It was like a one man show today. We had such great service from JOE!! He helped answer questions about items that were not clearly marked with prices on the shelves. He then had to assist someone with washers and dryers. That reminded me that I was still on the hunt for a cheap floor model dryer, preferably a Samsung that would match our washer. Our old dryer has served over 15 yrs. As I walked the main aisle, there it was, a Samsung dryer!! And, at a bargain price!! Instead of spending $600 or $700 as I thought, it was less than $400 with the MoistureSensor....in perfect condition. I know new models come out every year with new digital bells and whistles. But, who needs all that to dry clothes. We buy most our appliances as floor models and have never had any issues. They come with their original warranties. Lowe's is a great place to look for these items. It's great to know that there are still people who understand and practice great customer service!! I recently bought a bunch of new appliances online with Lowes and had an awful experience with this branch. After I made my purchase I called the 1-800 number to set up installation. They then referred me to the local store who would be taking the lead. I called up and connected with the delivery team who asked me to fill out installation forms. I told them that I needed to set up delivery for a date when I'd be in town. I was told that would be fine. However, before I could even download, sign and scan the documents, I got an email saying my appliances were scheduled for delivery the next day. I then called the store back and explained the issue. They told me to call their delivery arm XPO and cancel the delivery, which is what I did. I told XPO I wanted the 21st as my delivery day, which they said was OK. I then sent in all of my forms to Boynton Beach Lowes and asked them if the 21st was OK. Yes, I was told. Unfortunately, the very next day I received another email from XPO saying my order was scheduled for the 10th. At this point I was a bit annoyed with the hassle, so I called the Lowes national number and explained the situation to customer service. They were allegedly shocked that I had to go through all of these hoops to set up delivery. The rep told me a manager would call me the the following morning to iron everything out. I said OK, sounds good. Did they call? No. Did a manager sort everything out? No...Yich. With little choice, I called XPO yet again and told them to cancel the delivery date and to not set another date until they talked to Boynton Beach Lowes about coordinating the installation. I then called Boynton Lowes, explained the scheduling issue yet again and was assured that everything would be set for my preferred date. To their credit, they called me later that day and confirmed the date as the 21st. On the 20th I got an email from XPO saying the delivery was good to go for the 21st. I then got a text on the 21st saying the order was in the truck and out for delivery. Great. Finally, I got a call saying they'd be arriving within 15 minutes. Upon arrival, the delivery guys did a great job. Everything was brought into the kitchen quickly and all of the old stuff was taken out for disposal. However, after all of the back and forth with Lowes over the previous weeks, it became clear the delivery team didn't come prepared to install the appliances, which was obviously a huge disappointment. When I called Boynton Beach Lowes they told me that they tried to set it all up, but they didn't have my phone number, which is the stupidest excuse I've ever heard. My phone number is both on the order and was PRINTED BY THEM on the installation forms they asked me to sign. Disgusted with the entire process, I told them to forget it and immediately called my highly competent, but significantly more expensive, appliance guy to install everything. I originally went with Lowes because they were $50 cheaper than Best Buy, but it was totally not worth it. I'll definitely think twice about ordering from them again. read more

Our experience with this store couldn't be worse. Our washer dryer was sold to us with the wrong power cable, and was later cancelled due to our credit card company flagging the transaction as fraudulent. Unfortunately nobody from the store reached out to fix the situation, and they instead cancelled the order altogether. At that point, our installation day had to be moved back by 2 days. I am sitting here over a week later, having spent more than 3-4 hours of my life trying to fix the situation with the store.. and the product has still not been successfully installed. They are impossible to get ahold of, and overall our experience has been that the staff are rude and fairly unhelpful. The only reason I give 2 stars is because the manager, Jared, is fairly helpful when you can actually get ahold of him. We will not be taking our business back to Lowe's after our experience with this store. read more

