On my last visit to the garden center, the cashier associate, Elliott, noticed by walker was wet and dirtied by plants I had purchased. He went beyond and above and wiped down my walker. They do NOT even deserve 1 star. Waiting ~20 minutes for a pick up (with another 2 customers) Nobody there until I call a guy directly. (1) I was told to just wait there, someone will come to help. Nobody comes. (2) There is a "need assistance", but nobody even come to help. Just ridiculous. (3) There is a timer to show how long a customer waiting, but looks like doesn't even matter. (4) There are other employees looking multiple times , and clearly know customers are waiting, but just looking, no further action. Just incredible! As we walk through the store we were approached by Gary (Manger). I explained to him that I needed a kitchen faucet. He showed me the difference options I could choose from. They had a great selection. He answered all my questions. I showed him a picture of a certain type of faucet I was looking for. He introduced an associate Rudy to us. I even heard another employee say to her "back here again?!" On 06/21 my husband and I went into this retail location searching for a Samsung package deal...Refrigerator, gas range, dishwasher and over the range microwave. They have a large selection of brands available to see, touch and check out. We knew exactly the brand we wanted Samsung! We were not approached and asked if we needed any help. Okay fine no biggie I understand this is t a Car dealership with a bunch of sales associates running to assist! Alright after we checked the Samsung refrigerators we decided to look for a Sales associate...we were assisted by Rudy he was a nice man, used his handy dandy computer to help us place the order and was kind to show me the gas range and even pointed out it wasn't a convection oven. I appreciated the honesty there! So because Rudy was cool we give 2 stars otherwise if I could give a 0 I would. That wasn't a deal breaker because I prefer my air fryer over that!!! Rudy definitely was helpful and patient with us and even when his computer didn't cooperate with placing the order he did his best to assist and write down the order # and estimate pricing we should pay up front. He asked what day would we like it to be delivered we asked for Fri 6/23 because our contracts were going to help install the appliances for us! Fast forward Fri 6/23 the Lowe's delivery arrive but wait why was 3 out of 4 -appliances delivered? Why were we told by the company delivery courier the gas range was on a different pallet and will be delivered to us on Sat 6/24? Lowe's customer service who did you contact to inform a slight delay and update in our delivery? Management/ Leadership what process do you have in place to inform your consumers of the delays and orders? What system do you guys use? Have you considered upgrading your systems and software to allow your employees a better more efficient streamline system to assist your guests? Late post, but just remembering the treatment I experienced from a young employee still upsets me. I came into the store and found what I was looking for, but then saw other items I wanted to purchase. I was thinking, "I'm going to need a cart". So, I go towards the carts, and this employee starts yelling at me to put my item down. I told him that I was grabbing a cart which was INSIDE the store because I was going to purchase more items. He demanded I "PUT IT DOWN NOW!" in a threatening tone. This young kid speaking to to me, (like I, a 56 yr old making 6 figures back then, was going to steal something), was totally wrong. I've since sold my $1.2M home in Chino Hills (which was paid off). Message to Lowe's: This kid probably made your store lose potentially more in sales than his salary. read more

Horrible design room experience. I went in on Monday, Nicole greeted me and had me draw out the laundry room I wanted. I drew it out provided photos of 2 designs and asked her for a quote for each. She originally told me I could expect a email with the quote and design options by that afternoon. Today Friday, I reached out to her explaining I needed the quote to make a decision and move to place the order for the cabinets. She sent over a quote with HER design ideas for the laundry room ‍. Couple days ago 7/25/23 between 11:15-11:40am visited Lowe's in chino hill (Peyton street). Whenever I need home improvement projects or gardening supplies, I come here. It's clean well organized and quality equipment & supplies. Most of the time employees are very helpful but sometimes it's hard to get hold of someone. But today, I needed some supplies for my bathroom, like toilet, shower head and sink faucet for the plumber to come and install. There were many options, I didn't know which one to choose and had couple of questions. Luckily, one of the employees was passing by and I ask if I can get someone in the department. He said he might be able to help although he is not in the department, his name was (Matthew Weber). He helped me w/ the answer and ask other employees in department