The only thing that really aggravated me was that I paid for the Deluxe Pedicure and I did not receive it. I have been getting pedicures for 16 years and every place that has done callus removal does it the same way. What looked like the manager of the business scrubbed my whole foot with the yellow loofa scruber (like they have everywhere) for a minute and called that callus removal. There was no mask either...which truly made this a regular pedicure. When I politely confronted the woman about it she emphatically denied it. This was incredibly frustrating as she would speak to me and then speak her own language to the other person (seemingly saying rude things). My toes came out fine--but if you're looking to treat yourself to the extra services--don't, you won't receive them.
Long or short...love this place. 4 min walk and they are attentive to what I ask for. Yeah sure some time it be that set that make u not come back, but there is hope lol. The hive is quiet, chill. Service is great.
Hanna does the best eyebrows it was my first time doing microbladding i love the results she was so gentle and asked my if i liked the way they were coming out as she did them.Definitely will come back for my touch up.Good job Hanna your awesome.
The vibe is quiet and calming but what most importantly makes me want to come back every single time is the way they take out my ingrown toenails when I get my pedicures done. They are so good at making sure the ingrown nails are out and want to keep double checking back with you to make sure you don't feel them anymore. I got this experience from Mini/Mimi last time I was here. I noticed with other nail shops that I go to they don't care enough the way this spa does about getting your ingrown nails out and they will think that you're being too needy and it's so rude and unprofessional for any nail spot to do that, but this place makes me feel good every time in my feet. So far, I've only gotten two pedicures and they've both been nice experiences where my feet feel so relieved from the pressure after the ingrown nails are taken out. Highly recommend if that is something you look a lot for in pedicures, and be sure to call in advance to make an appointment just so that you are respectful to them. I think they do take walk ins also but you might end up waiting a little longer depending on the day. They have an amazing assortment of colors to choose from. I've been coming here for years now and I love this salon! Nellie is THE BEST at manicures. She pays so much attention to detail. Catriona is the best for pedicures. Also, this place is very clean and has taken the appropriate actions to make sure their employees and customers can feel as safe as possible due to current circumstances. Some new protocols include temperature checks at door, adding clear dividers to separate customer and employees, hand sanitizing upon entry and masks are required at all times. Not to mention prices are very reasonable!
Still love it here. Today, October 8, 3018, James did my nails. I love them. He put in so much passion into getting my nail shape and color perfect. He was funny and kept up a great conversation. I will definitely have him do my nails again. I know it's been super busy and Hannah and Demi are always booked. And now I found their equal. James is great. Amy just gave the best massage ever. She is the match to Tracy who has always done my feet. I never knew any who could match Tracy until today. Amy made my feet feel like Heaven. A fifteen min massage aside from my regular deluxe spa pedi. This was amazing. She is my new go-to gal aside from Tracy. At least now I know I can continue to come and get great service regardless if Tracy, Hannah and Demi aren't here. These two employees are exceptional. I'm super impressed and happy. My legs and feet feel happy. Thank you Amy Came in on a Monday night after work and he had no problem with being able to accommodate me. I appreciate that. He also took his time. Demo did an amazing job on my nails!!!! I love them. I went on a Tuesday and it was a very chill environment. Parking was available on the street. I could see this being difficult on a weekend but for 1pm on Tuesday I was cool. Demi did such a great job on my nails that my mother and a few friends want to try her out. I will be back. read more

I'd rate it less if it was possible I left a review earlier about my nails falling off in a week but never had thought these dumb acrylics would end up taking my natural nail off completely and breaking my bone!!!! From an accident to a fucken injury incredible now I'm in so much pain and regret how you guys shaped my nail wrong color and lasted for a week and super glued some so good...never again!! read more

If I did not live 25 miles away from this place, this would definitely be my new nail place. I was in the neighborhood and needed time to spare. I was over due on a mani and pedi so I started searching on yelp for near by nails salon. This place had good reviews. It's a nice little nail salon. They had just opened for the day. Two nail techs were available so I was attended to right away. At my regular place I always have to remind the nail tech not to cut the corners of my big toe nail, for I don't want an ingrown nail to develop. However, since this was a new place for me I sat back and wanted to see how they did nails. I was very impressed that Ivy (gel mani ) and Foon (pedi) did exactly what I like without having to say anything. They took their time and did an amazing job. Thank you !!! read more