Have never had an issue with Lowe's or its staff....ever. Today was a different story. Spoke with Tony in the appliance section. Super great info on washers and dryers. We were able to make a choice and he ensured that the items were in-stock. He gets two thumbs up. The issue occurred when we went to customer service to pay. When we went to customer service to arrange for payment, Jody called us to her register. Hands-down the rudest person I have ever had the displeasure to deal with at Lowe's. She was condescending and nasty to both my wife and I. There were issues in getting things paid for (almost $1,600) and her nasty attitude made what should have been a resonably easy experience horrible. When I attempted to pay for things with a credit card, the machine defaulted to debit. After two tries, her response was "You need to use a new card. It doesn't work", mind you that I just used the card. A call for a store manager brought Ray into the picture who could care less what was going on. Only that I needed to contact my bank. It doesn't matter that had they suggested a swipe the card, etc that may have worked. The staff at the customer service section is the most out of touch, nasty and entitled employees I have ever dealt with. Jody needs an attitude check, and Ray needs to figure out how to do a little service recovery. If they roll into the ER I work at, I will make sure to treat them vastly better than the way I was treated. I am about to cancel an order for a stove and microwave placed on July 4 from Lowe's. I took advantage of what I thought was a pretty good sale. I was told my delivery would not be until July 18th and I was fine with that. On the 17th I got a call that my delivery would be between 11 and 3 on the 18th. All good. Then I got a call on the 18th that my order wasn't even on the truck. I asked why then did I get that call about scheduling? No idea. Well, the guy was pleasant enough and I wasn't feeling particularly feisty and what's a few days, right? So, we settled on yesterday, 7/20 for delivery. He assured me it would be on the truck by then. You're supposed to get a call the night before, but on 7/20 at 9 AM I got a call that my delivery would come bet 1 and 5 (on the same day as this call). First I called Lowes Boynton Beach Customer Service they said it was too late to change my delivery as my item was already on the truck. I asked them if they could call dispatch or someone to help. Dispatch? They did not know what that was. Okay... I have no choice but to scramble and change the entire day's plans because my stove is coming! I stayed home and waited, and waited, and waited, and nothing was delivered. I called corporate who could tell I was "upset" and put me through to the manager of the Boynton store, who said he would call the warehouse this morning (7/21) and PROMISED to get back to me to let me know what was going on. HE DID NOT CALL and truthfully, it's no skin off his back if I cancel my order because he still gets paid. He did not call. I called Lowe's and was put on hold, or eternal, until they picked up and "transferred" me to the manager...ring...ring......ring...disconnect. THIS IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I purchased a refrigerator from Lowes with no issues and because I had a previous experience that worked out, my optimistic self said go there again! Well, nobody bothered to get back to me... the manager I spoke to yesterday did not know why I got a call for delivery as my order WAS NOT ON THE TRUCK, ON THE MANIFEST, NOR HAD IT LEFT THE MANUFACTURER YET. Recently, my dryer died and I was in need of a replacement. Also, since I was running out of clean clothes, I needed a replacement fairly quickly ;) It was Sunday so I wasn't too hopeful. I started by going to Home Depot's website and looking at the models they had available. I then called the store directly to find out when they could deliver. According to the representative at Home Depot, it would be about a week before they would be able to deliver a new dryer. Since this seemed like a long period of time, I called Lowe's in Boynton to see if they could do better. I was put through very quickly to the Lowe's appliance department. The gentleman there was extremely friendly. He discussed with me what models they had in stock in the store, delivery times, etc. Not only did they have the same model I was considering at Home Depot for $100 less (which included hauling away the old unit, new connections and installing and testing the new unit) but they could deliver on Tuesday (I had just missed the Monday date because their trucks were already full). I went ahead and set up the order and delivery over the phone. The gentleman said that the delivery could occur any time between 9 am and 5 pm on Tuesday but that I would be called Monday to set up a more specific delivery window. Unfortunately, no one from Lowe's called me on Monday to set up a time. Fortunately, I had already planned on being home all day Tuesday. I called the store Tuesday morning and was told my delivery would still be on Tuesday. The dryer was delivered around 4 pm. The delivery guys did a good job hauling away the old dryer and installing the new one. They did a test run to make sure everything was working properly. Overall, I was very satisfied with my purchase and the service I received from Lowe's. The only hiccup was not getting a call on Monday night. This is not the first time I have had a choice between Home Depot and Lowe's and so far each time Lowe's has been better. read more

