What a joke of a customer experience at this store. Went in on a Saturday evening with my husband on the day that the store is offering a coupon and having many spring sales so it was fairly busy. We were headed in to make a pretty large purchase for my husband to get his fancy new grill. First off, there was absolutely no employees around us to help. The display models were out and we found the one we wanted, but no one to help us get it. I was delighted to find it was on sale more than I expected so we started out pretty positive. My husband had to go over to the paint counter to get assistance. None of the gals working had a clue where this specific BBQ was and no one was jumping to help, just a few gals staring at the computer screen trying to figure it out. Another gal came up and said she knew where it was and grabbed a flat bed and headed to the back. The other gals didn't offer to help her (BBQs in the box are heavy as hell), they just let her be on her merry way. It took about 25 minutes for the gal in the back and meanwhile, her lovely coworkers were calling over the radio trying to figure out where she went. Uh, she's back there trying to load this heavy BBQ onto a flat bed by HERSELF, no thanks to you ladies. We FINALLY got our BBQ thanks to (I think her name was) Sarah. Went up to the front to check out and Barbara rang us up. Boy was she a peach (sarcasm). She didn't smile at us, greet us, ask if we found everything okay...barely even looked up at us. I wanted to verify that our purchase rang up correctly and she sighed heavily while backing up her program to check. Terribly sorry that we inconvenienced her to do her job. She was incredibly rude and should not be at the front lines offering customer service. Overall, very poor team coordination in this store (employees have no clue what's going on), poor customer service and overall a very lame experience. read more

Awesome. Kirk in appliances had what we called about in stock, and was more than happy to help. Even had it pulled and waiting for me when I got back to loading to pick it up. Won't buy appliances from anywhere else. Looking for a couple more appliances in the near future and will definitely work with Kirk for these. Awesome customer service. read more

Terrible. Let me say that again. TERRIBLE, customer service. Ordered two kitchen appliances online. A few days later was called by a rep from this store as it is my local one. Was told both items were in store and could pick them up. Next day got a call, the system was wrong. Not in store and in fact I had to come into the store and re-order them in store because the online Lowe's and in store systems are different. I call a manager the next day to learn that my online order had been cancelled but no one thought to tell me that. So I go in to order these all again. One item I picked up there the other needed to be delivered. Was told I would get a call to come pick it up the minute it arrived. So about 10 days pass no call, so I call to check. I love this place! Much better then The Home Depot down the road in Tulalip! It's also conveniently located by a lot of other places to shop. If I need to hop across the freeway or go grocery shopping after it's easy access. Right now they have all of their flowers and trees out. There are some apricot and peach trees for about twenty bucks which I thought was a great deal! They were super friendly when checking out and they had everything that we needed to get! read more

We ordered cabinets for our entire house. Our bathroom cabinets we were told would take a little bit longer and that they would call us when they were ready to be picked up. They called us today and told us we could come get our cabinets, we have now been here over an hour and nobody can find our cabinets. Customer service here is nothing great, everyone seems annoyed. Not a fan of big stores like this but this one does have the best customer service that I've had at a big department store

This place has a massive selection of stock, friendly and knowledgeable employees, and is clean and well lit. I love that I can get in and out of here quickly. I have an old clunker of a house that I'm constantly renovating and employees have even given me their business cards in case I needed help with anything. I like that their outdoors stuff (like wood) is in its own little building, which means I can drive up and load what I want directly into my car instead of wheeling stuff to my car and loading it in the rain. The only reason I'm giving them four stars is that Home Depot seems to have a lot of things that are aesthetically more appealing, such as brick pavers. read more

We ordered 3 doors from Lowes and it took over 4 weeks to get them in. When they arrived at the Smokey Point store and were scheduled to be installed the installer went to pick them up and the back door was going to open from the wrong side. This was due to Aleisha not inspecting the doors to make sure they matched up with the order form when the doors arrived. We had to reorder the door and had to wait another 4 weeks for it to come in. When it arrived Aleisha called us to let us know it was in but was damaged. Then we talked to a manager named Jesse and he offered us a discount on the door. When the installer picked up the door and came to install it Aleisha didn't provide the hardware (handles, locks etc.) Our personal opinion is Aleisha has had many complaints and should have been fired on this one. Her manager doesn't seem to want to do anything but talk to her and that hasn't seemed to fix the problem. We probably should have went to the store manager Kevin but we were so tired of this issue after this amount of time we just wanted to write this so others wouldn't have to go through this agony. read more

I have been renovating my kitchen and have had great luck with Lowes regarding materials and customer service. I had an experience today that really threw me tho. I needed some boards. I looked online, picked what I wanted and ordered online for store pickup. When it was ready for pickup, I drove to the store, drove into the drive thru lumberyard, and handed my order to the clerk at the entrance. I was floored when she told me I had to park my truck, go inside the store to the customer service desk and show them the receipt. I did that and they had the boards I had ordered there at the customer service desk. So I had to carry them out to my truck there. This makes no sense. It would make a whole lot more sense and be more efficient if the clerk at the drive in lumber yard would have directed me to the correct area, and the lumber yard worker looked at my paid receipt (I had paid online), put the wood in my truck and I'd be on my way. read more