I went in to get my current acrylics off and to get a basic manicure (no gel as to why my polish is all messed up) the way they take acrylics off is so damaging I should have asked for a soak offf once I saw her try to peel the nails off with her own nails and then tried with an acrylic nail smh, she ended up doing the soak and used a drill to take the rest of the acrylics off, she ended drilling way too much and now my nails feel like paper and are peeling off, ALL OF MY NAILS ARE PEELING OFF AND ARE GOING TO END UP ALL FALLING OFF WTF read more

I had a great experience at Lovely Nails! I'm pretty peaky with my nails, mainly because my cuticles commonly get inflamed after my visit to any nail salon. They didn't hurt me at all! Besides that, the girl taking care of my nails was super careful while applying the gel nail polish and I got a perfect result! I highly recommend this spa! read more

A friend of mine recommended that I come here and I'm so glad I did! I've had my nails done a countless number of times by many different people, but this set is my favorite by far! Hanna was so kind and friendly and I'm in love with the way she did my nails. She knew exactly what I wanted and made it look identical to the reference photo I showed her. This was my second time coming, first time the lady who helped me was super welcoming and attention to detail, this time JOHN helped me and it was so uncomfortable. He did a poor job all together: was rough when filling (I said ouch a couple of times), got really upset when I asked his if he could file one of the nails cause it was too thick, started speaking to the other employees and they all looked at me (super uncomfortable) and my nails looked lumpy when he was done. They don't look like a professional did them. I am soo disappointed because i thought I had finally found my nail place. read more

Everyone is so friendly! Tracy is my girl now! I'm so picky with my nails and I told her what I wanted and she literally made them just how I pictured them. Hanna does eyelashes too! She makes them so natural and beautiful. Everyone's thinks my eyelashes are naturally long lol. I give this place all stars! read more

I love this place I've been coming here for the past two years. All of them are great and their work is good BUT, they really need to change their waxing space because it sucks. Every time I get waxed here is horrible and uncomfortable, they have a super mini space that it's filled with a bunch of stuff, today I waxed my underarms and there was no space, I was sitting in the corner or a bed with my arms up, obviously after 3 min your arms start giving up. Lee kept apologizing for the space and it's not their fault, she couldn't even fit inside the little room, i was shirtless with the door open where anyone could see me. I think they should not offer this service if they don't have adequate space. I will keep coming for my nails though because they do a great job. read more

I have been a regular customer of theirs for a long time now. I am extremely disappointed with the service I recently got done. I got dip powder for the first time and Hannah made me bleed so much! I did not like that at all. It is not the first time they make me bleed. I should have walked away there and then. They still charged me for the full service after cutting me pretty bad. I have been nice and have given them several chances, but definitely not going there again. 2 days later after getting my dip powder, it chipped off! I also did not like that my appointment was at 11am, and they had me there till almost 2pm. I used to really like this salon, but I am super disappointed! read more