Just spent 40 minutes in this Lowe's Woolbright & 95 waiting for someone to take me out back to get a privacy fence section 1 section soon as I got here there was an employee in building materials I asked him he said I have to go out back to get it and an employee has to be with me which is ridiculous He will be with me in a few minutes waited & found him 15 minutes later said he'd be with me in a minute told me he forgot about me & he would send someone right away sorry about that..Waited another almost 20 minutes then left the store. I ordered a new gas stove from Lowes.com - the website stated that the purchase included hookup/installation. I also paid $20 extra on this purchase to have my old stove hauled away. However, when the third-party delivery guys arrived at my house with the new stove, they said there were "no notes" on their delivery order that said they should haul away the old stove. I showed them my order confirmation with the $20 charge, and they were kind enough to take the old stove, but they said Lowes had failed to inform them of the haulaway when hiring them. Further, the third-party delivery service said they could not install the new stove and that I should contact Lowes to schedule an installation separately. I called the 1800 Lowes number and spoke to a customer service rep who assured me that she would begin a conference call with the Boynton Beach store, who apparently shipped my stove, in order to schedule an installation. However, the customer service rep then spoke to the Boynton Beach store manager and determined that the Boynton Beach Lowes does not actually install stoves. According to the customer service rep, this is apparently the only Lowes store she's ever heard of that does not provide installation services for gas stoves. A manager from the Lowes store in Boynton Beach followed up with me about an hour later and advised me to "tell the gas company to install it." Upon contacting the gas company, they of course stated that they do not do this. So I am unable to have my new stove installed, which is the reason I ordered from Lowes in the first place - the Lowes website stated it would be installed for free. I'll be returning this purchase and giving my business to a company that will actually install the new stove, rather than promising an installation that was never done. I needed help getting some pavers down from the shelf in the garden section. There was one employee working the cashier, so had to go to customer service. It did take a while to get someone to help, but I found out it's because I was shopping during a less-busy hour and understandably they were short staffed at the time. The guy that helped me was above and beyond nice and even put the pavers in my trunk for me. On 7/27/23 I bought a dishwasher at Store No. 1111. It was to be delivered and installed the following Tuesday (8/1). Then I was called and told Wednesday. Then the installer called me from the store and advised that there was no dishwasher there to be picked up. He told me that I have to take it up with the store. I spoke to the manager, Charles who indicated he would call me back. A few hours later I received a call back from his assistant, Tony who said that the dishwasher was in another store and that they would have it within 48 and would then contact the installer to have it installed. Now it is 8/7 and I have heard from no one. I called the store and was disconnected twice. I then called what I think is customer service at (800) 445-6337. My first two calls were again dropped. By the third conversation, the representative, Shalinda refused to put me on with a supervisor until I told her my whole story so I did and then I finally got a supervisor named...Karen. Karen was very helpful---NOT. She told me that it would be kicked back to the store and that someone would call me within 24 hours. After several days of waiting, I called the store back and was put on hold for an hour and ten minutes (I left my phone on speaker while I worked) before I hung up. This went on for about a month. Then, having never received my dishwasher, I filed a demand for arbitration. LOOK AT THE PAPERWORK YOU SIGN. YOU'RE AGREEING TO ARBITRATION. I BELIEVE THAT TO BE VERY DISADVANTAGEOUS. About 30 days after they got my demand for arbitration, they finally called me. Bottom line: 3 months later I got my dishwasher. They gave me about $300 refund for my trouble and I donated it because I'm not interested in a freebie. I just want the company or maybe this store (Store No. 1111) to get it right. In the meantime, I suggest you AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

Beware Lowe's new corporate managed installation program. Keller was assigned as the installer of our Lowe's-purchased tile installation for our bedroom and bathroom floor and trim. We paid over $4400 to Lowe's for material and labor in December of 2020 for 380 sq feet of tile. A small portion of this--30 sq feet- was a wainscoting on one bath wall, measured by Lowes and expected to be part of the job. Upon completion of the flooring portion in March (multiple screw ups by Lowe's Installed sales and Keller in ordering materials, providing credentials to condo and getting Town) Keller REFUSED to install the wall portion. "we don't do walls for Lowe's". An initial moonlighter from Keller offered to do the walk for an additional fee of $300-but backed out the night before he was to come and do the work. In the meantime, I had complained to Lowe's corporate and after hours on hold and repetitions of the tale I was offered a $150 Lowe's credit towards the $300 quote, which I accepted. It took a week to find another tile installer, who finally settled on a $600 fee for the tiny wall install, leaving me still $450 out of pocket beyond my initial $4400 fee. I was directed by Lowe's third party "Installed Sales" coordinator BACK TO THE STORE MANAGEMENT for resolution of any disputes. Today, April 3 I was called by the store and told that no adjustment would be forthcoming. Under their new system of managing third party installers, Lowe's corporate has abdicated all oversight to a third party management company, and they take No responsibility for customer satisfaction. Problems emanating from the absence of any real General Contractor are not going to be addressed, especially once Lowe's has your money, and any adjustments are going to be the subject of he-said/she-said finger pointing and any deserved price adjustments are going to be hard to come by. Lowe's needs to rethink this new installed sales system, as well as their new "Installation Made Easy (IME)" program for Major Projects, which is similarly plagued with lack of accountability once they have your money. Especially if you need multiple vendors, I would avoid Lowe's until they get the bugs out of their new system. They invested a lot in their website emphasizing their new bathroom install relationship with ReBath; I can tell you from bitter experience they haven't figured it out yet. read more

I asked for a code 50(she told me to just wait outside-that they don't call them). He has gone out of his way to help us not only for issues in his department, but for all our other Lowes purchases. When he did not have an answer, he put us in touch with the appropriate experts within the store who in turn have pointed us in the right direction.
