I usually love this place, have normally not been disappointed, sad to say I am. I ordered food to go and was looking forward to my pho. The broth was flavorless, not even salted. What happened? Did this COVID situation cause a shortage in your delivery of spices? I am not sure if I will go back. I went since they had first opened and always ordered the pho with wonton and seafood. What happened??? I am not a newbie to the food there, so definitely something was off. I had ordered for my family too, wasted $50 for sure. Ended up having to cook dinner after all. Solid Pho place inside the Annex. I had the vegetarian broth with the shrimp pho, and it was delicious. Very flavorful. And such a large portion that I'm eating it for lunch today too. A great value as well, only $8.95. We also split an order of the shrimp rolls and they came out hot and fresh and really good. I'll definitely be back. read more

The food is consistent. Staff is friendly, they served me once out on the patio when I was visiting with my dogs (real bowl, not the plastic to go stuff) which I appreciated. Their bobas are good. I get the basic chicken pho every time I feel a cold coming on and it works for me! read more

Pretty mediocre across the board. I've tried their crispy tofu, fried rice, banh mi sandwich, pho, and a few different teas. The crispy tofu was not good, but everything else was okay. Great takeout experience. I was impressed with the fresh herbs and quality sauces. The spicy beef soup (N1) was fragrant, savory and only mildly spicy. I used to drive to their Camarillo location so I am thrilled that they are in the Annex at the Collection! I love the combo pho. Glad they also have so many options for boba. Stopped here today for the first time and got the following with a friend: Spring Rolls Banh Mi Grilled Pork Sandwich Spicy Beef Noodle Soup Thai Iced Tea with Tapioca Boba and what I think was a Cappuccino Iced Tea, but it also may have just been Vietnamese Iced Coffee The spring rolls were quite good, loved the peanut sauce that came along with them. Really great appetizer. The banh mi grilled pork sandwich was so good my friend got another one to go to have for the rest of the day. It was SO good that I'm going to be spending part of the rest of my day looking up at-home recipes to try and emulate it, but I'm worried that I'll have to keep coming back here solely for this quite affordable delicious sandwich. Honestly was the star of the show. The spicy beef noodle soup was good but not great. All of the meat inside was quite good, no complaints there in the least. The broth was above average but certainly not spicy so if they offer you the ability to kick the spice up I'd jump at that. The noodles were definitely our least favorite part of the meal, they just felt so-so and usually I love Vietnamese noodle dishes so that made me somewhat trepidatious about getting anything in the future that stars noodles since they just didn't seem up to par with everything else we had from here. The drinks were both quite good. Probably the best Thai Tea I've had in the Ventura area, and I've had a few of them over the years. I'm not a coffee guy so I can't comment much on what my friend got but they liked it. Overall there's some really great options here and I cannot recommend the Banh Mi Grilled Pork sandwich enough. Best Pho I've had in Oxnard. I usually go to Pho Saigon in Port Hueneme when I want Vietnamese so I was happy to see this place open in the Annex at the Collection. I was extremely happy to see that they had Bonh Mi sandwiches, one thing that Pho Saigon does not have. I had the lemongrass beef Bonh Mi and I must say it was delicious. My wife had a soup which was very good as well. This is strong complement coming from me, as I usually find that Vietnamese soups taste watered down to me. This soup was quite flavorful and good. This place is now my go to Pho. If your at the collection try this place out. You won't be disappointed. read more