Today 10/7/17 was my first time to this name shop! I took time to look at a bunch of different nail shops. This shop stood out to me, I was thinking today is Saturday & by the looks of the reviews this shop is busy! I called and made an appointment. I arrived a little early I walked in the shop I was greeted by every nail tech in the shop! Nice!! A lady ask how can I help you, I told her my name and she said please wait a few minutes. At that time I choose the colors I wanted my Gel manicure. I'm sitting in chair and my nail tech's name is Cindy whom I made my appt with. Cindy was Very gentle took the time to point out that my natural nails are very healthy. I had questions Cindy answered every last question honestly and confidently. Amazing nail shop!!! they were very specific about how they did my nails!! Tracy was my specialist and let me just say I will be coming back to her every two weeks!! My nails have never looked better. I'm so impressed!! The space was amazing and clean. Everything was neat and organized. The team works well together and friendly to everyone who walked in. I really wanted to like this place because of its high reviews and seemingly good prices--so I will start with the pros of my visit on 7/5/17: My nail tech (I don't remember her name) paid great attention to detail. She didn't like how the gel was looking on my nails so she removed it and started over. I really appreciated that. I also liked the older woman who did my pedicure. She didn't paint one or two toes perfectly, but she did the rest of the pedicure process very well. There are a couple reasons I'm giving this place 2 stars. First, the timing. It was myself, my sister, and my mother, and we all made an appointment at 6pm for three pedis, 2 gel manis, and 1 regular mani. We didn't leave until 8:30! My mother was soaking her feet for close to an hour before anyone was able to start her pedi. I've been to places that have gotten my entire family done (1 more sister so 4 people total) in less than that time--with better, longer lasting results. My big toe nail polish chipped like 3 or 4 days later--which I was upset about because my previous pedicure was still unchipped after 2 months from a different nail salon--and it wasn't gel! My white gel mani has already tinted a little, to a beige color. I don't even know from what as I don't really work with my hands. Also, the gel on my index finger has lifted and it hasn't even been a week... most of my gel nails last me ~at least~ 2 weeks, usually 3, so for my nail to have lifted after 6 days, I'm pretty upset. Lastly, they charge $5 per nail that you get a design on... that's a little steep especially if it's a pretty quick and easy design in my opinion (marble, that didn't take her very long). I've been charged $5-6 for the two accent nails at other places, where I got more intricate floral designs--never been charged as high as $10. Overall, while the ladies were really sweet and nice, I cannot justify the fact this it took 2.5 hours and my nails (gel mani and regular polish pedi) have already chipped/lifted. read more

I'm so happy I took the time to find a new place on yelp. I couldn't bare going one more time to the place near by to my job.(Lux Nails) I had my gel mani done by Nelly. She did such a great job at working with my super short and thin nails due to breakage and over filing from the previous technician at a different location. Their lines are clean and the work was not at all rushed whatsoever. Nelly insisted on making sure that I did NOT peel off my gel polish to avoid further damage to my nails. Because they are so thin, she reassured me she would do her best to help it from chipping. She even informed me that I can come back at anytime if it chips after only one week and she will fix it for me. She was very informative and even steered me away from a certain nail polish as she did not recommend it, but would happily use it if I insisted. I didn't catch the name of the lady doing my pedi but she was so sweet and did such a great job. Highly suck-able again. lol jk. I decided to do the callus removal treatment ($5) and she did such a great job. I'm extremely ticklish when it comes to the scrubbing but she never looked annoyed and really put in work. My feet are baby soft. I never felt pressured to use any additional services, or extras and that's such a plus! I only got gel, but the girl nect to me was getting a new set of acrylics and they looked on point! Considering getting some after my weak nail phase. First time here and I have to admit, Nellie did a great job on my nails. I am very picky when it comes to my nails and hate it when people rush, my nails look crooked or when the person doing my nails isn't focused on what they're doing. Nellie was the complete opposite! She took her time, made sure that my nails were aligned and when I asked for gold tips she gave me exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be back! The cuticles are my hack job don't mind them! I can be really extra. I'm picky about my nails. I've had two regular places that I went to for years and stopped because one of them had an extremely rude lady as the owner (and I was tired of her changing prices on me every single time) and they other place just stopped doing a good job. I came to this salon based solely on Yelp Reviews. After looking through several of them, I decided to call to inquire about the price, felt it was fair, and booked an appointment with Demi. She is THE sweetest thing ever. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my nails (medium length, almond with more of a point than normal) and she delivered and then some. My nails are thin (I hate them thick), they're narrow (if they're too wide, my fingers look like sausages), and they're all even. And she applies nail polish beautifully (it's not all textured and shit). Thanks boo boo. I'll be coming to see you and only you. read more
I came in on a Monday evening at 6:40pm and waited almost an hour because they were all super busy. Although they were busy and it was close to closing time (7:30pm), they were nice enough to still take me. The young lady who did my gel manicure ($20) and pedicure ($14) was very precise and did a great job (I wish I got her name). I love how they keep the same colored regular nail polish and gel nail polish together, ensuring the perfect match for your hands and feet. I think I found myself a new nail shop!! read more

