Called and spoke to Mike, explained I had two issues that I needed a plumber to take a look at, explained my schedule was flexible because these weren't emergency issues. Mike responded right away and texted him all my info. Mike was easy to communicate with, showed up when he said he would, and not only fixed a slow leak I had under the kitchen sink, but explained why. For a toilet shut off value issue, others would have just replaced the valve at an added cost instead of troubleshooting. Mike explained what he thought the issue was, took pics (valve was in a tight space), and his solution and fix ended up getting the job done. Very happy with Mike's service, and even better that he was local to New Lenox. I always look for those that took the risk to run their own business and would favor working with them. I used Mike for some work in the suburbs and the price was reasonable and the work properly done. But when I start to use his services in Chicago, the prices were much higher, and the service deteriorated to the point that I no longer use his service anymore. He has made several common sense mistakes (like not replacing a leaky toilet cut off valve when leaking), a bad installation of a cartridge that blamed it on the customer not using it properly (and calling it "a customer preference") and installing some pipes in a way that a dishwasher was not able to be installed in a right way, as well as installing some valves under a sink one after the other, for no logical reason. I spent around $6000 with his services, and some of it need to be redone. The last call for $180 for rooting a line, was not completed and that was the breaking point to get another plumber, as he wanted to increase it to $285 even the job was not finished. I would only use him for small jobs. Some of his work quality is very lacking if not directed properly. read more

Low-co installed a replacement sump pump. ($350]. Within a few days the noise when pumping was very loud and we requested a return . The second call eliminated the noise but unknown to us was the check valve was put in backwards and nothing was being pumped out. ($200). The pump put pressure on the whole system that the backup pump came louse from the pressure. So another call was made and the backup pump was installed again. But still the checkvalve problem was not seen or corrected.. Another call was made since the pump was still not emptying the well. Frustration bubbled over and fortunately my son evaluated the issue , bought a new check valve and repair the whole thing on 15 minutes. We cancelled the request call and will not use them again. read more

Mike came faster than expected, which I appreciated. There was no cost to evaluate my problem, where other companies charge you for just driving to your residence to see what the problem is.
