So happy I found this place. AMAZING pedicure. There is no hot stone massage or paraffin dip. But that just makes you feel pampered. It does nothing to make your toes look good. If you want your feet and toes cleaned up - all that dead skin removed, all those overgrown toe cuticles, that stray hair on your big toe trimmed, your toe nails actually shaped and filed. This is the place to go. She gets your feet and toes sandal presentable. She takes the time to make sure your polish is perfect And best of all - my pedicures from here last 5-6 weeks. She welcomed me in and kept me comfortable until she was free. her manicure and pedicure were impeccable and she has attention to detail. I had made an appointment ahead of time, but my name and number weren't asked to book the appointment. I was the only one to arrive at that time, but a few minutes later, another person who had also been given the same slot arrived. They were kind enough to get their appointment rescheduled to later that day because someone happened to call in and cancel during this confusion. So generally chaotic appointment scheduling. I love getting to know more about people and their families. But after a delayed start, an impending arrival of the other person, pausing my pedicure repeatedly to show pictures, and being too engrossed in the chat, providing a poor quality of work isn't appreciated. We finally ran out of time at the end and had to rush through the nail painting. My nails weren't even cut to a decent shape before starting. Amy kept filing the same one nail repeatedly (while lost in talking about her family) to the point that it was too short and hurting. The cuticle removal was done so roughly that my fingernails had swelling around them the next day. This is the first time I've had this happen ever. Because we rushed through the painting, I had color on my skin and cuticles even when I left. The front of the nails had uneven coloring and showed the nail underneath it. The main door to the business was open the entire time, making the place noisy and full of mosquitoes. This was my second time at this place, but it was my first time working with Amy. I spent the next hour learning about Amy's incredible life story and her extraordinary love for her family as she meticulously worked on my feet and toes. I went to LoveSud Nails and Spa to get a regular manicure and pedicure done. I typically do them myself but wanted to treat myself for my birthday. I'm so happy I did! That was by far the best manicure & pedicure I've ever gotten done!! It was $35 for the pedi and $15 for the mani AND included a hot stone leg massage, heel paraffin wax, and arm and hand massage. Those services are usually extra at other places. Maggie was very sweet. She kept me engaged in conversation but not too talkative where you feel obligated to share. It was a bit chilly inside although I was the first appointment of the day at 9am so I didn't downgrade them for that. The atmosphere is comforting and clean and the massage chairs seem new. She was careless when cutting cuticles, didn't pay attention to where she put the gel which mostly ended up my cuticles. After the gel hardened she couldn't it either. Unfortunately I didn't have the best service this second time around. I had a 1:30pm appointment for gel manicure and pedicure with Amy and I didn't leave until 4:00pm. It wasn't because she took her time to do my nails and toes, it was because she was busy accompanying others/staff on other things. I get that it's a small salon and she is the owner, but I was highly disappointed that she didn't take the time and attention to care for my services. I didn't like the gel manicure she did and some of it already started to peel off around Day 4. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back. read more

I've been coming to Lovesud for two years now and I've had manicures and pedicures and they've all come out perfect. I've had them done with both Maggie and Amy and they really take time and effort to make sure every time you visit is perfect. They are both kind and friendly and very welcoming, they make it so once you step in you feel very relaxed and at home. My only tip is that you should always call ahead for an appointment they are very efficient, but they do book up very quickly and they hate to have to turn anyone away. 10/10 would recommend read more

My mother and I visited Lovesud for the first time last week. It is a quaint, cozy nail salon on route 20 in Sudbury. We decided to come here after having a less than pleasant experience at a larger Salon. What struck us both was how attentive the ladies were to making sure we had wonderful pedicure experiences, and we did! The pedicure includes the standard nail and cuticle attention, but it also is super for ridding feet of callus and dry skin. They use wonderful products that leave your feet and legs very smooth. My feet look like they did when I was a girl! Massage includes hot stones ( no extra cost) and parafin heal treatment ( no extra cost). This whole experience for $35! AND new pedicure chairs were being delivered as we were leaving so anticipating it is going to look awesome on our next visit. read more

I just had the most amazing pedicure by Amy. Almost one and a half hours spent. It was so relaxing and thorough. So much detailed attention to the cuticles, nail prep, smoothing the skin on heels and feet. I never had my feet soak for so long and the temperature of the water was so warm. I went to LoveSud yesterday to use a gift certificate and was blown away by the pedicure I got. It was over an hour from start to finish and included foot & calf massage, exfoliation, hot stone massage, and paraffin heel wraps. My polish looks amazing- random people are complimenting me about it, and for it to be good enough for people to mention your feet to you it's GOTTA be good. By the end of the service I was so relaxed I practically fell asleep as my polish set. Best part? It was $35. $35! What a steal- I almost felt guilty! Amy (the owner) was away for the week but Maggie took great care of me. She said it's just the two of hem so while they take walk ins, she strongly suggests you book an appointment so you get first priority. The salon doesn't looks super fancy like others in town but don't judge a book by its cover. Just try them out. You won't be disappointed. read more

I meant to post this a few weeks back after I had my first appointment with Amy at LuvSud Nail Salon in Sudbury. I'm an 86 year old guy who had never been to a nail salon before. I didn't quite know what to expect. I had heard some horror stories about nail salons from female friends who told me about the cold and indifferent treatment they often receive at some salons. I put off going until a combination of advancing age and some horrendous nail and toe problems made it expedient for me to do so. I'm glad that I did. I picked LuvSud because was something particularly sincere and enthusiastic about the previous posts on Amy's operation. The foot bath, foot massages and vibrator were nice touches, but it was the entire operation that hooked me and the warm personal welcoming Amy gave me. My feet haven't felt this good in years and I think my balance (always an issue with 80 + year old folks) has also improved. I will be a regular customer. I wouldn't have written anything this detailed if I wasn't grateful for Amy's efforts. read more