I would stay far away from this shop. I came here and got a pedicure by TINA. It was hands down the worst pedicure i've ever received. Tina was very rude and I left with cuts and scrapes all over my feet. Not to mention she was watching tv on her phone the whole time she was giving me a pedicure!!! (Picture attached) When i first sat in the chair I said hello and asked her how she was doing, but before I could even get my feet in the water she was asking me to put my feet up so she could start the pedicure. I politely asked her if she wouldn't mind letting my feet soak for a minute and she told me "no" and proceeded to grab for my foot. So I said, "i'm sorry, but I would like for my feet to soak for at least a minute so they can soften." She ignored me & again attempted to start my cuticles. The lady working next to us (who was doing my mom's pedicure) told her to let my feet soak. Tina rolled her eyes and let my feet soak for literally 20 seconds (i counted) before pulling them out of the water. Irritated, she then rushed really quickly through my cuticles and asked what pedicure i wanted. I told her i wanted the deluxe with callus removal, which is $35. For the callus removal she didnt put the solution on my feet and let it sit before scrubbing...she just put the solution and started scrubbing right away with a very dry pomace. I asked her if she wouldn't mind doing the normal callus procedure, which is putting the solution, putting the piece of plastic, and letting it sit to soften the callus before scrubbing. She acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. So i pointed to the lady working on my mom right next to us, who was doing that exact thing. Tina again told me no and rushed through the scrubbing. She didn't touch the side of my big toe at all which was the only place i had dead skin so i pointed it out to her and asked her to focus on that. She then rudely said "i already did it". So again, i pointed at the dead skin staring us both in the face. (I'm paying for callus removal, so they're supposed to remove the callus right??) She then grabbed my foot and aggressively begin scrubbing (with no callus solution) cutting the skin all on the top and side of my foot and causing me to bleed! (see picture). She continued to rush through the rest of the pedicure but at this point that was fine because i just wanted to be out of her chair. I got this pedicure done on a Thursday and by Sunday the polish on three of my toes had completely come off. Not chipped! Just completely come off as a whole. In less than a week almost all of the polish was gone. The pedicure came out to $40 (i got french tip which was an extra $5). So i paid $40 for an attitude, a scraped foot, and a polish job that lasted less than 3 days. I always tip 30% on any nail service i receive (i'm a bartender so i'm overly generous with tips, but i feel like nail work is hard work and deserves a good tip for a job well done). I couldn't bring myself to tip this lady more than 10%. I get my nails done religiously every 2 weeks. I've never in my life had an experience this awful! If you go here, do not go to TINA!! read more

I booked an appointment early in the morning for acrylics and regular pedi. Upon arriving I asked the gentleman if they did Gel X instead. He confirm they did. My regular Pedicure from Lee came out great! However when it came to my manicurist, Trina switched it up and applied gel builder which I didn't ask for. Now I've gotten basic acrylic colors from Tina that came out great but this time around I asked for a special design mocha tip and came out with a sh*tty, crooked, lumpy french tip. What made me mad was she could of told me she didn't know how to do it in the beginning and saved us both time. There was a lady Hannah-Anna who was attempting to do the mocha look and a chubby chick that gave me a dirty look and gossiping in their language which I thought was super childish. GROW UP and mind your business! But anyways, I tipped both Trina & Lee because that's the last time I will be going there. read more

Good experience overall! Quick service and nice nail techs. I was disappointed they couldn't do my design but I was happy they attempted first without making me pay for it. It was regular nail prices (well if you're range is 30ish. I got my feet and nails and it came out to $35. UPDATE; they didn't inform me that coven shape was extra cost. I would have gotten regular or even kept the coven if I knew it would rack up my price from $20-35 read more
I wish I took advantage of nail salons before I moved to Seattle. Cali has so many affordable and great nail salons. I was in town for an event near LAX and my toes were looking haggard. It really bother me whent he polish starts peeling. I"m not one to upkeep very well or do it myself. I'd almost rather NOT have polish than have chipped polish. It just bugs me. aghhhhhh. ok now that i've gotten that out of my system. This place is da bomb! Super cheap and they accept credit cards. Parking is street only and its a no frills place, but they are GOOD value! I haven't found an affordable gel pedi like this in awhile. The only thing is they really dig hard at my cuticles. Not sure if it's cuz i'm a newbie to regular pedis, but it hurt!!!!!! The massage portion was a 1/5. She was a cute old lady so i wouldn't expect her to dig in HARD. But i've been to some places that have given me hardddd long massages. They have an intersting way of doing things... so two older ladies are the ones that do the prep for the nail artists... Then when they are done, the nail techs are the ones that paint. It's a pretty efficient process and I thought that was brilliant. I brought Dan here to experience his first mens pedi. This is my third time coming to this nail salon and I can honestly say I really love the staff and their nail services. Whether I'm getting a new set or a fill, they always come through and create awesome nails. I always get compliments wherever I go! I initially came here because I saw that they have chrome. When I went in today, they told me they just got fairy dust so I tried it out and I love it. They have a wide range of colors too. The staff is attentive and their prices are unbeatable. I've paid a lot more for average work at other places. This spot is the best I've tried and they keep up with latest trends. Btw, all the nail techs do a really nice job. read more

