I'm so happy that we finally have a coffee shop in south Lees Summit!! And a really good one too!! I had just about given up hope but this proves that wishes can come true!! The shop is smallish but comfortable, the people are very welcoming and so nice, the coffee is good and they also have delicious hot chocolate (made with Ghirardelli chocolate!!!). My daughter and I went today for the first time for customer appreciation. I got a drip coffee and she got a strawberry smoothie. Both were excellent! The staff was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions about the menu. My daughter has a dairy allergy and they were very accommodating. The atmosphere and decor is great! I moved here from Oregon three years ago so I was used to a drive through coffee place on every corner. I've often thought of starting one myself. Well, someone finally did here in south Lee's Summit. I stopped here on my way to work and got a coffee and scone. The coffee was pretty good, not great and the scone was like a dry biscuit in the shape of a scone. A little too buttery for a scone and more spongy like a biscuit. The service was excellent and the staff extremely friendly. I'll definitely be back to try some more things on their menu. read more

Love Coffee is a small, but nice place to grab a quick coffee or drink, with cozy, airy decor that makes it a lively place. The staff is friendly and it's good place to come with friends or family. The drink I ordered when I came here was a Matcha Latte, it was slightly disappointing, with most of the contents being milk with a hint of matcha. It was a bit weak for me, but I wasn't expecting top notch. I would get a different drink next time, (their coffee smells delicious) but I still have to give four stars because of the atmosphere and the staff. Great place overall. read more

Every time you walk into Love Coffee, you feel like you're walking into a friend's house. The drinks and the service are excellent; when I leave I feel genuinely happy. The employees are relaxed and sweet. They seem to enjoy chatting with customers and are very knowledgeable and can help make recommendations. The matcha latte is way better than Starbucks or anywhere else I've had locally. The chai tea latte leaves room for improvement. You should try a pump of lavender in your favourite drink if you are adventurous. I do wish the food was a bit less expensive, its a bit overpriced even for a coffee shop, but the cost of drinks is reasonable (not to mention well worth it). This is a really cute coffee shop that I visit frequently with my friend on the way home from school. My friend reports the coffee having a "burnt" taste, but I've only had good experiences with my drinks. Wish they had a little more variety but it is still new as isn't a chain. They accept Apple Pay which is a huge plus; I wish more businesses accepted it. It's too small to be a place for work/study, but great for socializing. I would give the coffee 4 stars, if not 5, but the atmosphere makes it hard to have a conversation or to do any work. The music they play is little to be desired. I'd been in earlier this year and the music had been quiet and pleasant but lately its been 70's and 80's music the last two times, and it is turned up a little too loud. Almost as loud as your nearby Starbucks. I brought my grandma here and she couldn't understand most of what I was telling her. We would have opted for the patio, but it was too hot. If whoever runs this place would be cognoscente of the fact that it's a small coffee shop, maybe it would be ideal and peaceful to stay. Unless now that is not the intention. read more

I absolutely love this place. It's so close to my home and convenient on my way to school since they have a drive through. A few weeks ago I walked to the coffee shop with my mom and my one year old puppy and they were so loving of my dog, they gave him a treat and had water for the other dogs outside in their outdoor seating.
