Terrible customer service. They sold me an item online that they didn't even have. I was told it was not there problem. They blamed my bank for holding the funds but never accepted responsibility for selling me something they didn't have, and wouldn't allow me to use those funds to pick up the item at another location. Purchased a Samsung Refrigerator/Freezer on 11/30/2019 with 5 year service guarantee. I was warned about the reliability of Samsung Refrig/Freezer from friends. Salesperson in Appliances assured us that the problems were in the past. Appliance freezer stopped freezing in Feb. 2020. Called service with Samsung, repair could not come for 7 days. Ruined all items in freezer. Repair was made late February, Freezer did not work when repair person left. Called service again, same repair company came 5 days later. SUPPOSEDLY replaced parts, left, still did not freeze. Called Samsung, they stated I needed one more repair. Repair person comes 4 days later. Repairman states that appliance was not repairable. Samsung to refund full purchased amount. I purchase an LG Refrigerator/Freezer to be delivered on 3/10/20. Lowes sends one driver to deliver new and remove unrepairable refrigerator. Delivery scheduled between 10:00 AM and 12:00 Noon. Driver calls at 12:00 and states he can't make delivery because he needs a helper. Now 3/15/20. No refrigerator, no frozen food and waiting for refund check. read more

My last two online orders were a good success. Was called or emailed when they were supposed to show up and items were on time. I even needed to purchase some other items while picking up my online order, and was able to check out in the customer service area with those too. An employee Robert near the tools is always friendly and helpful, and really helped out on getting me a nice superior brand name plumbing tool for commercial water spigots. As with the other review of the fences and gates.. Had a client order a Suncast Shed, got box 1 of 2 delivered to their house, with no 2 of 2 delivered. Delivery company said nope, both boxes are in the box there. Client had me come over, and as I'm opening the box I knew we needed another box. Client contacted Lowes and it was one big run around for about 2-3 weeks, then out of now where box 2 shows up in their store. Finally we got it delivered and I got back to work. read more

I would give them a zero if I could, The worst customer service and the most pathetically run store I have ever done business with. If you try to call there good luck. There phone system answers and gives you choices of what department you are looking for. No matter which one you chose no one answers and it brings you back to the same recording. This has happened to me over 20 times so it is not a fluke. Once you get lucky enough to get someone on the phone they NEVER follow through. The supposed managers tell you they will take care of the problem and get back to you and never do. I even had employees on the phone that agreed it was the worse run business they have ever worked for. They can't find ordered items, set up deliveries that never happen as scheduled and then trying to get credit for what they can't find is another nightmare. read more

This is a complaint about the lack of customer service I experienced. The phone service could not tell me how long an item was going to be on sale. So I went to the store and was not able to get any help in getting a flat cart. Customer service refused to help and told me to walk to the lumber department (which was the length of the store). In the Garden Department, 3 employees refused to help me with mulch (12 bags) and sand (50 lbs.). After purchasing the mulch (didn't get the sand because I couldn't lift it myself), I asked the register person in the Garden Department if I could have someone help me put the mulch into my vehicle. They said yes, but when I pulled up my car and waited over 10 minutes, I ended up loading it myself because no one showed up. BOO, HISS to Lowe's Customer Service. read more

This review is in regards to the carpet and installation. The guy who I dealt with in the flooring department was helpful. This was my first time buying carpeting so there we many steps to the process that I wasn't aware of. First, we paid a deposit for someone to come out and measure so they could give us a quote. Did that. Then the measuring guy called a couple days later to schedule. He came out and measured. He was super nice and was done when he said he would be which got me to work on time. He said he would send Lowes the info That night then they would call me with a quote. Two days later (Saturday) I called lowes and they said they hadn't received it yet and wouldn't get anything till Monday but he promised he would follow up for me. Monday I called and they had the quote. Went in and paid right away. He said I should get a call from the installers in a couple days which I did. They called and said they could come out the next day to install which was awesome! They guys came and worked right through lunch and got the carpet done. The installers did an excellent job and were super professional. Other than lack of communication between the contractors and Lowes, it was a great job. read more

This is by far the worse experience I have ever had at a LOWES. I ordered appliances. The delivered and it as at that time that the delivery person told me that 1 item was missing. Though they had on the paper all 4 were there. No one called to say it was not there. I called the store numerous times, no answer and no one knew what was going on. I eventually had to go there and create a scene for them to even look it up and see that it was on back order. The Store manager promise to call, but then when we spoke to someone on 9/5 they had no idea what is happening. Then I was to receive a call on 8/30 with an update. No call. I let go due to hurricane. I had to go to another store and have them call the Boynton Location to see that it will be in house on 9/6 and get a call on 9/6 will delivery date. No call. When you call the store, there is NEVER a manager available nor is there a STORE manager available. NO one seems to work here that can solve a problem. So I will be going there, almost an hour from my home to act a fool about 1 item due to lack of customer service. read more

Went in last week spent 30 minutes waiting for someone in plumbing. Finally got someone who couldn't find me in the system, even though I have spent thousands here, so he decided to set me up a new account. Special ordered a toilet, I was told it would take 7 days max, and all I would need to do is give my phone number, pick it up and pay. 7 days pass, no call, so I call in, they have no record of my order, so, 7 more days without a toilet, and they want me to start over. Apparently you need to pay up front for orders which I would have done, if the idiot had told me. Off to Home Depot now, will never spend another penny in lowes read more

