This time I did not have an appointment, and although I understand that you may be busy, I was brushed off with " sorry we can't take you". Although, three staff members were just sitting there, no attempt to accommodate an established client. Again, it was the bad attitude that bothered me. They told me 20 minutes, which was just about accurate - maybe a little longer. I only came to remove Acrylics I got on vacation, and get tips & dip again. They came out super, and I loved it!!! They're still on almost three weeks later, in fact! I will be going again for sure regularly. The only thing I'd change is that it can at times feel a little rushed, but seemingly only when they're super busy. Also, the music this last time was loud and odd Christmas music. I can get past it though, but certainly it was a bit annoying.

Everything seemed fine at first, but the very next day my gel polish--originally pink--turned an orange/yellow color. I was away for my birthday at Foxwoods Resort Casino and contacted the salon as soon as I got back about a week later. When I went in, the owner asked to see the polish and even said it looked like something was wrong with it. She had me pick a new color and another employee did a simple color change. Here's where it became frustrating: when I went to pay, they tried to charge me $35, then lowered it to $15 after the owner stepped in. When I questioned why I should have to pay anything, I was told it "could have been from the sun." That makes no sense--gel polish should not change color from normal exposure, and in my case, my toes weren't even exposed like that. They even threw out the original polish, which tells me they knew something was wrong. Still, I was made to pay $15 to fix a mistake that wasn't mine. The whole point of a pedicure is to have it look good, and to be charged again for a clear product issue is disappointing and unfair. I won't be returning.

Then she went after them with a cuticle scissor in a choppy fashion, leaving them ragged like I had been chewing on them. And this was a manicure I made an appointment for, not just a rushed walk-in! They also don't appear to be disinfecting their tools, as the manicurist just wiped off the cuticle scissors after using them. Yes it's cheap, but you run the risk of a bad infection. Stay away!!

Yadira and her staff put effort info making the atmosphere welcoming and soothing from aromatics to visuals and basically all my other senses. This was my first facial and I got the dermal infusion amongst other spa treatments that come with it, so I was pleasantly overwhelmed when I left feeling totally cleansed and exfoliated and didn't notice until I got in the car that I had to do a serious search in the mirror to find my pores! The changes in my skin since my consult with Yadira only a few weeks ago are amazing and inspire me to continue seeking her care, guidance and of course treatments, and I am excited to return.
