In "Mommy and Me," I had Ms. Lety, who welcomed me warmly everyday in her class. With her experience and education, she listened to and understood us new mom. Since her class was full, I took a class with Ms. Gaby instead. Unfortunately, it was unpleasant. I felt like she tried too hard to be liked and understand our perspective, but judged me harshly instead. Her vibe seemed off, like she was hiding her true self. I wouldn't recommend her class. Not to mention, other moms also felt the same way towards Ms. Gaby, that they also mention they dropped or stopped going to her class. I thought it was just me. However, Larissa's visits were helpful throughout my motherhood journey. I'm grateful for her hard work over the past two years. She's the best, and my daughter loves her.

He's made friends there, and the staff has taken care of him for all these years. Mr. Antonio has been a steady presence from day one. Even when my son has gotten into trouble for poor behavior, the staff notified me accordingly and treated us with respect while firmly standing behind their policies. They also have the most extended hours available for before and after school care to give working parents more time for pick up. Eventually my son will outgrow the need for after school supervision, but until then, I fully trust that he's in good hands.

Back in the day, I did use to own a ton of tools to fix up my bikes but I left the sport and got rid of most of them. I recently bought a vintage bike off marketplace and just wanted to swap out the pedals to grippy flats. I ended up destroying 3 wrenches and wrecked my knuckles trying to get one pedal that appeared to be welded to the crank set. Nothing I did worked, so I decided to come here instead. I love the whole concept of this place. It is a community hub to go and get your bike taken care of. They have a ton of old parts available and it is incredibly cheap. I was able to use shop time at $15 an hour and the volunteers helped me fix up my bike and provide tips on how to fix things up. Nobody was able to get the pedal off, so I was able to buy a used crank set for like $5. Insane. I don't think I could have beaten that hunting for deals in fb marketplace. They're a great nonprofit and they sell a ton of used bikes as well. Out the door, with the parts, and shop time, I was only out $40. With the time, I was able to swap out the bottom bracket with a good used one, used crank set, and true 4 wheels. Insane. Normally at a bike shop that probably would have been a few hundred dollars to have a mechanic do it. I would highly recommend anyone who is handy and wants to learn how to wrench on a bike come here.

The center hosts a food and diaper distribution program a couple times a month for the community in partnership with local non-profits like Second Harvest food bank and Community Action Partnership. There are also youth and senior programs offered here. What makes the Delhi Center 5 stars for me now is the addition of the new City of Santa Ana Library they opened on site! I stopped in last month while I was there for a work event to get a Santa Ana library card. Any California resident can get a card.
