6/11/26 and have received no calls. I have called Jeffery the several times in the last few days and been sent to voicemail. Apparently doing job is optional as an employee at LV, I would like to speak to someone who can provide factual information. read more

My experience at such a prestigious store was not accompanied by the level of customer service I expected. That is why I feel the need to express that the director of the Oak Brook store has a particular way of treating customers that is not appropriate. When a product does not meet the necessary quality standards that represent the brand, the customer's word should never be questioned regarding what happened with the product. Putting the customer's statement in doubt undermines trust, because how could you feel confident purchasing again if you experienced a similar issue in the future? This store is happy to service you when you are making a purchase. However, when you run into issues with a defected product, they will deny the issue and blame the fault on you instead. There is a known odor issue on a batch of canvas materials made between 2017-2021. The foul odor is related to a quality enhancing substance used on the canvas coating. Unfortunately, one of my monogram canvas key pouch happens to be part of the batch. I brought it into this store for them to assess as suggested by the LV Care Service. The staff or his manager flat out denied the issue and tried to insinuate that it was related to the way I had stored it or used it. I recognized the game they were trying to play and did not want to waste any longer of my time to argue with them for over just a key pouch. I am extremely disappointed with this Oakbrook store location and will not plan to visit it for any future purchases. Visited the Louis Vuitton shore in Oakbrook, on Friday afternoon May 5th to purchase a grift for our daughter. Walking up to the store was a security officer & his canine standing by the entrance (sign of the times we live in.) The door to the store was opened by a friendly store employee. We were immediately greeted by Jacqui who assisted us with our purchase. As Jacqui handed us our purchase (in the traditional Louis box) I immediately wished that we could get a big black plastic bag to put it into ( I didn't want the attention as we walked back to the parking lot.) We will definitely return to this store, but I will bring a black trash bag to carry our purchase back to our car. read more

The service in here is awful. Ross sold my bother a handbag that he gave me for my birthday. When I took it out of the box, my daughter noticed it was missing a luggage tag. I took it back to this location with in few. Ross helped me again. He charged me $100 for the tag and accused me or my bother of removing the luggage tag. I am so glad the LV Oakbrook has finally addressed the smash n grab brazen robbery incidents that have been happening a lot by hiring real police with real weapons and even have security guards with dogs outside their store. Through this boutique I met one of my best friends so I have emotional connection with it:) I can not judge to this place trough this circumstance (cov19) bc it is not what is LV to me. Line was moving fast, waiting time was cca 25 min. You would be welcomed and handed hand sanitizer right away, so you can continue your visit and talk with your seller assistant about your wishes. Luckily my wish came true bc I grabbed the last bag they had in stock( pretty rare item so my happiness is over the stars). Store occupancy is limited and since everyone had their assistant everything is more faster and flexible. It is annoying that people just go inside to look around, like they can not do that online.. I mean in the normal circumstances I wouldn't mind that, but now, I do. Bc day is short for me and I will not just stay in the line and ruin someone time but hey that's me. When it comes to LV, I do not prefer this location mostly bc of the items. Sometimes I get the feeling that they are the least of all locations when it comes to choices. If I could give zero stars, I would. Out of all the various LV locations I have shopped at, this one by far has the worst customer service. Staff makes their disregard for their customers more blatant than ever, most especially when dealing with younger shoppers. Up to now, I was a returning customer at LV and loved the products, brand, and treatment that I got. This store ruined that with a single experience. I purchased a watch from LV, and soon after found the watch to have visual defects. I had not yet worn this watch, nor taken it out of the case. Tried it on in-store to ensure the fitting was proper, then displayed it at home. Zero opportunity for me to have damaged it, given that I have experience with handling delicate items. Despite these facts, the staff there refused to offer me a return, store credit, or any possibility of fixing it because "I wore it". Keeping in mind that the only time I wore it was in store prior to my purchase, this did not make sense to me. Continuing on, the staff continued to disregard my complaints and attempts at correcting the situation and offered zero solutions. Ellie, who was there when I purchased the watch, was assigned to help me with my issue at first. Immediately upon me breathing the word "return", her attitude and demeanor shifted from a kind and genuine one into a very cold and uncaring one. She got her manager, Olga, to come over and listen to my issue. I was met with the same attitude from her, uncaring and impossible to talk to. Meanwhile, in the amount of time that I was in the store, about 15 minutes, I was able to see multiple other patrons come in and return their items. Purses that outvalued my item getting returned with absolute ease. In short, a product issue that occurred in store ended with a "No, leave" attitude from the staff. I will no longer continue to shop at LV and have deep regrets about giving those employees any of the commission from my purchase. It seems to me that if you are under the age of 30, not dressed to par, or not a middle aged woman, that you must not shop at this store if you care about customer service. read more

The service at this location has been so disappointing. When spending a lot of money on a handbag you expect friendly and reasonable service This was on two occasions and most recently very disappointed after my husband gifted me a bag that I didn't like or need the style. We left for vacation after receiving the bag and when I got home I went to exchange. They refused to exchange because it was 10 days past the exchange window. The bag is a new model so still selling and on display but they refused to let me pick a different bag. The purse sits in the box in my closet while I figure out what to do with it. The return window is short, I suggest never gift a bag and only select or buy with the recipient. If the sales rep has to enforce the rule you would think they would be sympathetic or nice about it. Instead they were cold, nope can't exchange past date and that's it. Nothing like were real sorry or any of that. As he was not about to spend that amount of $$ and have the bag sit in the closet, we went back to find something more suitable to my style. I guess it is okay. I am a simple person. My husband gave me a LV item for a Christmas gift. He told me the name of the saleswoman he worked with. She told him they were low on stock and with ALL the paperwork in hand, I went in to find something I might use and like better. Was she even there the day I went in? I'll never know. The gentleman who helped me, pulled out the paperwork and asked if I had that particular charge card. "No, it was a gift from my husband." Can you call him because I need the account number and expiration date. Say what????? I walked out. I phoned my husband and told him I could not complete a transaction without him and /or his charge card info. He asked if that particular saleswoman was in the store. How should I know, I have no idea what she looks like. Here's what I learned: either your are a LV person, or you are not. I was asked if I had looked online to see what item I might want instead. My bad ~ I thought I could look around the store. Store is bare bones. One should go in knowing the name of the particular item they want. Salesman explained that they had extended their return/exchange time limit. Well, if you are still low on stock what good does that exactly do? When will you be getting additional/new stock in? Will it be within the time limit? Can't say for sure, but some items are slowly starting to come in. That's a HUGE help. I knew I did not want a purse. I wish I had counted how many times a purse of varied sizes was suggested. I think I am speaking English here. I was almost in tears when I saw something I liked, not in stock, but could be ordered. Completed my transaction and got the heck out. I had absolutely no idea if I would ever really receive the item, no idea where it was coming from, and not a stitch of paperwork.
