Bought a used 2000 Lexus RX300 from a small used car dealership. The dealer gave me only one valet key. From http://clublexus.com, learned that ECU had to be flashed to have a registered master key. Didn't want to ship my ECU to a locksmith in the Internet. Was very fortunate to find a local locksmith, http://www.lowpricekeys.com from http://sfbay.craigslist.org by searching transponder key. I contacted Santiago the locksmith by phone text messaging and asked many questions. He answered all of my questions sincerely and offered me multiple options with price quotes. He also offered me a cheaper option of just adding remote head keys instead of flashing ECU, but I chose ECU flash since I wanted to have a master key registered in the ECU. He flashed the ECU and cut and programmed a master remote head key professionally. I agree with him in that his price is the cheapest in the Bay Area. After losing my keys on a jog, I was desperate for a replacement key for my car. Calling all over Reno I was getting a lot very different prices and those prices were just considered "estimates". After reading the great reviews for Low Price Keys, I texted the owner and received a response within a few minutes. The price he quoted was much much less than the prices I found at other places for a new smart key and emergency keys (Prius). I like the appointment system and the professionalism of the owner. He was able to create a two new keys for my Silverado in under 30 minutes using ONLY the damaged door lock cylinder.
