Ok so I had got my lashes done here for the first time about a month ago. Firstly, when I scheduled an appointment at 5pm I had to wait like 20-30 minutes before she started on my lashes (that was annoying). Secondly, After the second day, lashes were falling off. That definitely shouldn't of happened because I had took care of them by keeping them dry, properly brushing them and correctly keeping them clean. Thirdly, the quality of the lashes were not that great because maybe as a week went by, my eyes were itchy which that was very irritating. The lady was nice but as she was doing my lashes, she would pick up phone calls and stop to talk to coworkers intermittently, and not really focusing on my lashes. Overall I'm disappointed that the lashes did not last as long as they should've, and the lack of professionalism this experience was. I'm making a review now about it because I didn't have the time to post a review right after, nor try to go back to try to resolve the issue. I don't think I will return in the future. read more

Shortly after leaving my review Tanya reached out to me via text letting me know I could come in and she would re do the lashes because I'm probably allergic to the glue. My husband suggested I cut my losses at the original $100 but I think everyone should get a fair shot so I made an appointment to go back in that upcoming Wednesday, 2 weeks after my first appointment - remember the lashes she had originally told me would last 3 weeks. On Wednesday I went in and Tanya had me lay down so she could get right to work. As she prepped my lashes she said multiple times that there was no way for her to know my skin was sensitive and that most people are not and that I must have been rubbing my eyes a lot. I did not rub my eyes a lot, I'm not an idiot. It went on and on her telling me that I rubbed my eyes too much and that she couldn't have known. At one point I firmly said, "I'm not going to tell you again I didn't rub my eyes, they were falling out, they were crusty." It was incredibly condescending and frustrating to be at her will and have her talk to me like that. Only when she had my eyes taped up (or whatever they do - at no point does she explain what's happening) did she say, "how much did I charge you last time?" I said, "$80." Her response, "Okay this time I will only charge you $50." What the heck?! So you're not fixing them for free, I get that, cover your cost of business. I should have asked in advance what the cost would be. I don't think I was wrong assuming it was free because they fell out in under two weeks, they irritated my eyes, and YOU reached out to ME wanting to make amends. But $50 really? And you only tell me this after I've arrived, lied on your table and listened to you accuse me of messing them up? Super unprofessional. At this point I say okay fine because I literally just wanted to get the appointment over with. She continued to tell me I had sensitive skin and at one point I had an itch (where the tape was on my nose) and she said, "See, you're so sensitive you need medicine!" Are you kidding me lady? It was beyond rude. I told her then I was going to sleep so she would stop talking to me - maybe that was rude of me but I was SO uncomfortable. Towards the end of the appointment she starts telling me how she works 6 days a week and she has to pay her nanny and how she loves working because she loves having money to go shopping. It was bizarre small talk to make with someone you've been so rude to. I felt like she was trying to make me feel guilty. When I was about to go pay she then asks if I will change my review and I said yes, so here is that updated review. More stars? No. The new lashes look great and I'm not bothered by the different glue at all. I'm very happy with how they look but I will never go back again because of how she treated me. I'm appalled that I've now spent $150 on lashes and it's been three weeks. You truly get what you pay for and I should have known better. Tanya please do not try to harass me via text, I will be blocking your number. Like others have mentioned I believe most of the positive reviews are fake, you can see where people updated their reviews and deleted the old ones because Tanya's comments are still there. My lashes were horribly made. All i could say is Tanya lost me as a customer today. I told her that I am going on trip to attend a wedding, but my whole experience was rushed and my lashes were uneven. She doesn't take time to address her customer's concerns. She will surely make you feel that you are an inconvenience. I was so disappointed and i even recommended so many people to her ( which i have now to tell them my recent experience) I arrived 20 mins early but she still had a client so I waited and I didnt start until 6:10. Then after she just wanted me to get up on the bed , didnt offer me a mirror, all she said was "ok done!" And she started cleaning up. A customer was already standing by the door waiting. I got up looked in the mirror and noticed it was uneven. Went to my car to grab more cash and looked again. At this point i was getting pissed off. I went back to ask her that the left side had less hair. I kindly ask if she could fix it and if not, I'll come back the next day. No response and gave me an awkward silence, she then said she'll fix it. Took me to the next room and told me to lay there and im pretty sure the bed was dirty. Mind you, im giving her a chance despite risking my international flight the next day. Just to fix it properly! She ended up then making the left eye thicker than the right eye. Do you know the feeling that after a long day of work, you just wanted to have a nice service and get the best out of your hard earned money, but noo! My very first appointment with her was great, I received so many compliments, and my lashes lasted more than six weeks. But this time I noticed the quality of the lashes were too cheap and some of the hair we're hanging and falling off already. Too pissed to write more. Tanya rather risks losing clients than giving good service. She definitely booked too many people she can actually handle. Which ended up causing such poor quality work. I trusted her to do my lashes for such an important event. My right eye is an almond shape and the left is round. Yes, i look really weird on my pictures! Such a waste of time and energy.I am NOT coming back anymore! P.S. she would chitchat with her co-worker who was coming in and out of the room. Sounded like they were arguing next to my face which really did NOT help her perform her best service cause she was too distracted! Update: she saw my review and wanted me to come in for free of charge service. Texted me multiple times! I've been coming to Tanya for lashes religiously for 7 months straight! I always get compliments on how good they look. She does an amazing job of making them look natural and they come out perfectly every time I go to see her. I workout everyday and take 2 showers a day and mine last 3 weeks. Anyone complaining about them falling out in anything less than that time are probably not caring for their lashes properly. The trick is to not rub your eyes, especially in the shower. Yes, I wash my face at least twice a day because I struggle with acne, so no, you don't have to skip washing your face. Just don't rub soap or your hands over your eyes in the shower or elsewhere. They look so good, I also don't wear mascara on them at all, only on my bottom lashes. So I'm sure the lack of product on them helps, too! I really enjoy every visit! Tanya is very meticulous, but fast, so I'm always in and out in an hour or less. The salon also offers free valet in the parking lot right outside the front door on weekends! read more

