Upon arrival, I wasn't sure which aisle to go to. The guy at the paint desk told me where to go. A guide associate was nearby but I passed her and didn't see anyone at the keystone. She walked over to Mr. Michael that just finished helping another customer locate an item. Mr. Michael at the key making machine was warm and friendly. I enjoyed talking to him as he made my keys. He is a great asset to the company as I felt welcome being over 600 miles away from home. Guy at checkout was straight to the point and ask if I was paying with cash or card. Four dollars for each key is pricey then to need key identities for another $4. Two keys and key identifiers cost me $15. That's drive-thru food money. read more

She had it delivered to another Lowe's and then my order was canceled because "I didn't pick it up." I called customer service and was transfered 3 times. Then when I finally complained, calmly because it's not the customer service representative's fault that the sales associate messed up...I told her I was frustrated and will take my business to Home Depot from now on, she said she will not tolerate "abuse" over the phone. I usually come here for a quick in and out transactions. However today was unusual and I was actually discriminated against. I was looking at plants and since they bunch everything together I took my time searching. Upon leaving after my PURCHASE I caught eye with an employee who I assumed was talking to another employee, i found out his name is John ( gray hair older man in his late 50's, Caucasian Bolted out the exit right after me and RIPPED my bag open. I was confused as I just saw him talking to another employee just moments before he was right behind me. Not only did he target me but he wrongly accused me of taking merchandise. He didn't know how to handle to handle the situation and clearly needs training. I tried calling about the situation and they employees seem sympathetic but I know it was just them pretending to be concerned. There was no resolution on their part. I ordered a new grill, to be assembled, and paid $79 for delivery. This store delivered a rusted grill covered in pollen, and made me jump through hoops for a refund. I was told the delivery fee would be refunded, but it hasn't been. I spent an hour on the phone with Lowes corporate who won't make an exception. This store seems to be going downhill fast. Many items with the wrong prices. Website that shows items in stock when they are clearly not and finally quality of items is terrible. Recently bought an outlet that I can't imagine would be anything more than a fire hazard. The screws weren't threaded correctly and the metal was so weak it completely bent and twisted I.e. junk. Today went it to buy a faucet, website states 2 in stock, none in the aisle or anywhere to be found. Bought a chandelier mount. The shelf says 5.98, rings up as 8.18. Went back to the shelf and the item numbers are a complete mess, nothing corresponds to the items and my item wasn't anywhere to be found aside from fully stocked with the wrong price. Went to customer service and they mentioned 'inventory issues' but did honor the cheaper price. I'm certain this is a result of poor management, cost cutting in supply chain etc, but if Lowe's can do 2 of the most important things are store offers (stocking items and pricing them correctly), I see a grim future for the company. read more

Stay away from the employee/manager named Theodora. She is useless. No one called me all day about my delivery supposed to arrive between 12-4pm. I called the store several times that told me to call XPO who were no help and couldn't give me an estimate but guaranteed it would be delivered today. At 628pm the driver Noel said he was 10 minutes away (I was told I would get a 30min heads up). I told him my tenants were on the way home, they were less than 10min away. At 630 he calls me saying he's at the house, asking if he can deliver tomorrow because he has 6 more deliveries today. I tell him no because I was already driving there to make sure it was replaced and I live an hour away, the tenants would be there in a few minutes. 5 minutes after, my tenants tell me they arrived and saw the stairs in my house, went to the truck and claimed the fridge was damaged, which it was. They said I would have to have a new one delivered tomorrow. I find it hard to believe that all happened in a few minutes considering he was peer pressuring me to let him deliver another day. I'm not accusing the driver of damaging the fridge but he was certainly being dishonest. This was the only fridge in stock at the store and my tenants have not been able to keep their food cold for days now. The drivers did not call me at all to tell me about their delays. I had to call him back and could tell he was lying about the sequence of events. He was pressuring me to allow him to deliver it tomorrow when he arrived so he could get to the other orders and then in a matter of less than 10minutes claimed the product was damaged and left without consulting me. I called Lowes, spoke to someone who hung up on me, called back and spoke to Theodora who was no help. Couldn't tell me how to find my order, cancel, modify it or anything. Told me XPO is a third party and I have to reach out to them to get ANY info on my fridge. I paid LOWES to deliver and install my appliance not XPO. XPO is a subcontractor of Lowes and thus Lowes should have some control over the company they hire to deliver/install their items. Theodora claimed to be the manager and the only one in the store except she couldn't even give me some basic info. Worst experience ever, and I don't know what kind of person would hire someone who doesn't even introduce themselves when answering the phone. I had to ask her three times for her name or threatened to come to the store myself to find out. Drove an hour back to my house and still no email or follow up from Lowes to even tell me my delivery is delayed or if I want to reschedule. Even worse, as I was about to call XPO, they called me and a girl asked if the fridge was delivered. This is well after 7pm. I told her was not delivered and I wanted to file a complaint about the driver, she told me she had to look into where the driver/truck was and get in touch with her manager before speaking to me and getting my complaint. 8pm, still no call back from the girl so I call XPO. A guy answers and says the fridge is back with Lowes and I have to call them to find out when they can deliver a new one. I said that's fine but I'd still like to file a formal complaint about the driver who lied to me and didn't communicate at all. This guy says I have to talk to Lowes, I said no because the driver works for XPO so I'd like to talk to a manager who supervises the driver or similar. Still says no, cutting me off and being condescending. So I ask him "Sir what is your name?" for my records obviously. The guy hangs up on me! Been hung up on by 5 people that work for Lowes and XPO. Went there on a recent Saturday to get 10 bags of mulch before the garden section was open and first shopped in store. Now after 8 am and garden section should be open but still not open?? Had to wheel all the mulch into main store to service desk to have service clerk ring up order Now I get grief from her as she says "there's someone outside you can go there" which infuriated me because I was "here" now. Place an order online. Recieved an email that it was ready. I went to pick up the order AND THEY COULD NOT LOCATE IT & did not call back. I called again & was told it was on a high shelf & they would leave a message. I came again on another day to pick it up.....AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED! Then finally I was able to have someone pick it up & apparently my payment was declined. I never received & email saying it was declined & I was actually charged. Thats ALMOST $900 GONE & THEY CANT EXPLAIN OR ANSWER THE PHONE. I called the corporate office & they also saw the payment went through. Corporate also called & of course......no one picked up. I went to Lowes in Cranston ,on 5/28/22 an ordered a dishwasher, stove and refrigerator. The associate informed us that the dishwasher and refrigerator could be delivered on Tuesday 5/31/22 or we could wait till 6/1/22 and have it all delivered at once, great we will have everything delivered on 6/1/22. This did NOT happen the refrigerator and dishwasher was delivered....her it is 6/6/22 still no stove, finally delivered and they did not bring the hook ups with it and stated we will have to wait for the next delivery. I have been inconvenienced since 6/1/22 and unable to cook. NO ONE calls you back, not the manager nor the district manager....this is unacceptable customer service. The associates don't know squat about the merchandise nor customer service. And NO ONE has called us, this place is not worth the savings nor the drive....will shop small business' from now on....YOU SUCK! read more

