Vox nail spa is where I've been getting my nails done for the past few months and I really love the nail services, consistently good experiences I've had with them, ease of booking appointments by phone, and convenient location in a shopping center with ample parking. I especially enjoy never waiting for my nails to be done because the technicians here are attentive to their clients and give focus to the person sitting in front of them without stopping to assist other clients in between and they get you in and out without half the day lost sitting in the salon. I never feel rushed and my nails always look pristine so I appreciate that they value my time. I think they are reasonably priced too, but I would still appreciate having an itemized receipt when I check out as opposed to just a print out with a service charge on it. It gets cumbersome having to ask for a break down of what I'm paying for each time I visit instead of it just being printed out proactively, but I love Nhu nhu's work and fun personality, so I'll stick with Vox as long as she's there. read more

They did a good job with taking precautions against COVID 19, and it made me comfortable after not having a pedi in three (3) months. My pedicurist was Momma! Yes, I had to ask twice for the pronunciation of her name. She was very nice and took her time to provide great service. Did I mentioned that they serve wine?!?! One of the highlights to the service. This is my second time returning to this place. I was hoping to get a different lady but I got the same lady. She made me bleed during my pedicure not once but twice. She did decent on the pedicure. But when it came to my gel manicure I've never seen such a bad manicure. I payed $92 with tip for manicure and a pedicure. First of all she extremely slow. She took longer than anyone else and I was just getting a basic gel manicure the people around me were getting tips added I didn't even do that they were finished before me and I started before them. The gel is still sticking to the bottoms of my fingers she missed spots on my fingers and I don't know how she did that because she put so many coats of gel on my fingers. She cut me so many times she had to bring out some weird blood clotting stuff. read more

Overall the esthetics of the shop is nice and the nail techs do a good job. However, this shops is overly priced and the customer service is horrible especially Tony at the front desk. I started going here in 2020 and things started off good. There have been times when I called to make an appointment and when I get there either they say they don't have a record of me calling or the nail tech is late (not all the time but there have been multiple occasions this occurred). When I say over price I truly mean it......how is it that my total is always over $150 but I can never get a customized receipt. It's like they make up the price when you go up there. I have tested this theory by going to 3 other nail salons close in the area and getting the exact same thing (dip powder, no design and gel manicure) ....two provided me with the customize receipt but none were even close to $150. This week I wasn't able to get an appointment with Mimi because she was booked but I was still satisfied with my nails. I came in for fullset, design nails, and a pedicure. My services were done by Cristine. We discussed a price while I was sitting at the table on check out The price was a lot more than we discussed, but also significantly high according to the pamphlet that sits in front, I did not complain. My cuticles we're covered in oil so the day after I saw that they were very crusty with residual product. It took several days for this crustiness to come off. During my pedicure all of the services were not done, most people get pedicures so that their feet could be properly scrubbed and massaged. I didn't get that. My nails were being polished a few minutes after they were taken out of the water. And they were cured under the UV light for not enough time. I didn't pay for a basic pedicure ..when I pointed out that she Had not scrubbed my feet, She told me that I didn't need to, but still charged me for that increase pedicure. Five days after leaving, my big toes began to crack and the nail polish peeled off in chunks. I was away on vacation so I sent her pictures the following day... She told me I could come in and she would fix it. I contacted her when I was back and available based on work and health emergencies. She told me that I would have to pay for my polish, and when I told her I was unhappy with the services and the customer service she told me that it was business. I would not recommend going to her because she overcharges for her designs, her pedicures are poor, and she does not take pride in the quality of her work. read more

My daughters nails took a bit longer to get started. My nail tech took her time, burned me a couple of times with the drill and cut my cuticle too far on one hand. Again no biggie it happens. Over 2 hours later I was happy enough. Prices were reasonable as well. 4 days later, 3 cracked and 1 chipped nail later, I'm extremely annoyed that I paid $35 for polish that is supposed to last 2 weeks. I've been to this location before and have never had a major problem with my nails. This time was different. The girl who did my pedicure was so sweet and did an amazing job. The guy who did my manicure was nice but my nails aren't at the standard I'm used to. As you can see in the pictures, my nails look sloppy. So I usually get my nails done at another salon but my nail lady is on vacation. I called vox nail spa and set up an appointment. The man who did my nails was at chair 17. I asked him to do a specific design and then I changed my mind three times. He didn't do the cow print the way I wanted him to and I asked him to change that design too. I felt so bad because I knew I was getting on his nerves. He did everything I asked him to do and honestly this is one of the best sets I've ever had. The place is in a good location and very nice decorated, however that is as far as it goes. The customer service needs to improve a whole lot. There is no receptionist. They charged $44 for a regular refill and the guy that did mine was super rough to the point that he hurt me. I had to tell him to slow down. And he kept hitting my feet down when doing the pedicure. My regular nail tech was out sick and I needed three nails repaired and a pedicure. I was greeted warmly and taken care of by a careful, attentive, and very kind young man. He was FANTASTIC with me. He stopped several times to make sure everything was ok. The foot massage you receive are normally quite basic but the one I got from him, I almost melted into the floor. He cared enough to do a good job and it showed. I was very picky with my colors and style (it's a big birthday), and he was patient and detail oriented enough to get it perfect. I do mean perfect. This was my first and last visit. Mimi was rude, unprofessional and nasty to say the least. Kept texting on her phone, got up and went to take a call outside and messed my nails up! And got upset when I said I wasn't satisfied with her work! Then called the Police like I was trying to leave without paying. Which, I wasn't! I just wanted her to fix my nails! Went in to get a pedicure while I had some time to kill in the GB area. I have been getting pedicures for 20 years. Have to say this one was Not worth my $45. Then there is the obnoxious rap music, this is not relaxing its out right annoying, it's the hardcore type with profanity. Try 27.00 for a simple pedicure, nothing wow, I will give them this NOTHING is reused, the tools are sealed packets. The tubs are plastic bagged and the pumice is thrown away after the session. I came here as a walk in the day before New year's Eve to see if I could get fit in for a fill. They fit me in just fine and Mimi did my nails. Her polish work and nail art were beautiful, but she was SO heavy handed with the dremel that I had scrapes and scabs on every single finger. I called to make a follow up appointment this weekend in hopes that I could get Mimi again and maybe ask her to be a little more gentle (because her polish and nail art really were nice) but the receptionist who answered the phone was RUDE! I asked if she had available appointments, was curtly told no and before I could ask to check a future date was hung up on.