This review is purely on their waxing, I have not gotten any lashes or nails done here. I've been coming for about a year, 3 times I have had a Brazilian wax. First time was AMAZING! Looked great and my experience was nice. Second time I faulted myself for going on a weekend, it was rushed and patchy, I got a rash after the second time, I blamed my sensitive skin. But I went in last Monday at non busy time, not only was my experience so painful, it too is patchy. I nearly cried having this woman continuously wax some of the same areas over and over and over again. I was so excited to get my lashes done for my best friends birthday. I'm super low key and asked them to do a natural look. When I saw the lashes they looked so over the top I told her that I wasn't happy. She said that because of my skin tone that I need big lashes. I even showed her an image before she started of what I was looking for! But she didn't listen. The next morning I tried to fix them myself by washing my face to see if they'd fall off. I was under water for like 7 mins in the shower, I tried trimming them and making them look more real but they're still over the top. I called the owner to see if she could not fix them herself but she said she is booked and I should contact her sister who didn't listen to me in the first place. Update- Later today I got a text from Tanya that she could fix my lashes! I went back in and in a matter of 30 mins I was completely transformed. Best place for lashes! The first time I did lash extensions was here and I fell in love. I have been coming consistently since Tanya did them for me and she makes it so easy to schedule. I got my lashes done here and they were getting patchy so I came back for removal. Removal of lashes was painful and it shouldn't hurt if it was done by a properly trained technician. My lashes took an hour to remove they kept having to yank the lashes out after soaking it with some solution with a cotton pad and had me in tears because my eyes were burning so bad from the solution and yanking. read more

Which leads to the second turn off: the lady was very pushy for me to spend more money off the bat... Tanya has mixed reviews and I'm here to give an honest good one. Its been two weeks and my lashes are still perfect! I called many places on a Friday afternoon hoping to book ASAP for an event Saturday night. Some people never answered or called back. We were both on time and she got straight to work. I asked her about length and agreed to size 11. She did not talk about style, amount of lashes or price. But beforehand I asked her about prices. She said it depends between 60-120. I understand that the more lashes and type of lashes are pricier. Every technician comments on how sparse and thin my lashes are. So I know I can only hold so many lashes. Even though I do not use as many lashes as other women, the result of the extensions still looks beautiful and a huge Improvement! Mine were $60. She finished in an hour. She was very efficient, pleasant, and the lashes have lasted so well these two weeks! Even after many showers and washing my face, moving all around in my sleep, some accidental rubbing of my eyes, they are good and I can tell they will last awhile longer! I've tried many lash places in LA, they are generally overpriced and overrated or under priced and mediocre. I recently stumbled upon Lovely Lash (2 minutes from my doorstep). It had rocking reviews and was crazy affordable. Funny how the LA culture suckers you into believing it has cost a lot to equal quality. WRONG! Tanya at Lovely Lashes is pleasant, FAST (1:15 application) and efficient. I didn't have a preference of type/style and she recommended a great option due to my eye shape and brow shape. Obviously her suggestion was spot on and I love them! Full set of luxe lashes and 40% cheaper than the majority of other spots. Granted parking is abysmal (small strip mall lot) so if you can go during off hours, try. Other than that, nothing but love for Lovely Lashes! read more

I really liked the lashes i got here, i have gone to other places . One was 65$ but the lashes were not as nice as i have now experienced. So i wanted a fuller look then i got at the 65$ place and decided to shop around. Second the girl at the front was nice and offered me refreshments which i appreciate and i think is a plus on them. Okay when i arrive i was 7 mins late because i could not find "Lovely Lashes" when i get there the receptionist tells me that she will be right with me. Okay , i was forgiving because honestly i texted her to tell her that i was running late 15 mins due to traffic. But my 2:30 appt. was now spilling into 2:50 and i had to take my daughter to her class so i wanted to reschedule.