This place is so disorganized and messy! It is also a unsafe place to bring children. Normally, I'd say...well duh! You wouldn't think a hardware store could be safe for children, but I've been going to Home depot for many years and with both my children have never had any issues. If their working in an isle they (Home Depot employees) put up gates and have someone stand guard to prevent customers from getting hurt. Well, my husband and I went to Lowes with our three year old and she zipped around a corner...literally three seconds out of my view! As I came around the corner to get her, I noticed a sign on a chain three feet above the ground, which my daughter easily went under. She was standing just behind and off to the side of a fork lift being operated by a Lowes assocoate, whom was unaware of her, and almost got hit. Luckily we grabbed her, but the associate was oblivious. Five minutes later as we walked along the back of the store looking at supplies that were all lined up along the wall, we were stopped and told that we were in an unsafe area and that it was off limits to customers. I replied that we didn't see a sign or anything letting us know and were told that normally a gate is suppose to be closed at the end of the isle....another issue with safety! BTW the incidents happened at different areas of the store. I will never go to this place again. read more

I went in to buy a few sheets of plywood snd some insulation, sat ten minutes waiting for the checker to figure out the price on two boards, then was sent to contractor services to get me through quicker and the refused to do anything. So i went to cheerful and helpful, lower priced Home Depot and was very satisfied. I am done with the idiots at lowes. read more

After FOUR trips from Stanwood WA to Arlington WA to replace THREE different shower sprayers, after four trips of dealing with David in plumbing who had the worst attitude and customer service I've ever dealt with, and on my FOURTH trip to Lowe's in Arlington, to replace three shower sprayers that David said were some of the best they had, I FINALLY WENT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH MY RECEIPT TO GET MY MONEY BACK TO GO TO HOME DEPOT!!!!! Of course, they didn't have a STORE MANAGER in the store for me to talk with, so another dept . manager spoke with me. He was nice and tried to be helpful; HOWEVER, he and another lady customer service rep., told me the receipt I had was the incorrect one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, I assure you, the public, that I rarely shop at Lowe's because it is too far from my home, so if I had a receipt that was for a shower head/sprayer and for the EXACT same price, I know it was the CORRECT RECEIPT!!!!! Neither one of the PREVIOUS TWO SPRAYERS WERE FOR THAT PRICE, so the store dept. manager said HE COULD NOT OVERRIDE THE COMPUTER TO GIVE ME MONEY BACK ON MY PURCHASE BUT COULD GIVE ME A PRODUCT CARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Excuse me, but if I had such poor luck with the products and the sales clerk, David, WHY IN GOD'S NAME WOULD I WANT TO PURCHASE MORE PRODUCTS FROM LOWE'S???????? So now I am stuck with an $80 merchandise card from a store that I wouldn't refer Satan himself to, and a receipt for the same product and cost!!!!!!!!! PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER SHOP AT LOWE'S IN ARLINGTON EVER!!!! My husband is on hospice and I make FOUR trips to a store that is probably 20+ miles from my home and they can't give me a refund???????????? UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! Of course, I will be contacting Lowe's Corporate office with my complaint; but, I wanted the public to know what kind of service they offer at this store. read more

This Lowe's is a cut above the rest of the company. I love the drive through lumbar yard, and most of the staff here genuinely seems to know what they're talking about. If anything else, they are a bit more friendly than the Home Depot up the street. read more

Male clerk at lumber counter was rude and sarcastic,l tod him to forget it. This happened the morning of 9/2415!

This was by far the worst customer service I have ever had. I went in specifically to buy a washer, dryer and refrigerator IF I could be sure they could deliver it to my house. The young woman in that dept. was snotty, disdainful, overall ruder than could be imagined. When I said I wanted to speak to a manager, OR I could just leave, she paged "CODE SEVEN" overhead and in about 30 seconds the manager appeared "what's the problem?" What, is that a code for a threat? Did she misuse a code to cover up the fact that she was losing the store a customer? Unfortunately, even though the manager was courteous, he was able to convey by body language his belief that his employee was not doing wrong- and when I wrote to say I would not be purchasing my appliances at this store due entirely to her terrible customer service, he thanked me for my feedback. Wow - I've avoided this store over the past several years due to the customer service being poor, but this was terrible. I will not shop here again, and will avoid any Lowe's simply based on their behavior. Really sad. read more

