Kate is awesome! I found my new go to person for Brazilian Blowouts! Kate is super down to earth, really friendly and outgoing. And most importantly she gets it done!! I mean isn't that what it's all about? Getting our hair did and having amazing service? I had my appointment with Kate at the Dos Logos location. I did get a bit lost trying to find her suite inside, and with my horrible sense of direction- I ended up walking past all of the suites before I found hers lol Next time I will know where to go though. Also, I was a couple minutes late because it was hard to find parking. I circled the parking lot a couple times hoping a close spot would open up. Told her my hair was about 5 inches below my shoulders and she said if I needed the additional half ounce it would only cost about $15 more and she said that I did not need to buy the Groupon. She charged me $147 and kept taking and made a phone call or two while I was in the chair. Being someone who is normally very frugal, I used to dye my hair at home with those box colors. I would generally get a haircut about every six months. One day, I came across Lovely Locks on a groupon and decided to get my hair cut and dyed by a professional because it was such a good deal. The person my appointment was scheduled with had a family emergency, so Kate gladly made room in her schedule for me. The color was amazing and the customer service was awesome. I had appointment with KATE for color and cut. I saw her name in Groupon, I am very very UNHAPPY with her job. She has a very dry personality, she didn't offer any guidance. I told her I want the same color as my hair is, several times I emphasized that ; I do not want any darker than what I have, aftter she was done, my hair color was TEN shades drakes!!!! UNBELIEVABLE. After I called her and complained, she told me to shampoo and it will go back to the lighter color, well it has been two weeks and my color is dark brown, instead of very light/golden brown ( the color, before she colored). She offered me to go back to her and by applying some kind of chemical she will pull out the dark color, I choosed not to go back to her, I just did not want to damage my hair with unnecessary chemical. I truly think she doesn't know what she is doing. At the time she was cutting my hair, she kept checking her phone and texting!!! Very UNPROFESSIONAL. I am not happy with her cut as well. Let's be honest you get what you pay for. Her offer was $47 for cut and color. She keeps advertising in Groupon, for 50% off, reason is because she has no customer base. She just gets customer for the low price she is offering and it is obvious that people do not go back to her.
