They try to Steal your money! Watch Out. Twice in 2 months (I own a resort) Lowe's has tried to keep my refunds. Here's their game: You have an order that needs to be canceled--both mine were defective appliances which never even were installed in my cabins-but taken back by the drivers-- They tell you on the phone (recorded call) the refund is issued. THREE-FOUR weeks later no refund. I call this morning. They tell me refunds are "approved" by them but not "issued" "until the warehouse signs off". Then they send me to XDT--their warehouse. It's now been 50 minutes of holds or transfers. XDT says they "lost the paperwork". Keep in mind I never even touched these appliances. They never left the possession of Lowe's. The second delivery that failed and was canceled and the exact same thing happened. And again, "the warehouse lost the paperwork". First order was a range. Second order a BBQ. Lost monies--over $2500.00. Lowe's supervisor says they have no control over the warehouse and maybe I should make a police report. Lowe's supervisor says they don't even have a fraud department. Needed to get a new garbage disposal and was helped by Pat at the Mill Work Department. He was very professional, courteous, so knowledgeable and efficient! He walked over with me to the selection of garbage disposals and explained which one would work for me. They also had a 25% discount on installation. He explained everything in laymen's terms and it was easy to purchase. I received a call from the installer about 2 hours later and will have it installed tomorrow! We've gotten our Christmas tree here for as long as I can remember and we are typically never sorry. This year is no different. They have a good sized selection of various trees of all sizes and price points. Cost of a cut tree keeps going up but that is sadly how it is everywhere. Customer service here is almost always very friendly and accommodating. No complaints. They will trim the end of the trunk and wrap it up nicely for transport to the destination. Their poinsettias are lovely and long lasting. They also have many other seasonal decorations. It's tempting to just walk by their displays and not buy up everything! I also appreciate how Lowe's gives veterans a discount. Bonus! They must respect the men and women of our military. We will keep shopping and getting our trees here for the foreseeable future. read more

I visited this Lowe's for one item and it was super easy to find. One of the self-checkout attendants helped me locate an extension cord since I had never been in that Lowe's before. He was kind and helpful and pointed me in the right direction to problem. Bought the power cord easy peasy and took off. The establishment was clean and well lit too. My favorite section is the light section where you get to see all the beautiful lights in action. So cool. I could spend all day at Lowe's and leave with easily a couple thousand dollars worth of equipment and a long list of fixins needing tending too. Great location. Highly recommend a visit. read more

I need a new garage door opener and according to the Lowe's app this store had three in stock. They have none in stock and nobody working in the department. They also have no customer service desk. And since all checkouts are self checkout, you can't even ask a cashier. Guess who does have the exact opener I want and will deliver it right to my door- Amazon. Again. Well. I needed stump dissolver, and Lowe's was near my acupuncturist. And, oddly, it's $2 cheaper at Lowe's than Home Depot. I say "oddly," because almost everything else is slightly more expensive than HD. This Lowe's is MUCH bigger than than the tiny Lone Tree HD, and has a much wider selection of many, many things. I didn't find dowels for the pegboard rack, but maybe I didn't look hard enough. Spray paint is more expensive here, by about $1 a can. I mostly wandered through the Garden Center--lots of fun stuff like lattices and trellises. Big selection of pots. Ugly outdoor cushions. Many, many products for lawns and gardens, from seed to this stuff called "Grotrax" that you unroll, water, and...hey presto! You have a lawn! Amazing. I have never seen THAT before. Mulch is also slightly more expensive here than HD. Disappointing. Bonnie plants are the same price as HD. Lowe's does have a HUGE selection of seeds, and well-priced bulbs. Planters are somewhat more expensive, although they do carry the cheap black plastic pots that you usually find at grow stores. I only saw ONE employee the whole time I wandered the store. It was a little eerie being the only person in the enormous Garden Center. They're stocking the vegetable, herbs, and flower plants now, which I think is unbearably cruel. We can't safely plant outside for another 6 weeks or so, unless one has a greenhouse. I was not enchanted by the "frost blankets," which seemed ludicrously flimsy. Idk...while I liked the garden center, It might be better to go to a bigger HD instead of Lowe's. They do price match, I think that I saw a sign, but I don't know if that's just for appliances or if they will actually reduce the price of spray paint or mulch. I did like the landscape stones, and may return for them if I decide to landscape part of the back yard that just has rocks in the corners. I may need Lawn Soil, not sure that I saw it at HD. Three and a half stars. Not quite worthy of four. read more