If I could rate 0 stars I would! I ordered a door on 11-22-14, I was told 2 business days a installer would call me, come measure and if standard it would be installed same day after paying.. Dude calls that Tuesday says it's a week out, and he would come 12/2 1-3 PM.. 3 pm rolls around and still no guy. We try calling the number from the caller id twice and nothing............. So finally around 5pm guy shows up says it's standard and he will let the store now, and withn 48 hours the store will call us to sign the contract and get the door installed up to 5 days after that... Umm what? I was told 2 business days.. So I call the store, ask for a manger and was given to someone not the manager but graciously took a note and let a manger know. I did get a refund but the whole process is annoying, and I am offended they lied to me, and they also stated the employee worked there for 3 years and never did this to anyone else. read more

Really tired of the poor customer service, lack of communication, unprofessional attitudes and lack of product knowledge. There have been numerous occasions when we have spent our money elsewhere as the result of these offenses. We truly want to have positive experiences and we keep going back, but today was horrible! We bought a washing machine, and while extremely happy with the product, would have been even happier if we could have just gotten it off the shelf ourselves, gone through a self-checkout, and loaded it into our vehicle ourselves. Of the 5 employees we interacted with today, only one was both courteous and effective. Thank you to the nice lady in Customer Service, who was the only one doing her job properly, and ironically, the only who apologized when others began playing at shell game with which door our washer could be found. Don't like having extended warranties crammed down our throats, either. Offer them up, inform us why they might be great, but don't try to add them to the sale and then get pouty when we catch on and say no thanks. Do you think LG would like to hear what employees are saying about their products in order to sell an extended warranty? read more

The employees that work at paint department are Are not qualified including store manager as i have told them that egg shell is not only a texture which is what they all think until they were told by me its also a color which they dont know. Will never order from Lowes online or work with this store again! I ordered a dishwasher on the 2nd of December. I ordered this online, for delivery two weeks out. Received a phone call later in the day saying this was back ordered and I could have it delivered and they would install for free on the 13th of January and a phone call would be given on the 11th to schedule delivery. The 13th comes along and I received no phone call. I called customer care and was on hold for 10 minutes and was going to receive a call back from Tyler a few minutes later. Four hours go by, I call back. Was on hold for 15 minutes, then found out Tyler would call me back around 3:15 since he was on lunch. 4:45 comes around and I get a phone call for him telling me they can deliver my dishwasher in a week and install is going to cost me $129. Ridiculous! He was very short and rude and not helpful. Should have ordered from anywhere else, considering I was only saving myself a dollar but yet could have saved a month and a half of headache! On 10/15/14 we purchased 5 stock kitchen cupboards and 2 stock counter tops. Took them upstairs one at a time and unwrapped the boxes to find that 3 of the 5 cupboards were damaged. Returned/replaces the damaged items but had to wait a week to have them delivered. But ran out of time to be able to install them until 11/1/14 (I had surgery on the 29th thinking we had plenty of time to do this project) Brought the counter tops upstairs and set them on top of the cupboards and realized the smaller section (4ft) was severely warped. Took it back to Lowes to replace it. They didn't have any more so we traveled to Everett from Smokey Point after calling ahead to have the counter top waiting in cust service for us. When we arrived there was no counter top waiting and no one knew what had happened to it (apparently it was brought up but vanished in the 25 min it took us to arrive). We chose the one that looked the straightest (very poor lighting in that area of store) got it home to find it too was warped. Called customer service and tried to explain the problem. The woman I spoke with kept asking me what I wanted her to do about it, so I politely asked to speak with a manager. The gal didn't put me on hold so I heard the conversation she had with the manager. She told him I was having a meltdown and repeated my request to speak to a manager in a very unprofessional tone. I then overheard the manager say, "I don't want to talk to her, what am I supposed to do about it?" That's when my call was placed on hold and about 3 min later the manager, Dan, came on the line. I explained our problem and that I had just had surgery on the 29th and was not able to return the item again (we had just returned it the day before). His tone was curt bordering on rude and he spoke very quickly as if I was completely wasting his time. After I got him to agree to send out a new counter top (next week) I thanked him for his time and mentioned the gal in customer service whom I overheard saying I was having a meltdown. Dan, the manager lied to me and said he was unaware of who she was, that he was on the other side of the building from customer service, but he would address the issue. I didn't bother telling him that I had heard him say he didn't want to speak with me - really what was the point? He would have denied it and I wouldn't have gotten my delivery later this week. I did get a call Monday night saying they had a 4 ft section of counter top for me but apparently this man was not aware that they were delivering it so he said someone else would call to schedule it. I am very curious where they got the replacement counter top since the Smokey Point Lowes only has the warped one we returned. Would anyone like to take a bet as to whether I get the same damaged one I returned to them on Sat 11/1? This is the last time I buy anything more than a screw or garden hose there. In 2014 we have spent approx.$5,500 on home repairs/paint at Lowes. But they don't seem to appreciate our business or treat us with respect. read more
