Last night my car window on the driver side was smashed in my driveway. I didn't find out until I was trying to go to work at 12:30pm. There was glass everywhere inside and outside my car. It was 104 degrees and I had to clean the car seat just enough to be able to drive it somewhere to get a new window before they close for the day. The cover that goes over the ignition was hanging down onto my knees while I was driving. They were trying to steal my car, but were surprised by the neighbors and drove off. I found Low Cost Auto Glass. They took care of everything, I mean everything. Within a couple of hours they found me a used window, which I wanted, but they didn't stop there. They fixed the cover that goes over the ignition and they got rid of all the glass in my car at no extra charge. The window cost me $149 total. You have to know that I can not take the heat at all here in Modesto and I fully expected to get home and have to fix the cover on the steering wheel and vacuum all the glass up in that heat. It almost brought tears to my eyes when I opened the car and found out that they did everything for me. This is what I call a GOOD business. I had a broken side view mirror glass on a Lexus suv. It had a light sensor to detect the cars on the other lands and the mirror could be adjusted with a button inside the car. This shop fixed it with $40 - I did bring my own glass. Long story: One of my coworker said he know how to fix it. But when he looked at the car he said he couldn't,and further more he broke the metal bracket holding the mirror when he tried to look inside. Well. At the end he told me to try Low Cost Mobile Glass. So I drove to Low Cost Mobile Glass with that side mirror glass dangling in the wind all the way. The owner and a guy discussed how to fix it and told me they only can glue the new mirror on the broken one. The bracket can be glued but i might not be able to move the mirror with the button from inside of the car. The lane sensor might or might not work either because the new glass on top of the old one. So I chose to pay $40 for a mirror at least I can see. Otherwise I had to buy a whole mirror part for $500. Guess what, after the guy did his magic, my mirror still can be moved with the button, and the lane change light still can be seen - the light color is lighter but I can see. It only took him 30 minutes. That guy is a genius. read more

On my way to work this morning, my windshield got cracked by a passing truck that flung a rock. While at work, I looked up & read great reviews for Cost Less & decided I'd leave work early so I can get there before closing at 5:30PM. When I got there I was greeted by Eisho, (I know i probably spelt his name wrong), he looked at my windshield & asked if I could come back in the morning at 8:30AM as they take the last car at 4:30PM. I told him I wouldn't be able to because I start work at 8. I got a bit panicked & asked if there was any place else he recommended at this time. Seriously do not go here ever!!!!! Last Monday I drop car off around 11am it's now 515pm nobody has contacted me I yelp them to see when they close it says 530. So I call they apologize for nobody calling me to let me know my car has been done for hours now! JOKE RIGHT so I tell him I live 25 min away will you still be open. He says well we usually stay open about 10 min after. WTH does that mean?! I need my car nobody called me so I only have 10 min after closing to get there during insane traffic times? Now it's 937 and he is just now telling me they are going to replace windshield and it'll be another 1hr to 1hr 20 min?!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are u freaking kidding me. Two months ago I had to have the glass on my the hatchback portion of my Prius replaced. Safelite charged me $580. Yesterday I broke off my passenger side mirror backing out of my garage. (I know!) I called at 8am, and Maria in the office was so wonderful! I was able to text her photos of my "situation" and she said to bring it down. I was able to get there just after 4pm. The gentleman who helped me was so kind and wonderful!! He explained what he could do and let me know that by trying to reattach my existing mirror it could cause it to break, but that he would be very careful. Luckily he WAS able to reattach it and he even glued back on the little broken part of the frame! I was absolutely impressed by his kindness and professionalism!!