I always call ahead, even if I'm on my way. They always accommodate and I don't have to wait once I get there. I've been helped by Demi a couple times and she's amazing! Place is small, but cute, and can accommodate a great number of clients. Parking can get hard when it's busy. Ive had to park in a plaza across the street. Cards are accepted, but they have an atm free of surcharge(for tipping cash). All workers are friendly. read more

Ok so I've been going here for 3 months now and everything has continued to be great. Along with Vickie doing my nails Nellie has also done them a few times and she's awesome as well. I have brought 7 new clients to them and all but 1 was happy and returned. The one that wasn't just felt she was handled too rough and I understood. The shop was very hectic that day and all were pretty rushed. When I first came, my nails were super short and weak because I hadn't been going anywhere. I've cut them and shortened them a few times but having a good regimen with good solid quality products has helped tremendously. I love this shop and their commitment to good customer service. Very rarely do I review nail salons, hair salons, or any other personal grooming/hygiene salons in general as they are a dime a dozen. As much as I want to say "I woke up like this", I gotta give credit where it's due when I do find places that go above and beyond. I love this hidden gem of a nail salon in a not-so-pretty part of the South Bay. It's a very small nail salon. I repeat -- VERY. SMALL. There are only 5 nail technicians and 5 spa pedicure chairs. I've been here a handful of times, both on weekends and weekdays and I always see the same ladies working and they are awesome at what they do. I have gotten fills, gel manis, and spa pedis by all 5 nail technicians. All of them are extremely meticulous, nothing ever feels rushed. Hanna and Demi are my favorite for fills or gel. They are so detailed and I never feel like they are judging me when I ask them to file my talons even pointier :P I used to go to another popular nail salon in Torrance, who shall remain nameless. I stopped going after they raised their prices but bitched out on service level. Because they were so popular, it always felt like they were trying to get through as many clients as possible. It felt like they were herding cattle, spending no more than 20min on your pedi just to get you out of their chair faster and onto another client. I'm fine with businesses raising their prices to stay consistent with the economy, but don't skimp on the quality of the service that is your bread and butter. That said, the prices here are amazingly reasonable and I'm always surprised by what they charge me (I hope they don't read this). Word of advice: CALL AHEAD. Even then, if you're short on time but insist on coming in on only THE busiest days and times of the week, expect to wait like the rest of us. You don't want them rushing your mani or pedi, so don't expect them to rush someone else's. If you're not ok with waiting, come on a weekday or early Sat/Sun morning. read more

It is hard for me to stay committed to a nail salon only because I am always on the go and don't do well with appointments. Most of the time I am a walk in and stop by places on my way home from work or near my house. I stumbled across this salon on yelp and based on the reviews I decided to stop by on the way home from work. Overall, I had a great experience. I had a pedicure done and the lady who did my toes did a great job. I didn't get her name. She was an older lady and super sweet. Usually I have my nails and pedicure done at the same time but they were super busy so by the time my toes were done I was moved to Cindy's station. She did an amazing job and honestly I wasn't going to do a design but she talked me into it and I loved it. I spent 2 hours there, but my own fault as I was a walk in and not an appointment. I am not too sure how long I would have had to wait had I had an appointment because it seems to get packed there. Based on other reviews you will spend a good amount of time there. I am ok with that. Shows that they take their time. I will definitely stop by again read more
