Another great restaurant in the Gulf Gate area. We had the strawberry crepes, egg Benedict and French toast. All were excellent . We saved room for their double Chocolate Yule log. It was so delicious, we ordered one for Xmas along with a Strawberry and lime log. read more

If there were 10 stars, I would still want to give my rating more! First of all, Susan and Haley, with their smiles, welcome you with open arms. It was my first time there with my husband and we could not have asked for better service. However, then there is the food. So many wonderful items on the menu that it is difficult to decide. My husband decided on a breakfast bowl with chia pudding, fresh fruit, granola and avocado toast. I ordered the berry pudding French toast. His came out first and I was immediately jealous! That didn't last long! When mine came out, I knew that I won. However, being that I am a small eater, I took his avocado toast and they put my full meal in a to go container. There was more than plenty of food and with each taste, we both raved about our good fortune of finding this restaurant. We decided even before we left, that Lovely Square is now our FAVORITE restaurant of all time!! BTW, when we got home, I just had to open the to go box and try the French toast. I wish that I had taken pictures. This was our first time here. We live in the area and had heard that it was good. We had been given taken out from here once and it was good. Today my husband and I had lunch there. I am beyond picky and so is he. I had the vegan bean burger and he had French toast. It was fresh, tasty and really quite delicious. Comes with choice of sides--we both had soups, his crab chowder and mine a ginger carrot turmeric coconut vegan that was just right in terms of balance of flavors.
