I was at the Brea mall looking for clothes, and the Quay store caught my eye. I walked in and was met by a young friendly sales person named Mia. She could tell I was a little lost with the different styles and so she immediately helped me and suggested a few pair that she thought would look good on me. Quay was running a special for buy one get 1/2 off and so I asked her to hold the glasses while I grabbed my wife so that she can get a pair as well. Mia was amazing. She helped my wife find a pair that she absolutely loved and gave us a great deal on the sunglasses. I had an amazing experience and will definitely come back soon to buy more. The customer service was far from the expectation I would imagine you all train on. I came in with a E-Gift card with the order number and the girl with the glasses was able to find it, but your system would not come up with the barcode needed to scan. For the hassle and everything I went through I was just going to purchase the sunglasses anyways and figure out the GC after due to my wife and I typically only wearing Quay sunglasses. After I asked about a price match if a certain promotion was given I was quickly met with a sharp attitude. I I simply left as I was shocked at her tone, Great sunglasses, poor service. I now have to email and do the leg work to find this gift card as it was a present. Recommendation for staff get excited that people want to spend money at your establishment. read more

Mayra is the rudest manager I've ever encountered. There is a way to speak to a customer and Mayra obviously doesn't have that expertise. Don't work and represent a brand if you have the worst basic skills of customer service. On top of that, I had to wait for the manager Mayra to come back from somewhere for 10 minutes maybe more, meanwhile her associate who seems to be new has no idea what she's doing and she's calling Mayra asking for her code for the iPad or something because the associate knew I had been waiting for awhile. Horrible customer service, we walked in and were completely ignored. They didn't greet us when we walked in. Apparently it takes 2 reps to help a family while the other 2 reps were in the back. Ok fine, but when the family left they still ignored us. They acknowledged the guy that walked in after us but still ignored my daughter and I. Then the other 2 from the back came into the front and the 4 girls decided to just chit chat. Another group came in then and they also ignored them. We were in there trying sunglasses for over 10 mins planning on buying glasses but these sales associates were too busy talking among themselves, giggling, laughing and the long hair girl even stuck her tongue out and making finger gestures. Quay was one of my favorite brands. However, I just bought a new pair of the high key sun glasses and one of the nose pads came off. I drove all the way the way to this location to see if I can buy a replacement pad and workers didn't even acknowledge my issue. They basically just said to go to lens crafters to find a replacement. You would think a store that sells only sun glasses would have replacement parts. Customer service here really sucks. I ended up going to sunglass hut to get the replacement part and the guy at the cashier said I'm not the only person that went to that store complaining about their service. I've loved Quay for a few years now so I'm super stoked that there's a store now! Like, HERE! JUST TAKE ALL MY MONEY! The space is small, I forget what used to be here before. Two walls of all the beautiful sunnies on either side of their cash wrap. There are mirrors throughout, so if you want to try on a pair or ten, feel free. There are seriously so many on display that its almost impossible to not check them out. Theres also some tables with more sunglasses and accessories. The girl who was working on friday 8/29/17 in the afternoon was super sweet. I pointed out my favorite pair on a shelf (My Girl) which I already owned. When I asked "oooo whats that one?" on another shelf she told me it was also My Girl and joked "thats how you know when these are you, when you start seeing double." I had com e to Quay because I wanted to fill my lens prescription, and I had seen some cute Quay frames. I had been to this location before so I had already known where the prescription frames were. The frames unfortunately didn't look wiped down so I asked the associate if they had wipes. Luckily they did, so I was able to wipe down the glasses as I tried them on. I finally found a pair I liked and one of the female employees helped me. I already had my prescription so it was super easy for her to insert all my info into her iPad. it took about 20 minutes to insert my prescription, confirm my information, and pay--which is a pretty fast process in my book. My glasses are estimated to come in 21 days and I cannot wait! Thanks so much for the help! read more