I had a great experience with one of the flooring specialists named Lenny. He was more than personable, experienced and very knowledgeable about hardwood flooring. We went back several times to look at samples and being our indecisive selves ended up with the help of Lenny choosing a laminate floor design that we just love! I've experienced ugh better customer service at Lowe's (multiple locations) than other major hardware stores. I have no idea if Lowe's trains their employees differently or just hires some top notch people but I'll probably never go back to another hardware retailer again. Their prices are very competitive and all their staff welcomes and greets everyone all the time. Lowes may have ruined my near perfect credit. Last week I ordered about $4,000.00 worth of shutters from my windows that has to be custom built. I paid by check. A couple days later I got a notice from my local bank that I had insufficient funds and that I would be charged $35.00. Apparently, I paid Lowes with a check from my other checking by mistake. As soon as I found out I ran over to Lowes to give them a credit card to cover the check I accidentally wrote. They told me that they could not take the credit card or cash for that matter because they use a third party "bank" or "agency" to handle their financial affairs. So the bottom line is is that their agency will summit the check a couple of times more, thus causing me to pay more fees for the "bad" check. They said that they could not take cash or a credit card from me at this point. It must now go through COLLECTIONS and within a month COLLECTIONS will send me a letter demanding payment. Then I will have have a black mark on my credit. In fairness to the local Lowes, the manager and staff were sympathetic to my plight and friendly. IT IS CORPORATE LOWES that is at fault for creating this fiasco. So now Lowes will not get $4,000.00 because I cancelled the order today. BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE DEALINGS WITH LOWES FOR HIGH COST ITEMS. If you must deal with them ALWAYS use a credit card. read more

I will never patronize this store again. My sister and I went there recently when she discovered that the bar sink faucet in her kitchen island was broken. We were hoping we could replace the neck of the faucet only, or even better, the little plastic ring inside the fixture that caused the problem. It took us quite some time waiting for a store clerk to help us, as he spent an inordinate amount of time with a couple who were there before us, carrying on a detailed, chatty discussion about their home repair needs, alternative suggestions, specific comparisons of products, etc. When they were finished, we hoped he would be as helpful to us. Instead, he was dismissive (as if our inquiries and requests were asinine), insulting and sarcastic. He wasted no time in helping us search for the available product. He waved his hand in the general direction with a "They're over there." If he were my employee I would fire him on the spot for his unbelievably rude treatment of customers. read more

Getting our kitchen counter installed through Lowes Boynton Beach was a nightmare! That's because they are contracted with Stone Systems of Fort Lauderdale, a company that store staff told me later they had received numerous complaints about, and about which they have decided to do nothing. Stone Systems called me a week before the installation to schedule it, and I asked for a morning installation because my husband who would be at home had an important afternoon appointment. I also asked them to please use my husband's cell phone number in the future rather than mine, because I was at work. Instead they called me the morning the installation was scheduled to say they would be at least three hours late. This, it turned out was because they had not gotten around to cutting the stone. I asked again they call my husband, but they continued to call me at work throughout the day -- to ask directions to our house, and then, bizarrely, several times to ask how the installation had gone, even though each time I had told them I wasn't there, asked them to stop calling my number, and to call my husband. I called Lowes Boynton Beach to complain and was told they have received complaints from numerous customers who have dealt with Stone Systems. Oh my goodness! Worst scheduled installation set-up ever!! Thursday I was scheduled for an emergency installation for my water heater because my water heater was cracked and leaking throughout the garage. I waited 4 hours for them to come to the house and when they get there they have the WRONG SIZE water heater! They tell me they can return it to the store but they couldn't come back out the same day and the next day was not guaranteed. They made me do a full refund instead of an exchange. The store manager promised if I came back on Saturday morning that they would do another emergency install so I did. Saturday I'm then told that installation was booked and could not do it for me until Monday. CAN YOU IMAGINE MY GARAGE BY NOW?! Then someone turns around and tells me if I buy the water heater that day and take it home they could work with me; so I did. I come back and they tell me the same thing; no later than Monday. DID THEY THINK I WOULDN'T BUY IT?!?! So I scheduled it for Monday (now missing work for the 3rd time to handle this ordeal) and I didn't hear from anyone. I call Lowe's Monday morning and they tell me that I was not in the system for an installation. NOW I'M IRATE! They gave me the number to some third party plumber who then tells me that Lowe's never forwarded my information on Saturday. After a few irate exchange of words from me and threatening to leave bad reviews I was able to get someone to come out late this afternooon. BUT WAIT, IT'S NOT LATE IN THE AFTERNOON YET SO I MAY BE BACK TO LET YOU KNOW IF THEY FAILED ME AGAIN!!! Standby... read more

I would like to share the journey I had with the Boynton Beach Lowes store! On July 11, 2015 I met with kitchen designer Pia who helped me with the design of the new kitchen. On July 22nd the installer came and measured and then on August 20th the cabinets were delivered. I confirmed that all the cabinets were in and was assured that they were. On August 24th the installer came to do the installation and the corner cabinet had not been delivered! They opened the boxes and found that many of the cabinet components were damaged. Needless to say, I was very upset since I had flown from Maryland for this. This had a domino effect since I couldn't get the appliances and counter tops installed. It's been 10 months and the struggle finally ended. Unfortunately for Lowes I have nothing but negative words to express my feelings and I have been quite vocal about it! The kitchen is completed but the cabinets are substandard and I expected better for the amount of money spent! I am not going to list all the store employees that were absolutely unresponsive and unwilling to do their jobs; however, there was one stand out employee and that's Marco. The installers were no better - Daniel is the only stand up person for them! I can't recommend Lowes! read more
