But as a Bridesmaid in my friends wedding, I had to get my nails done. After spotting The Beauty Room's good reviews, I decided to give this spot a try. On a less busy day/time, I felt the safest I could have in a salon. I truly appreciated that the staff wore their masks properly and social distanced. Because I was there mid-afternoon, it was very quiet. Jessica did my gel pedicure and she was fantastic! Trust me, there is such a thing as a bad nail professional. But Jessica is highly-skilled and even color matched the color I needed to match my dress. She's super personable and I liked her so much I immediately followed her on Instagram! I wish the pedicure chairs were adjustable. I'm tall and felt very crunched up and uncomfortable, but not much can be done about that. The salon is super clean, spacious and newly built. They have a free parking lot behind the business...but don't be fooled by the "you'll be towed" signs. You can park there as long as you're at the business. The Well House offers everything from massage, to facials, to halotherapy and more advanced cosmetic medical services. I assumed they were more of a serious medical spa, but they do offer traditional spa services. A friend had suggested trying a B12 shot to potentially improve some health issues I had been having. I booked easily online for a 5-minute B12 injection with nurse practitioner Mikayla. It will ask you to book for 15 minutes, but know you'll be in and out! Mikayla was approachable, warm and made me very comfortable. I would easily recommend her if she is available at booking for any future services you might need. The Well House is a really interesting historical building. It combines old roots with modern touches and the owner continues to put a lot of effort into the maintenance of the space. They have multiple floors including a halotherapy room! For accessibility purposes, an elevator is available for use. If you're a consistent high-end spa goer, they do offer membership packages. Overall, I had an extremely positive experience here and can't recommend them enough!

I usually don't come into hair appointments with much of a direction because I have absolutely no knowledge of what "works" for me and I think that's exactly what Jackie excels at creating. Additionally, I've always been told that I shouldn't go blonde because it would look bad with my dark eyes and an olive-y (not my words- I think I'm pale lol) skin tone. Well since no one likes being told what to do I decided I was going to try it and Jackie NAILED IT with the color - it looked so wonderful on me and I personally like it better than brunette me. She gives you a realistic expectation of what she thinks she can achieve while still keeping your hair healthy and won't tell you that she can do anything she doesn't think is viable. Neither of us thought we would get my hair as light as we did so it was a pleasant surprise :) Aside from talent, this saloon is super welcoming and the staff seems to genuinely get along great. They have all your boujee hair care needs with Kevin Murphy products (if you have super dry hair you neglect for months on end like I do they're a necessity). I love that the sinks are adjustable to your height which makes getting your hair washed a much more pleasant experience.
