This guy was so quick. I made two copies of a key, and he was done in 20 seconds. His friendly attitude didn't hurt either. Good stuff.

This is a store that I would never return to under any circumstances. I used to shop at the store…read morewhen I lived in a condo in Quincy for 18 years in Marina Bay. I bought this store. I live in New Bedford now, but I was driving through Quincy and I thought I would pick up an item and do some shopping at this location after a medical appointment in Boston.. I bought a can of spray away glass cleaner. I was not feeling great and I just wanted to check out and leave since I just come from a dental appointment that was very unpleasant. There were no employees to help other than one in a very far distant end of the store and it appeared that almost the entire store look like self checkout. I scanned the item and I tried to pay several times. The machine was frozen up. I know nothing about these technology. I don't work here. I don't like self checkout for this very reason. I tapped the machine and it left a hairline scratch in the glass.. there was nobody there to help me. Nobody was coming to help me once again. There was only one visible employee in the store in the front on the opposite end walking around from what I could see. I was completely frustrated and not feeling well so I left the store. Well, the Quincy police contacted me and I had to go to virtual court date for this. They charged me a whopping $1,300.00 for repair of self checkout that wasn't even working. I was ordered to pay $1,300.00 for malicious damage. I have no criminal record whatsoever. I paid the money in person at the Quincy courthouse. A short time after this, there was a warrant for my arrest after I paid. I contacted the Quincy courthouse and they told me the best thing for me to do is not leave my home because I could be arrested. SERIOUSLY?!?! I called the store. They gave me a runaround telling me they have many managers and there was nobody I could talk to handle this. I called corporate and there was nothing they could do about it either. No manager would call me back from the store. I finally got a detective on the phone to talk to me and clear everything up. This has ruined me completely for self checkout and no, I don't have a temper. The machine was broken to begin with and there was no employees or management around. This has made me a huge advocate against self checkout and lack of employees. This is also ruined me for Home Depot. Nobody should have to go through what I went through to buy a can of glass cleaner.