I really liked the glasses I got. I haven't seen a pair of glasses and thought, yup. This is it. So the product itself is great and I'm really enjoying it! So I picked up my pair but I'm gonna be real, Jennifer who works there needs to fix their attitude and learn some basic customer service. Pretty rude and I'm patient when it comes to this kind of stuff but this time around it really bothered me. I'll find another store to go to. Update: I realized that they were whispering and giggling "should we tell him" as I was trying them on. I ignored it and still bought my pair. Found out just earlier that I bought a woman's pair, which I could care less, but that's not the issue. The issue is she mentioned that there were no returns on purchases three times. I thought it was weird until now realizing what happened. That definitely just topped the experience off with some more disgust and I will definitely never come back in this store again. Regional management should take a look into this store to refresh your employees, train them, or keep upper management around because being rude is one thing. I have been here a total of two times. Out of the two visits, i can honestly say some of the employees here have horrible customer service. When you enter the store, it's all fake hi's and welcome, but after that they all just stand around in the front talking to each other. I had a very good experience with the male staff here last sun (not sure his name) but he was nice and helpful. He answered all my questions and concerns regarding the sunnies and made sure I got a new pair. He literally took the sunglasses out and had me inspect them making sure everything was good. My first store visit , staff was helpful especially on a weekend when it was super busy. Second time I've been here, my experience was different. Same robotic "hi, welcome, promos for today is..." but after that instead of assisting me they just kept staring, all of them! I entered the store wearing a pair of newly released Quay sunnies I bought literally a week ago, and apparently they all wanted to stare which made me feel uncomfortable. I wasn't sure if they thought I stole the sunnies I was wearing, attempting to steal, OR I wasn't going to make a purchase. I was in the store for quite some time as I had intentions on buying the High Key x Desi Perkins sunglasses. I kept trying on alternating the sunnies and no one bothered to assist me. Ok whatever no big deal. I finally decided on a pair and the girl at the register grabbed me a "new" pair. She didn't ask me to inspect the sunglasses like the male employee, but I trusted that the glasses were in tip top shape. Come to find out the sunglasses I purchased was a bit scratched up. I asked if I can exchange for another preferably a new pair. Instead of saying sure or something nice she just opened the sunglasses, took out a cloth from her drawer and cleaned the sunnies and gave them to me to re-inspect. LOFL, uhm the scratch is still there. I don't get it, customer tells you there's a scratch on her glasses and you clean the sunglasses to make the scratches go away? LMFAO. She annoyingly and silently walked to get me another pair. It was so awkward. I tried to be calm and polite as I can, said thank you and left. Yes, these aren't fancy ass sunnies, but the mirrored sunnies from Quay gets scratched easily and I would rather get a new pair that I can take care and produce my own wear and tear. Super cool there's a Quay store, but customer service so wack I'd rather just order online directly from them or buy from Bloomies/Nordies. Byeeee! read more

Unfixable per my optometrist due to the weak metal (maybe manufacture). Nina then informed me of **3 month warranty with proof receipt of original date of purchased. So my sunglasses were worthless and trash after 8 months. So being my second purchase will be my last with Quay Australia Sunglasses. As a consumer it's disheartening that Quay Australia doesn't stand by their quality of product in making sunglasses. This was my first of two purchased with them. This isn't for a specific location, just the company in general since they don't have a review spot for online orders, and they don't seem to care once I contacted them. I have bought numerous pairs from quay, I had one pair in particular that I just never wore, I received them tried them on and put them into a drawer. I did wear my other pairs. I went to wear the pair that were never worn and pulled them out of the case and each side of the frames near the bottom of the lens the frames were cracked apart. They seem to be cheaply made, I notified the company, sent pictures and the response was basically that there was nothing they could do. Just my warning that they didn't care about me as a customer, so I have never purchased another pair again. Maybe one day they will realize running a business is all about how you handle customers. read more

My first pair of Desi sunnies I lost the case so I placed an order for another pair of different Desi sunnies and asked if your company could send me another case for my old Desi sunnies, I even offered to pay, but the company emailed me back and said sorry we don't have those cases to send you, yet when I got my new ones they sent them in that exact same case, so it wasn't a matter of the case no longer being available, it was your company is too goddamn stingy and didn't want to send a paying customer a new case which realistically you should have sent for free but even though I offered to buy a new clear case you told me no! Been wanting to try the quay x desi high key ombré glasses for sometimes now but since they collaborated and came out the mini's I had to buy it since it fits with my face frame ... store is small. Located at the Brea mall, 2nd level next to Gymboree kids clothes. Clean and sunny vibe to it. But there's no friendly vibe lol. Came in with messy buns, 2 small kids, dressing as if I just got out of bed lol. The girl did offered to help but I knew what I was there for so it wasn't hard to pick. Not only did they all greet me with a warm smile and welcome at the door, but they were so helpful while assisting me with my glasses selection. At check out I had remembered I had a pair of glasses with me that were over 6 months old but less than a year, that had a loose "Quay" symbol on the side of my glasses. Only wondering if they could tighten the screw, they immediately offered to switch them out with a brand new pair without any hesitation. I was in absolute shock. I assumed if anything,they could try to repair the symbol but they completely exceeded my expectations. Always satisfied with their products, but now never going to another location again.
