I can't begin to tell you how elated I am with Santiago and Low Price Keys. After checking with multiple Jeep dealerships in the area, and being quoted between $300 and $385, I turned to Yelp and chose Low Price Keys based solely on their stellar reviews. I am so glad I did. Originally, I spoke to Jeff who showed up to try to key my 2014 Jeep Wrangler, which proved to be more difficult to key than expected. After going through multiple keys, Jeff finally decided that another key would have to be ordered and said he would call in a few days when it came in. Unfortunately, Jeff ran into some personal problems, and a few days turned into almost 2 weeks with no call. I decided to call another Low Price Keys number to see if someone could help me, and ended up speaking with Santiago. He apologized for the situation and offered to come out immediately. Like, I'll be there in 15 minutes, immediately. He came out and also had trouble fully programming the key he had, and he, too, offered to order a different key. He assured me that he would contact me as soon as it came in, and as promised, he contacted me a few days later and scheduled a convenient time to come out the next day. He came out again and successfully programmed my new key in no time at all! Santiago was perplexed and challenged, and was relatively certain an authentic Jeep key would do the trick, and he was right. Here is my story: I needed a second car chip key( Avalon 2003), so I went to the Berkeley Hardware store to make one. Well, the key the store made was hardly able to turn. Then they made another one, but the same story.Then I decided to look for a keyless remote, and that was how I found Low Price Keys. I was advised to return the key to the store, which I did, and stop by at his shop to get a normal working one. Well, I must say that I not only got a working chip key, but actually got a remote key for a very reasonable price. The remote key is Toyota, not some kind of aftermarket one. He is extremely friendly, definitely knows keys, resets, seeding, programming for Toyota Prius any model. If you need a backup key made for a Prius, don't hesitate to use this place, in fact it might be worth it to drive several hours to the North Bay area, pay for one night's hotel and still come out ahead compared to an official dealer key replacement. We broke our 2008 Lexus GS350 key this past week. I was absolutely dreading having to replace it as I know it generally costs somewhere around $350 or more to replace it. On an off chance I searched Craigslist to find Santiago. He quoted me a price that was an absolute steal ( I don't know how open he is to posting prices online). It was a good enough deal that I didn't bother calling around to see other prices, however I will admit Craigslist always makes me wary.