If you need plexiglass cut, go to this store. They have many variations of size, and you don't have to buy the whole sheet like at Ace Hardwear. They even cut it down to size for you. An excellent option for a fish tank cover. Plexiglass can only be cut horizontally so set your aquarium filter on the side of the tank for a better fit. read more

I just spent 1 week dealing with Lowe's and their delivery company over a simple top freezer frig and ice maker! If they came at all there was something wrong.At one point I had 2 refrigerators in my small kitchen. True example of poor customer service communication . They should train sales associated when a customer shows a photo of water tubing for the ice maker. I dealt with 6 days of incompetency! . The situation is not entirely resolved yet . read more

TRASH!!! BEWARE of this location!!! We are redoing our floors and ordered supplies from Lowe's from the one on Buckley. They didn't have baseboards at this location so the store ordered baseboards from the location on Havana St. Went to pick them up when they arrived. A black lady brought them out to the store and I saw them and knew they weren't going to fit in my Forester. Told the lady this and requested delivery since we already paid the delivery fee for other materials to be delivered to our house. She had me confirm my address which I did. Gave her a delivery day that would work for me. Day of delivery came no notifications at all about delivery on the way. Called this location and spoke to assistant manager. They said they would look into it. This was on a Friday. Following Monday I called again to follow up and talked to a different manager. Found out that they reshelved MY baseboard's. Raised hell to the manager. They hung up on me! This is how you treat your customers??? You train your employee' to lie??? That lady needs to be fired! I will not rest until this is fixed! I am glad I did not hire Lowes to install our flooring. Just bought the materials from them. Next time I do a project I will completely stay from Lowe's. It's true appliances are cheaper at Lowe's than local appliance stores. So you might think you're saving money by buying from Lowe's. IMHO, there's a good chance you're not. You see, local appliance stores are smaller and better run businesses. You have a much better chance of having your dishwasher installed when they tell you they're going to install it. This way you don't miss a half day of work and pay when Lowe's fails to show up or tell you in advance they're not going to show up. As you may have guessed already, that's what happened to me. Not only did I take half a day off for no reason, Lowe's can't even tell me when the dishwasher will arrive. This means I can't even reschedule installation. If you're not working or don't value your time, then Lowe's may be a good option for you. However if you work, have other responsibilities or just like to having things done when you're told they're going to be done, then I humbly suggest you pay a little more at a local appliance store. read more

Took 15 minutes to return 1 item. 1 employee at counter checking out a carpet cleaner while 5 people waited in line for returns. 4 employees walked by during this time-1 with a coke and no one stopped to help. I've heard ordering appliances from Lowe's was a nightmare but I held out hope that it couldn't be as bad as everyone says. Conclusion: it was worse. It was a nightmare from ordering to delivery to set up. One example: The delivery truck showed up and drove off, never ringing the doorbell or attempting to deliver. The ring doorbell has the video. Supposedly, it's a problem with the delivery company Lowe's contracts with, making fake deliveries. Then you have to take another day off of work again to wait for a reschedule date. read more

On three separate occasions they failed to deliver our items as scheduled, including a no show without any contact. After the third time I got a refund at the customer service desk. I was in need of a small drill and cabinet locking mechanism. I had asked for someone to come help unlock the cage in power tools to no avail. After trying for the second page I and my husband decided to leave. At the self check I told the lady we couldn't get help in power tools. Then I said you must be short handed. She concurred and said it was worse the day before. I replied no wonder you have 2 of five stars on yelp. She just nodded in reply. No help in resolving the situation. Placed an delivery to base housing. They informed us it will be delivered the next day. Next day came and the delivery drivers decided that they didn't want to wait an hour to get on base so they would come back and when they came back the gate was closed. Got rescheduled for Thursday a two days after the first delivery. I called us on Wednesday and let us know they will deliver from 8-12. The time passed and they said 10-2. Called and they basically said they were to far out to have it delivered today. The base gate closes at a certain time. We asked for a earlier delivery because we knew this would happen. read more