We have been dining in this establishment long time ago and their service is the best. The food is always good as ever, and their staff are friendly and very accommodating even though they're busy especially Ann, she takes time to attend to our requests with regards to our needs. The food comes out fast, so when you're hungry, this is the place to go and you won't regret it. Their place is clean. We always refer our friends, neighbors and family to go to Love Pho. Whenever we have birthdays or gatherings we always spend it here. Our family at San Francisco love most of their menu here. They said so far it's the best that they have tasted. I've been here several times (more at the Newbury Park location) and enjoy all that I've had here. Overall I happily give them 4 starts, but... Yesterday (4/17/19) I had an experience that I wasn't thrilled with which I felt was worth sharing; hopefully management sees it as well. The service I received was horrible and made me feel like I was just a commodity and somewhat of an inconvenience to the staff. I walked up to the counter, picked up a menu. A staff member walked up to the register so I looked up and said "Hi". She responded with "What??" to which I said "I'm saying hello." and she responded "Oh." I told her I was ready to order and then she asked if it's for here or togo. When I told her it was for here she walked away without a word, grabbed a menu and a utensils set, and went to put them on a table. After setting them down she walked away from the table to the kitchen without even looking at me. I went and sat at the table when she then brought me a glass of water (which I didn't really want) and turned and walked away. I waited almost 5 minutes before someone came and took my order. (Remember when I said I was ready to order at the counter.) I was brought my iced tea, condiments for my Pho, and my meal in a timely manner and it was all tasty and filling. At some point before I was done eating my check was dropped at my table. After I was done eating I placed my credit card on the check which was promptly picked up and returned. Except for when my order was taken there was never a word spoken to me while I was at the table, nor as I was leaving the restaurant. Granted, there really is no obligation to ask me how everything is, if I need anything else, or to thank me for my patronage. But in my opinion, service is part of the restaurant business and it would be nice if they showed up even the slightest. I'm giving the 4 stars because in the past they've been better than this but I never took the time to write a positive review. I'm sure I'll return again, but if the service doesn't improve then I don't think they'd be worthy of the same rating. read more

I've been to this place plenty of times and have had no issues when ordering. For some reason the gal was super rude and seemed impatient. We ordered two green tea milk matcha with boba. The lady gave us our drinks, they looked white.. we tasted them and they were chai's. We went back to the lady and told her this was not what we ordered and she was so rude and annoyed and said that we'd have to pay extra for the drinks we wanted and that we didn't order our drinks correctly. Which we have ordered the same drinks 10 times prior already. So it was a waste money and she didn't want to change our drinks. I will never go back again, and I will let all of my family and friends about the service we had today. read more

Terrible food. My pho was cold and not exaggerating. I think they just filled it up with tap water and that was it. I asked them to heat it up in the microwave at least and they supposedly did and still cold. This place is overrated but since it's at the annex people that don't know what real pho taste like think this place is awesome. Never eating here again. read more

I really never had this cuisine before but I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. I ordered a noddle dish with lemongrass and beef. The noodles were vermicelli and the beef was sliced very thin and it was tender and very favorable. The dish also had sprouts, carrot and basil. I could eat this over and over. My friend had the short ribs and he also said it was very good. I give this new find a strong 4 stars. I will be back soon! read more

This is a great Vietnamese place. I've had the vermicelli, their special plate with beef, chicken and pork, and their Pho. It's all fantastic. I especially love their Bhan Mi sandwiches, they're perfect. They're exactly how I like them, just like the ones I used to get in SF at this little place by my old apartment. Brings back good memories. Anyways, this place is great and always consistent from the times I've been there. Not sure why others are giving them bad ratings. I highly recommend this place. I come from LA and I honestly haven't had anything this authentic since I lived there and would go to San Gabriel (the Vietnamese hot spot). I recommend getting the fillet minion with ginger. I personally don't like all of the tendon and stuff they often put in the pho but if you like that sort of thing they do a pretty good job there. Won't return to the Pho place again. Don't care for lack customer service the manager gave me. Very confusing try understand the extra charged they put on my simple order of vegetable pho without noodles. The manager accent Soo strong and she do care to resolve problem is simply fact that I will NOT go there again. Better off going Oxnard Pho 3 miles away to place my order, where they care about customer satisfaction and will make sure the order is delivered how customer wants it with No extra charged. read more

I give them one star because the food is okay. The "kids" working the register are all very rude. AND, when I asked for a receipt, the "kid" acted like I was asking for gold! Then when I got home, I realized that they charged me TWICE! When I returned the following weekend, I showed the "very rude Asian" my bank account and receipt and she actually told me that she did not believe me. After several minutes of asking for a refund, she refused to give it to me! For a refund of $12.39, I was extremely upset and will never go there again. I have told all the vendors in the outside market place not to trade there and if they do...CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNT FOR DOUBLE CHARGE! I won't even eat at any of the restaurants in the Annex because of this treatment I received...too bad one place has "soured" my attitude. read more
