We did a pick up order for their Loctus Grove location. I order Alfredo sauce and cheese for my bowl and there was none. We called to let them know and they girl who picked up basically said we didn't order from there, she asked us to read the order to her three different times, we had to describe the three people there. When even offered to bring the bowl back and receipt and she said no. Then they did nothing and told us that we need to take it up with the owner the next day. Instead of saying sorry and offering us just come pick up the side of sauce and cheese. Very disappointing service. I will say that the food that was in my bowl was good. This place is no frills but they have interesting and tasty items on the menu. I had "The Boil" which is a play on a shrimp boil with shrimp, corn, andouille sausage, and peppers. My son had the "Buffalo Chicken" which came with Buffalo chicken and ranch. They were both very good and the portions were good sized. Stopped in here for a quick lunch. It was just me and the teenager. We ordered off the preset menu and had tried the chicken philly and the oh boil. We also bought two cookies to try later. I subbed the fries for the baked potato in the chicken philly. I think I'd order it as designed next time. Also, I'd dine in and add some salt to my meal. It was made well but lacking on the seasoning. Teenager said the boil was a little spicy (which is how a boil should taste!). We tried the s'mores cookie warmed up once we got home. We have ordered with this location and have yet to be let down. The spuds are accurate and always fresh. The only reason I gave this review a 4 star was because of the quality of steak meat that they use. The best spud I've had here is the Yes I yam! My next order I'm going for the Chicken Alfredo!! It has been quite a while since I ate at Spudz. I tried them when they first opened. I got a to go order around 6 in the evening purchasing a loaded tater sans the scallions. I waited over 40 minutes to get my food to take home with people ordering after me and getting their food before me. Maybe I wasn't the "right" customer so others were given priority over me rather than the order in which we purchased our food. How long does it really take to take a potato you already baked and put a few toppings on it? The restaurant itself is very plain with no character or warmness. It only took 5 min to get home, but my potato was cold, tasted as if it was baked the day before, was dry with the outside potato peel inedible. The butter they put in it never melted...because the potato was cold. I am going to go back and give them another try and will update my review at that time. Sometimes business improve with time. I purchased the surf and turf baked potato with extra shrimp but honestly if the amount of shrimp I received was extra I wonder how many shrimp do they actually provide with out paying for extra I was not pleased based on the fact it was so little shrimp. There are too many toppings to count - meats, veggies, cheeses. You can also choose red potatoes, sweet potatoes or mashed potatoes. To go along with that they have salads and sandwiches. The drinks are all in bottles.
