Ordered take out dinner today. Very friendly people and clean restaurant. Family ordered the savory chicken wings- Yum! A little on the salty side but great flavor. Shrimp Pad see ew- fresh and delicious but I don't eat spicy food, which is why i ordered this, and something in this dish was spicy! Same thing with the vegetable spring rolls-something was spicy. I'm not sure if the cooking utensils or surface had spice on it and it transferred to the food but it was very odd. Both dishes on the menu do NOT show the spicy icon. Anyway food was good and fresh. I ordered the Pad thai, Tom Yum soup and a Thai Tea, the tea and the soup were very delicious however the pad thai tasted a little burnt and definitely needed more sauce. it was still edible but definitely not as good as when i usually get it. still love this place and will be back but i'm hoping they fix the pad thai read more

When a customer walks in they are greeted, the menu is above the counter, and the attendant will explain the meals. You can also ask for variations to the meals based on your preferences. If you ask to review the meals based before you leave, they will accommodate your request. There is a club card for discounts, so you can sign up and order ahead of time for the next visit. Great food and you can see the kitchen is clean. Nice place to sit and eat with friends. Outside seating is also provided. The only con is they do not have Thai or Vietnamese soup spoons, but that's my preference. read more

We love Thai food and have been wanting to try Savory Thai for a while. Today we dined there for lunch. It is a counter service establishment, but the service was very friendly and efficient. We had the Tom Yum Soup with chicken, Thai Basil Chicken with rice and Jasmine Tea. The food was good, the soup was very good and the tea was tasty. The down sides are the "fast-food" type ambience along with the food being served in styrofoam dishes with plastic silverware. We would definitely go back if in the area, but wouldn't make a special trip to eat there. read more

Nice small place down 98 outside the Highland Publix. Food portion was good, hot and fresh. It came out quick and the taste was spectacular. Our first visit, we went to celebrate our fifteenth anniversary and were very warmly congratulated by the friendliest staff one could imagine. We immediately felt at home and were impressed by the sparkling cleanliness of the store. Granted, it's a brand-new space, but it's obvious they go to great lengths to keep it looking fresh and new. The food...! These folks know exactly what they're doing and produce a lovely array of genuine Thai tastes. My wife tried the Kickboxing Chicken, and I had the Red Curry with Fried Tofu; hers fit her "spice profile" as-is, and I took a chance - being a bit of a chili-head but knowing that Thai spice is very different - and bumped mine up to medium...amazing! The flavors were greatly enhanced and even more enjoyable. The Kickboxing Chicken's inherent spiciness was more than well-balanced by the sweet pineapple. We also had vegetable spring rolls (crispy and accompanied by a lovely sauce), along with chicken satay (so delicious, with a beautiful, tasty peanut sauce). We weren't sure about the drinks at first, mainly because we'd simply never heard of anything like them, but went out on a limb and tried a mocktail (for her) and I got a mango smoothie with strawberry "popping boba;" again, these were quite well-crafted and the flavors were amazing! Yellow curry: Although I requested no spice, it had a standard level of spiciness but so flavorful! My only qualm is that I prefer my curry separate from my rice... I like to control the rice to soup ratio. By the time I made it home the rice soaked the liquid up. However, next time I'll request the two to be in separate containers. Also, there could have been a wee bit more chicken in the dish. 8/10 party in my mouth! Chicken satay: the chicken was cooked perfectly and not overly seasoned so that you're able to enjoy the delicious peanut sauce. 10/10 party in my mouth! Chicken spring rolls: nice, crunchy, and flavorful! The sweet chili sauce is also delicious! 10/10 party in my mouth! The only downside, which has nothing to do with the food was the wait time and the inside space. Just a few tables and chairs. Not accommodating of large parties or a lot of people dining in or waiting for their food. There are 2 sets of table and chairs outside. I enjoyed my first Thai tea with boba while I waited outside... it was seriously so delicious that I ordered a second one for the road! If you go, call ahead for pick up. If you're waiting, play candy crush, read a book, or catch up on some phone calls. Whatever you decide, just know there will probably be some sort of a wait. Don't be that person! No pictures, why? The Boba was a smoothie, not the normal tea drink. But it was amazing! Prices are very fair. It's all packed to go, but there were a few small tables. Very clean and nice vibe inside. They have 5 spice levels (medium was plenty for me!) You can choose from Curry, Fried Rice, Stir-fry, or noodle dishes with tofu, chicken, pork, beef or shrimp. You can add-on for an upcharge. They have bacon fried rice! and wings and Laab. They have a pho dish, soups & salads. It seems to be mostly "fast food" Thai. (served on plastic to-go dishes) I'll be back many times. Great hours too. 11-9 during the week, closed Sunday. I started with red curry. Nicely prepared. I did find some bamboo tough and chewy.
