Ugh... do NOT believe any of the promotions on the signs. The sign says "buy a coke product & get a $1 off Pringle's". Then, we pay only to realize we didn't get a dollar off AND Pringle's were $3.59! After wasting 10 mins we finally got our money back for the Pringle's bc they don't know how to honor their signage the correct way or maybe they couldn't figure out the math. ‍ We left only to realize that we STILL got ripped off! Another sign said Buy 2 Red Bulls & Get 1 Free.... We did NOT get one free. This place is a complete rip off. The cashier had no idea what he was doing. He never even gave us a receipt after the first transaction. I saw the total as my BF was paying w his card. ‍ He just said "oh... it's already paid for." Complete moron. Then, the other cashier said that this happens all of the time. So, they know that the register is screwing people & ripping customers off but nobody does anything about it. Keep Driving! DO NOT STOP HERE unless you are desperate for gas. We do NOT love this Love's. They apparently LOVE to steal from their customers.

It is now 17:15. The tire is not even off the rim. This is a screenshot of messages sent regarding service.

Service for a tire took better half of a day. The service personnel at the shop changed shifts and other customers who came after us were serviced before us. This is AFTER getting authorization from our company to fix a flat tire. The company had to call three times trying to figure out why and how this could be happening. It's sad after you talk to a customer service person (NANCY) and you come back into the shop for her to not even know she was just talking to you. Did this about three times in as many hours. A whole day of work wasted with EXTREMELY POOR customer service. The earlier worker should have left some form of paperwork? NANCY even checked to see if they had the right tire size, yet says she has no info on you or your truck. Huh? And she was told by a worker that there were 8 tires available of that size. Then NANCY tells you there are no tires? Even though you were standing right there when the worker told her about the tires. The number of times they went to the Love's Store (presumably on a break) since we've been here ... several, just leave it there. If at all possible, find another place to get your truck serviced. BEWARE. Travel Stop #484 I-10, Exit 682 Weimar, TX

Discussing unusable for CHILDREN restroom stall.

I do not recommend. While traveling through we stopped for fuel drinks and a restroom break. This is a prime example as to why Bucees is far superior than other travel stops like this one. If you're going to have signs posted up in front that says "clean places, friendly faces" they should get the friendly faces that work there off their cell phones and in the restrooms cleaning since they're being paid. Absolutely disgusting to try and take my son to use the restroom and having to walk out (not the only customer that opened the doors to stalls looked and walked away) due to negligence of the cleanliness of the facilities. I will be contacting corporate about this. Of course if I could leave 0 stars I would.

They sell their gas at the same price as the Valero across the street, the Snapping Turtle. I picked this one. The bathrooms here were disgusting. They looked like they hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Ew. The McDonald's seemed to be lightly attended, even at lunch rush. That's not a good sign. They sell coffee here, in cans it's more expensive than Starbuck's freshly poured. The drip coffee was some weak sauce. They offer liquid non dairy creamer, but half the flavors were out. The coffee area was also just as gross as the other places. They sell beer here. There's a walk-in cooler that'd be nice to make a careful selection in during the summer months. They sell the local newspapers. Meh- the gas wasn't that cheap. I'm not stopping here again unless I have to, and then, I'll be going to the Snapping Turtle across the street.

We all rejected grandpa's idea of getting pizza from a convenient store. Boy did we all feel silly when the pizza from this place turned out to be one of the best that we've ever had. It was $9.99 for any topping (a total of 9) large pizza. If you order regular crust in comes as a regular pizza pie. If you order thin crust then it comes in squares. We ended up getting three regular crust pizza. One with all 9 toppings, one with sausage, pepperoni and mushroom, and one with half pepperoni and half cheese. We all loved the pizza and ate everything. The pizza was made by a national pizza chain, Hunt Brothers Pizza. It even came with two half letter sodas. We all had a wonderful time with grandma and grandpa and the awesome convenient store pizza made it even more memorable.

I was like, "Um, ok, what's that about?" I got home and looked it up. I found out it was Texan company. Then I decided I wanted to visit the biggest Buc-ee's in the Lone Star State. We landed in San Antonio and rented a car. Thankfully it didn't have a California license plate. We drove to Luling on our way to Austin. We pulled into the Buc-ee's parking lot. We saw the gas prices. Gas in Texas is more affordable than Washington State. Took a photo with the metal critter in front of the entrance then made our way into the store. Spacious, busy. Bathroom was clean. We picked up some brisket sandwiches and some sodas. Food is more affordable in Texas. We also bought some souvenirs to take back home including a red shirt with the beaver.

Restrooms had two hand soap dispensers completely broken, paper towel in the corner on the floors, soda station a mess and not wiped, slushie station a mess, coffee sauces out, empty bottles sitting there, coffee machines dusty with beans all over. Come on Buc-ee's. Is the normal standard not there anymore. No more wow factor anymore? Or getting too big that procedure is being lost in the process? Didn't look like people were working and the ones who were seemed very unhappy and not guest focused. Coming from someone in management for the past 15 years. Maybe it's just this Buc-ee's that needs work?

I went in primarily to see if they could give me some human directions v car-made ones. The gentlemen on duty was super helpful and indicated I was very close to getting onto the main thoroughfare. He even walked me outside and pointed me in the right direction. I felt compelled to buy something since he was so helpful, but did not have an appetite that early in the morning. I did use the restrooms, which were super clean. Then I was on my way...back on track!