On 03/06/2020 I ordered a dishwasher model with extended warranty WDF520PADW from Lowes online Fulfilling Store: LOWE'S OF AURORA, CO. Machine was delivered on 04/10/2020. On Feb 26 in the evening the machine stopped working (it would fill but the impeller would not engage). I called in lowes warranty repair on Monday Feb 28th, waited for some time on hold (at least 30 minutes) and then finally got ahold of a Lowes rep. Lowes set a service date for the dishwasher on March 3rd; on the 3rd the repairman arrived within time stated. The repair person quickly determined that the motor had failed on the dishwasher and stated that they had none in reserve and didn't have a date specific to when the machine can be serviced. He did NOT specify that I should call Lowes and get a status on the warranty. Not knowing what to do we ended up waiting for Lowes or the repair company to contact us. Having waited two weeks I called Lowes on Monday 14 March spoke with a customer service agent, I had to schedule a call back time since their wait times were extensive. After being contacted again by the Lowes rep, I explained the steps I took with the process to her in order to get machine fixed and that I hadn't been informed of anything else besides the wait for the motor. The woman, who identified herself as a supervisor, then informed me that this is considered an "irrepairable machine" since there's no definintive date to access parts. A "ticket" was set up on the 15th of March and I was informed to wait 3-5 business days for the status of the problem. I called on 22 March to find out the status and was now informed by the Lowes rep that 10 days are required to make a judgement on the status. This information was contradictory to what I was previous told. I've scheduled to make a call back to Lowes on the 29th of March which will be 11 business days since the 14th. If we had received a response from Lowes before that date we would have responded as necessary. I called lowes again on 29 March and after waiting approximately 16 minutes finally got to a Lowes rep and explained the problem and was told by this technician that it's not 3-5 business days, not 10 business days, but now it's 14 business days. As cordially as I could I tried to explain my situation to the Lowes rep that I had been misinformed about the turn around time twice now (IF THIS PARTICUALR REP HAS THE CORRECT INFORMATION) and that I've now been without my machine for over a month. At this point I hold little hope that Lowes will come through on their warranty, sadly, this is not the only incident with Lowes where the "details" of product, delivery, warranty, and installation have caused me to waste many hours of time organizing and getting accurate information. FINAL THOUGHTS The warranties are supposed to help customers not waste hours of their time, the warranty process has now cost me more than the machine that I bought the warranty on. The only thing I can hope for at this time is recoup a portion of my losses. I can deal with wait times that are accurately presented and realistic, I'm utterly frustrated with 3 different reps giving me 3 different bits of contradictory information. At this time I strongly recommend anyone considering Lowes to find a smaller company that can be more supportive of their customers. This has been an utterly frustrating process and I consider Lowes VERY unsupportive of their customers at this point. A problem I notice nearly everywhere is customer service is poor, and I've about decided it is all down to the labor shortage. A bright spot at this Lowe's was found in the lumber dept: a guy named Chance. I needed some lumber cut, and he did so. He helped me to my car(I'm disabled), and he secured the load well - I made it all the way home without incident. Thank you, Chance. This Lowe's generally does a good job of fulfilling my online orders. Lowe's at the corporate level is kind of a mixed bag. In general, their inventory control matches what is actually in the store. There's another store, the orange one, where this is definitely not the case. An area that is in need of improvement at Lowe's - and every other chain store, including the orange one - is the online survey after the order is picked up. The link dumps you into a server that is insecure. Neither my phone nor my PC will allow me to do the surveys. Looks to be a half-hearted effort by a third party that apparently was the low bid for that job. read more

To provide an idea of how much I dislike this store, I would rather drive 3.5 miles to Home Depot, five times in a day, than to spend ten minutes of my day, wasted at Lowes, ESPECIALLY this one. You are currently not on break, while I am on my lunch break to shop at your store. I need help. I should've known better. This week, I purchased something just in case, knowing that I might not need it. I came back to return the next day, literally less than 24 hours later, with the receipt. I was told, "There is no record of your transaction in our system. I can issue you a store credit, but I cannot put it back onto your credit card." The credit card and original receipt were in my hand. It didn't matter. The return associate had spoken. NEXT PERSON IN LINE, he called. Uh, no. I'm not done here yet. Well, nevermind. Thanks to Ron for keeping his promise! We bought a washer and a dryer on Black Friday and scheduled the delivery for the beginning of December. Third party company Retail Direct didn't bother to deliver saying that nobody was home without even ringing a doorbell. I called Lowe's delivery department and spoke to Ron. He promised to deliver my items next day by himself and he kept his promise! Ron and David came on time, removed the old appliances and installed our new washer and dryer. Despite on three staircases they worked very efficiently. I'm glad we still have people who get their job done well! read more

I literally stood in the lighting section for 12 minutes looking like a man that needs some assistance, even waiving my arms at one point, to no avail. I know for a fact that this next number is fake and fabricated by me, but probably realistic nonetheless: 50% of the people in your store are looking for guidance so that they can go accomplish something that some jerk would charge them $150 an hour to do that they can TOTALLY do themselves if someone would just show up and say you need this, and this, and don't do this, but you should do this, and I love run on sentences.