for guidance also. Looking for appliances for our new kitchen, and wanted to start fresh. After dealing with the "delayed" home delivery options at another big depot store (due to COVID, ostensibly), I learned that Lowe's sells ... and get this... ACTUALLY STOCKS! ... many of the appliances on their floor. After visiting the West Covina store to grab a fridge, we arrived to learn that the two reported on their website as being in stock had been purchased; however, the young lady working the department called around to other Lowe's stores, found our item in Chino Hills, and asked them to to hold it for us. Ask for Rudy, she said. It'll be great, she said... And it was. Rudy quickly helped us out, and even when I threw him the curveball of "let's add a stove to my order," he took great care of us. I paid for the purchase, parked out front, and Rudy and his associates brought my items and loaded them in my truck. Really nice guy, too. I was super excited when I got a response back asking to set up an interview. I scheduled the meeting for 1630 the following day and woke up to a text saying my interview was canceled with no phone call or explanation. Great experience from beginning to end. I was looking for and found my Bosch fridge at Lowe's. I went in and was greeted and helped almost immediately. The staff was knowledgeable and funny. I purchased the fridge and rec'd the delivery date I wanted. The delivery men called me the night before and gave me a two hour window. They also called and let me know when they were 20 min away. However, please be advised and check other reviews... ordering items that require delivery and/or installation will likely bring you problems with this store. I made a shed purchase in Nov 2021 that was delayed multiple times. By May 2022, I decided I had enough of their delays and excuses. Then store management had multiple reasons why they could not provide a prompt refund or return phone calls. It took nearly a full month to get a refund for an item that was never delivered. I have been to this Lowe's several times and I never had any trouble here. I usually go to Lowe's for plants and simple home improvement projects. Returns are always easy and they have lots of sales and items on clearance from time to time. I bought some flowers that I love on clearance here for only a few dollars and they are still growing strong despite me not really taking care of them. Another thing I really love about Lowe's is that they are pet friendly!! It even says on the door "service animal AND pet friendly". Pets, especially dogs are becoming more common and seen in more places. I am glad that I can take my dog here. It's quite an experience for him and so many things for him to smell. I also never had any trouble with workers and they have always been friendly to my dog and me. Would I come back here again? Of course I would. I love home improvement stores and it's close to my house and they allow me to take my best friend with me on every trip! read more

I asked one of the employees at the painting section and told him what happened then he helped me for about 20 minutes. He explained to me in detail how to fix the issue. The manager called me today. after we came to an agreement that the concrete brick that was mistakenly delivered onto my driveway would be removed without a forklift the manager said it could not be moved without a forklift. The forklift caused damage to my driveway cracking it in several places. When I purchased the items I was told it would be curbside deliver. But when it was delivered it was placed onto my driveway. The manager agreed to remove without the use of a forklift to prevent further damage. But, the morning of the delivery just one hour before I was called and told it would need to be a forklift. The manager was rude and showed no empathy to my situation. I was patience when talking to the managers on Saturday and Sunday but did not have any patience with this manager as he refused to allow me to talk and said I was interrupting him when I allowed him to speak for six straight minutes. I've got badly ripped off by Lowe's of Chino Hills by selling me over $1700 of wrong stuff. On 10/12/2020, I went to Lowe's to buy some steel 6ft. fencing panels and required posts to install a 100ft long fence on my property line. What I saw on the shelves were all 5ft panels. Salesman Mike Kasper said since 6ft panels were not a stock item he would have to special order them for me. He placed the order for 15 of 6ft. panels and 14 of 8ft. posts totaling $1745.39. Since it had to be a special order and shipped from out of state it was delivered on 11/2/2020. When I took it home I was shocked. None of them were steel panels instead, cheap Aluminum panels. One of the panels was even bent. Since I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning them and waiting for another month I decided to keep them and suffer the loss. I should have learned a lesson from last time when they messed up an order of window blinds I placed. Just like that, it was also a special order shipped from out of state.
