I heard about this place from ChicagoVeg and checked it out today. As soon as I walked in, I noticed that the smell of the place was FANTASTIC. I don't even know what I was smelling but it was awesome. I ordered the BiBim Noodle, and my boyfriend ordered the Loving burger and the Heaven wrap. I also got a piece of pecan pie. The staff here is the sweetest! They remember you by name if you are a regular. And the food is always great quality. My favorite meals are the Mr. Curry sweet potato soup (it comes with toasted, olive oiled wheat bread) and the happy burger. Though, I love everything on the menu. This is a great spot! read more

I've walked by this place a million times and never went in. Finally a friend suggested it and I was blown away. I'm not a vegan but I do like to eat healthy. We had the BiBim Bowl and the Ever Young Bowl. Both were good. But the EVB was incredible and with a name like Ever Young I'll be back. P.S. Loving the Loving Heart. I am a long time vegetarian and had the Dragon Noodle-delicious. My eating partner (and life partner) is not a vegetarian and had the Curry Noodle. She loved it as well. The ingredients were super fresh and were bursting with flavor and color. I loved the complimentary barley tea, had flash backs of time spent in Korea. My family and I traveled a long way to come here because we ate at this same place in Houston all the time. We were so happy to see that there was a location here in Chicago no matter how far. But, I am extremely disappointed because we asked for GLUTEN FREE and was given a wheat wrap which we are unfortunately able to detemine now . A sweet, quiet place that almost looks more like a library than a cafe! This place was very calm when I visited on a Wednesday evening, and the staff was very nice. I overheard a few other patrons having very chill conversations about health and exercise, subtly judging their counterparts who still eat meat. Super casual (just this side of being a dive), but who cares -- it's perfectly comfortable, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. The Ever Young Noodles were as good as others have reviewed. My dining companion avoids meat-like substances, so ordered hers without the soy-beef, and was just as delighted as I was. It's rare to find a vegan restaurant that isn't just vegetarian food parading as vegan (seitan tacos, tofu BBQ, etc.) this place just serves good food that happens to be vegan. Loving Heart is a terrific find in our Uptown/Buena Park neighborhood. From the moment you step in the door you feel welcome. There is nothing I haven't tried on the menu that wasn't totally delish. The desserts are special, too. Prices are reasonable and decor is simple but hospitable. I come here several times a week especially if I am feeling sluggish or a little under the weather. I am not vegan but the food is inspiring me to make the switch---after a meal I feel light and nourished. Never missed the meat! read more
