Super solid as far as sandwiches go. I have yet to try other offerings, but on the strength of sandwiches alone, I have to stan, as they say. The Rattler and the Little Italy are great options -- the former heavier on meat/toppings and the latter with a lot of flavor to spare. The condiments they combine are on point in both. ALSO, the pesto pasta salad is worth a try. There's a satisfying mix of elements there with the chickpeas and olives. These are not standard slapped-together type quick-service sandwiches. Feels like thought went into making them, as well as wrapping them. I'll go here over Jersey Mike's or Subway any time, sorry to name names. read more

Taking away another star. I was really hoping to hear from someone at First & Franklin on where their front door is. The door on First Street, where they say to enter, is locked. Super bummer. Easy to order with a quick turnaround, and the place has a really nice vibe. Sandwich was tasty and service was fast. I was leaning toward a 4, but I noticed they took past feedback to heart and added more condiment options, great to see a place that listens. The only thing I'd love to see next is bacon offered as an extra meat option and avocado added as a veggie topping; that would make me a regular. read more

Came to have lunch here on a Sunday afternoon and was able to grab a seat immediately. Service is thru a QR code so we just ordered that way. Great choice of foods to choose from as the menu wasn't packed with a million options which I liked. Ordered a couple plates to share and enjoyed all of it! Our favorite was probably the pizza with prosciutto. Would come back to try some of their drinks. Loved how they had some board games to play while you're hanging out too. read more

For the price of a 36$ dollars for a sandwich and kettle chips, I was not expecting such a small amount of meat in my sandwich. Disappointed to say the least. Ordered DoorDash paid extra on a Saturday for tip order completely wrong. Bread is hard dried out. Couldn't even call the store because they closed 30 minutes before they were actually closed at 4 PM. Will never order them again. Let's just say they don't even have the class of Subway. Don't order the Caprese sandwich they give you one full of a bunch of roast beef, and provolone. read more

The sandwiches here are next level. All the ingredients were extremely fresh. The bread was super soft and fresh just how I like it. The staff here is extremely sweet and helpful. I had about 10 sandwiches that I ordered and they were patient enough to help me customize each sandwich and made sure they labeled them all correctly so they wouldn't get switched up. Wanna feed the family? Get a sandwich from here. I built my own, marble rye, turkey, pepper jack, pickled jalapeños, pickles, mayo and mustard. The sandwich was huge! Definitely big enough to feed two adults. The marble rye was beautiful. I was a bit disappointed because the pickles were sweet. The jalapeños were a little on the sweet side too but had a little exciting kick to them behind the sweet. read more

Stopped in for a couple sandwiches today and they were fresh and delicious! They also had side salads, chips, cookies...everything I want for a picnic style lunch. First of all- I only ate here for two reasons. I needed something walking distance from my work downtown & I wanted to see what the hype was all about. We stopped by here today for a couple of sandwiches. My wife got the tuna melt which she enjoyed. She would have liked it better with cheddar. I got the shroomin sandwich. It was amazing! The mushrooms had great flavor and everything worked really well together. I got extra pesto mayonnaise but I don't think it was necessary. They do have premade sandwiches in case one is in a hurry. First time trying this place out and was very satisfied with my lunch. I'm a vegetarian so not being able to have a lot of choices at some deli spots is a let down. I believe they have a couple of vegetarian sandwich choices as well as meat choices which is awesome. I got the shroomin' sandwich with a side of picnic potato salad. The sandwich was way bigger than I expected and only ended up eating half. The only thing I would change about my sandwich is maybe toasting the bread. With a lot of places only doing takeout for COVID-19 (this spot included) you are not able to walk inside. You walk right up to the door and someone will help you. I would not order a sandwich again here ever! I ordered a BLT on sourdough add avocado. It came with the same amount of bacon you would add to a normal sandwich. It was literally a couple pieces of bacon, lots of lettuce, tomato and a small spread of mashed avocado. No Mayo or anything! I paid $15.03 for something that is not up to par. I could get a better BLT down the street at Nation's! I have gotten their salads before which are decent but still overpriced. This though is ridiculous. They need to step up their game. I'm so happy that there is FINALLY a place to get great deli sandwiches again in downtown Napa! They have a great outdoor area to safely dine for Covid. The store was very beautifully styled and very clean. I could spend hours looking at all the of retail items them have available!! I love this place! Their sandwiches are so so delicious and large! My favorite is the old F&F which is turkey, salami, cheddar, shredded lettuce, avo and tomato. I like to add mayo and remove the whole grain mustard. Pro tip, they have bacon you can add to any sandwich. This particular time I ordered via DoorDash and had a really good experience. I asked in the special instructions to add mayo and remove mustard and they did just that! I have waited for months for this place to open. Watched while the remodel was happening and the new place was coming to life. Was so anxious for them to open so I could try their food! I finally got the chance this week. I ordered the big Mike. Was amazingly delicious! Oh and it's huge so only half the sandwich filled my belly and I had the rest the next day for lunch so two meals out of $15 was a total score! Staff is also amazing and so friendly!! You know a place is great when you're not even finished with your meal and your making plans on what to have the next time you come by. I had to run some errands in downtown Napa with my mother and told her I've been wanting to try out this place I recently heard about. Everything on the menu sounded so good but I finally decided on the golden gate club with was so fresh and delicious and my mother got the jankbot, which she also said was delicious! Horrible. Dirty. Lazy staff. Always on their phones. Then make our food without washing their hands. There are always 3-4 people and they still cannot keep the place clean. Boxes everywhere, dining room is bad they don't wipe down tables ever. Given them to many chances. Girls who claims is Manager is just as lazy as the employees. Do better read more

I would take away some stars for only outdoor seating with limited shade. It Felt more like a food truck place. They do offer a store around the corner that that has seating. Parking is always challenging in this area. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, the second coffee still had a small amount of grounds at the bottom. It was much less than the first one, so I decided not to go back for a third time. I'm not sure if this was just an issue with the batch or the way the coffee was prepared that day, but it was a little disappointing, especially from a bakery with Bouchon's reputation. Aside from that, the coffee itself tasted good, the macarons were delicious, and I'm glad we stopped in. I would definitely return for the pastries and macarons--I just hope the coffee preparation is a little better next time.

Of all their biscuits sandwiches the Ham & Jam is the best expression of what a biscuit sandwich can be. Salty sweet and meaty but not overwhelming. Great 11am snack before wine tasting. They also have a sort of butcher shop where you can get things for cooking at home, typically sausages, pork or chicken with some southern flair, or Pork Verde which we've had over rice and just as a stew. Always excellent. They've also got a wine/beer selection that runs the gamut from casual to world class depending on your budget. Everything is good, and most you've never heard of which I love. They introduced us to Hanabi Beers at one of their events and we've been hooked ever since. We seek them out most weekends when we come up for the farmers market but if we were staying at a nearby hotel id stock my room from their shelves.

The tuna salad was pretty good - especially on the honey wheat. They have some pretty interesting sandwiches and the build your own option is also nice and has great options. The two people that I interacted with were super nice and what I could see of the inside (entrance was blocked due to covid) looked pretty cute. I would definitely come here again to pick up a sandwich! Pricing is reasonable for Napa, especially when you take into account how big the sandwiches are. read more
