I ordered the House Special Vermicelli (V3) and it too much rice noodles for the amount of meat it came with. The grilled pork itself has good flavor but the sauce you're supposed to pour over this dish was watered down and had no flavor. Same with another noodle dish we had, bland and not enough flavor. I stopped and got a BUCKET of pho the other day for something like $8.50. Yay!! It was fresh and yummy if it was on the salty side (pretty common with a veggies base). I had a tasty, not too sweet green tea boba as well. I was very happy with my take out and my coworkers were a bit jealous of my fresh. tasty meal. I wish there were separate ratings for food and service. Food is definitely a solid 5-stars but service has room to improve at 2-stars. I got lectured by the senior lady there because I grabbed an extra plastic fork next to the tray they served my food on at the counter. She told me "next time you should not get it yourself because of Covid". I apologized and totally understood and respected the reasoning. However, that rude and unfriendly tone were totally unnecessary. My family and I make it a point to eat at our favorite restaurants in support of their battered industry due to Covid. We want you to survive and so we ask that you please connect with your customers like you TRULY value them by being a little more charismatic. Besides, please do not put your utensils within a customer's reach and not label it as not for self-service otherwise and if you do please make sure people can read it. And, when your customers make mistakes, be nice in pointing them out (if you have to) because you need them more than they need you at this time. And by the way, you forgot to serve my soda and when I walked all the way back from the outside to get it you didn't even apologize and just handed it to me like I was a bother. Why? I was very polite. I still think you have some of the best Vietnamese food and will tell people about this. Unfortunately I will also have to share my experience. Came for a late lunch and it's located in the food hall annex at the collection. A little niche location within the food hall and first time here for me. I didn't feel like eating too much so I ended up getting a Banh Mi from here instead of a Pho like I usually do. I've had my fair share of Banh Mi's and while the meat inside didn't disappoint, the portion size to price point disappointed me. I ordered the house combination banh mi (#1) and it comes with three types of vietnamese deli meats, (one being similar to Chinese char sui, one is similar to a processed deli meat like balooney, and the third is like roast beef consistency), with the customary jalapeno, pickled carrots, cilantro, onion, and butter. A bit off with the butter since I'm used to a different condiment instead in the banh mi. While a good amount of meat and vegetables are offered, the Banh Mi is so small. The french roll is practically half to 3/4 the size of what I am used to having at other locations. The Banh mi bread was a bit crunchy, but it was a bit stale and chewy at both ends. If I was very hungry, one Banh Mi from here would not have satisfied me and a second or another order of food would be needed. The people I went with had a Vermicelli (Bun) with a grilled meat (I think it was beef). At the end, I tried a little bit and I almost couldn't stomach it down unfortunately. The bowl itself looked ok and appetizing, but the amount of oil made me gag a little bit. Bun is meant to be light, refreshing, and an alternative to Pho on a hot summer day (to my knowledge). Having this Bun (or Vermicelli as they called it) did not make me think that. Instead, having the raw vegetables with all the oil from the grilled meat made me think of half-cooked stir-fry noodles instead. A bit off putting and I am unsure on whether I would want to try a Bun from here ever. Overall, if I didn't want anything else from the Annex, I would venture another try for their Banh Mi or even their Pho before trying out their Bun. The food is edible and don't expect service to be decent - it's an Asian place. Side-notes: Despite ordering the food using the Vietnamese names (Banh Mi house special for example), the server would say #1 sandwich instead. Not sure why, but I thought it slightly weird. Very Americanized menu, that's what I thought when I saw the menu. read more

Definitely would NOT recommend this place. They don't care about the coronavirus. They gave our order to someone else and then the lady returned it. The guy asked us if we still want the spring rolls because the lady didn't touch it. We said no and would like it remade. And he insist that she didn't open the box, he then proceeds to open it and touches all the spring rolls saying "see she didn't touch it".... while he touches it with his gloves he's been handing out food with? The fact that we had to ask twice for it to be remade when it's been touched by 3 different people (person making it, the lady they gave the wrong order to, and the guy who insist it's still good to eat). Consistent quality with food. If you get beef, sometimes it can be a little on the fatty side and it can be hard to chew, but it's not a deal breaker. They have amazing fried rice and Thai tea. My favorite pho spot now by far. Their meat they use in their pho isn't like some other pho shops. It's really clean cut and low fat. Everything always comes out super hot and fresh! Pretty much everything here is good: their pho, their egg rolls, their fruit teas, and combo rice plates are all things I would recommend trying. I was excited when they opened the Vietnamese spot inside the mall, and to my disappointment they had bad sandwiches. I thought nothing could be worse, until I had love pho cafe sandwich. I love another ph ö plave all the way across town and thought this plave would have the same effect of me to, well it didn't. It was mediocre. It didn't have much flavor and the eggrolls were a let down. I can say that the portion sizes were reasonably big and there was lots of chicken, more than actual noodles, but that doesn't make up for lack of taste. I ordered an order of eggrolls, a pho dac biet, and an almond milk tea with boba. As much as I really want to love this place, it was only mediocre. The eggrolls were thin and crispy but the filling was lacking in meats and substance. The soup was relatively authentic but the noodles were thin and a bit too soft for my taste. The Almond milk tea was powdery but the flavor was decent not to mention the boba was soft but also lacking in sweetness. As an Asian person I would have to say that I'm an expert when it comes to boba.
