I went to Lowe 's to look for a specific towel rack for my parents bathroom. This store is huge. They have all kinds of tools, and items for every part of your home. When I had just purchased my home, I was here pretty much every day, with my dad or my boyfriend looking for something for my house. My screen door is from Lowe's, my living room paint color is from Lowe's, just to name a few. I came across a very friendly sales associate, Jamie who chatted with me for a while and told me they don't have that exact towel rack in store, but I could order it online. This isn't ideal, because I did come to the store to purchase it, but shipping only takes two days. While Lowe's isn't my favorite store, I like going here with someone knowledgeable about the product and their uses. The staff I've encountered has been very friendly and helpful. They sell more then what one might expect from a home improvement store.

Bittersweet because I want to like coming here because I have to but the service is just terrible and staff so clearly do not care about helping you from returns of items, damaged goods, finding things, so on. But if you know how to navigate the store yourself then it's the only closest option second to Home Depot within 30 miles.

The refund of a no big deal 700 dollar refridgerator.

I have preferred Lowes to Home Depot since its inception. Simply put this LOWES is the absolute worst store Ive ever been too . On Wed 1/22/23 I went in to purchase a refrigerator for my garage. No salesperson to be found. After waiting 5 minutes and browsing with no salesperson. I went to find one . Two employees chatting it up . "Can one of you help me I need a salesperson" , the response was "what do you need" Id like to buy this refrigerator. She checked there were "SIX" in stock told me I could get it delivered on 1/24/23. Friday 1/24/23 no call I wait till 1pm and call phone rings noone answers call back at 3 after jus letting the phone for 5 literal minutes someone answers . I explain Im checking delivery status , I'm told "for some reason your refrigerator is not the truck , so your not getting it today, do you want it tomorrow " I say Yes ill take it 1/25/23. Saturday 1/25/23 no call wait till 1pm and call noone answers , I call back at 3pm after phone rings for 8 literal mins someone picks up. I explain Im looking for delivery status. Im told your refrigerator is not on the truck I explain this happened yesterday. Im told that they don't understand but they are goin to check "personally" . And a manager will call me back . 5pm no call , I call back phone rings numerous times . Someone answers . I explain that someone was supposed to call me back . "Please hold " 10 literal mins then someone else picks up the phone . "Can I help you" .I ask are you the manager? Im told "NO" your gonna get your refrigerator Monday 1/28/23. Monday 1/28/23 3pm no refrigerator. i call , phone rings numerous times. Someone finally answers , Explain my situation "I dint know why but its not on the truck" Finally I tell them "please refund my money" she says "so you don't want us to deliver it" Im like apparently you can't " . She says "ok ill refund your card ending ... and goodbye". Surprisingly they did manage the return , but they probably have alot of practice at returns. Its not jus the return . I adjusted my schedule on Friday and on Saturday I also had food go bad. They jus lose a 700 dollar sale like "oh well" . Noone cared no manger contacted me jus luke WHA

Their slogan for on-line sales is " shop, click, pick up". Sadly, another word rhyming with "brew" or "truck" would have been better suited to precede 'up'. Here's the play-by-play. I ordered some samples on-line Monday morning. A few hours later, I received an e-mail telling me "Your Lowe's order is ready for pick up". Cool ! So I went here about 4:00, approached the Customer Service counter and said "I'm here to pick up my order". The rep went over to a caged in area where the on-line orders are presumably kept, she looked inside, and the order wasn't there. She called the appropriate department. I waited, She called the appropriate department again. I waited again. Three reps huddled together and whispered. I waited more. She said "I'm getting a manager". I waited. She said "the manager said she can't find the order, so she's putting a new order together. I took a stroll through the store and came back 20 minutes later. One clerk pointed at me and said to another clerk "that's the guy who's waiting". One asked me "are you waiting for the samples?" I said yes. She said nothing more to me. Waited longer. Someone said "the manager is coming with your order". Manager came out with my order, except some pieces were missing -turns out they weren't in stock. The website said they were in stock, just like the website said my order was ready for pick up four hours earlier. Manager apologized and zeroed out my bill. OK, so let's try to make some sense out of this abysmal debacle. It's hard to pinpoint the exact point of failure. Is it the on-line ordering process, where the website makes promises the store can't keep? Is it at the store level where the person who picked the order failed to complete the task? Was it the customer service desk who made me wait almost an hour to resolve this? Take your pick. I will commend the store manager who was genuinely apologetic and picked up the mess that her colleagues made for her. She was a bright spot in this dismal afternoon of systematic incompetence and wasted time.

Kinda pointless to have curbside pickup when you have to walk into the store to get someone to pick up the phone.

One big, open floor organized by type. Bathroom items together, chairs/lamps/coffee tables near each other and so on. There were some brand new, never used, 30" bathroom vanities with marble tops, two larger vanity tops only - also marble, a couple of medicine cabinets, lots of doors both inside and out, attic vents for the exterior, tiles, so many chairs from waiting room to living room. Beds, electric stoves, carpet squares, office chairs, lots of lovely curio cabinets, desks, some artwork, mirrors, and plenty of lamps, some books, and a little bit of kitchen ware. Remember to look up! There are a lot of ceiling lights suspended from pipes running overhead. The prices here are excellent. I'm a big advocate of reduce, reuse, recycle and this is a good location to find household items, some used, some new and your purchase supports the Habitat for Humanity mission. Win-win!

I purchased my house in 2016, this store would have saved me so much money, I had no idea what it was, or had any interest in it. When I would drive by, I thought it was a storage facility. I didn't think twice about putting it into Google, Yelp or going inside to see what it was. My friend pointed it out to me the other day, and said we have to go there. Ohhmyygoodness this is a MUST stop if you are moving into a new apartment or house. They have furniture galore. They have dining tables and chairs, desks, lamps and chandeliers, framed artwork and mirrors, and so much more. New inventory is constantly coming in. Everything is so much less expensive than any furniture store, even less expensive than Ikea, yet the quality is there. I got this very cute painting of a lighthouse in a beautiful white wood frame for $5. I also got a pouf for sitting for only $15. I have been looking for one of these for a while, they are super expensive, the one that matches my couch was $200. This one is black and white, pretty neutral, looks great and is such a bargain. If you need anything new for your home, please stop by here first. There is no way you'll walk out empty handed.