So a couple of months ago I bought a Samsung dryer into my surprise it was delivered just a couple days later I was so impressed with the punctuality especially how things have been going. However when the delivery guys came to my house they destroyed two of my door frames and scraped up all the walls heading into my basement because one gentleman stayed out in the parking lot smoking listening to music and the other one never took the packaging off the dryer and forced it through the doorway had he unpacked the dryer and took care of all the packaging as he was supposed to he would not have destroyed my new door frames and cracked the front door frame the reason for my concern I've called Lowe's on four different occasions now and nothing has been resolved at all the last call I was informed this was the first time that a claim was even put in the notes I don't know what it takes to get the higher up to pay attention to this matter but maybe if I put enough reviews online somebody will actually have the decency to handle the situation read more

Coming here is always a very specific trip for me....I am a houseplant hoarder. I haven't come here for much else but am always very impressed with their selection. I can find uncommon plants (like a philodendron atom and philodendron micans) while other box stores tot the same usuals. I am a regular at this Lowe's because I know I can always find what I need. It is conveniently located off Route 10. Parking is never a problem. The store is not crowded or intimidating. The register lines always move fast and there are never more than 2 people in front of me. Compared to other Lowe's, they appear to be a little short of staff. i.e. I was looking for painting tools (pans, brushes, rollers, etc) and I probably had this hopeless, lost and confused look on my face because *drum roll*, it's my first time painting a wall so go figure what my bathroom walls will look like (you may laugh now but I'm sorry, husband). Anyway, I stood there for a good 15-20 minutes and no one offered to help. Being a total creeper, I stalked one of the staff for a good 3 aisles chase without being entirely rude because he kept getting distracted and occupied. When I finally got his attention, he patiently explained everything I needed and I was all set to go at the end. Anyway, my advice is: go there knowing exactly what you need. If you are very lucky, there might be an occasional greeting at the door "Welcome to Lowe's how can I help you today?" But if you really need help, be proactive and chase down the staff because they will not come to you. read more

The staff are so overly passionate about customer service and are willing to go above and beyond for anyone who walks in their store. The store is constantly changing, so be one the lookout for new product and displays every time you come back. And let me just set the record straight... They will not return just anything!!! I brought a Kitchen cabinet set from them online and had delivered to house . The sink base fell apart when taken from truck . I returned it to store for new one . Two of my cabinets never showed up , when I called to see why they say the cabinets are back ordered and gave me a delivery date for them . Stayed home on delivery date but Lowes never showed up. I call back to store they keep putting me on hold but never take my info to check product . After being on hold for 30 mins , I hang up and call back asked to speak to a manager . Wow surprise they put me on hold again and never answered the phone ,just left me there on hold yet again . I would say to anyone wanting to purchase a Kitchen Set , don't go here ! Tomorrow I will have to go direct to store after working all day and deal with this mess . At least they can't put me on endless hold if I'm standing in front of them ! read more

Went here to buy a washing machine. Long wait for the one person in that department who could take my money, despite numerous employees wandering around. Eventually was rung up by a clerk (Jose) who added a warranty to my bill, even though I told him I did not want one. Fortunately, I caught this when paying at the front register and had it removed. But I was very clear that I did not want an additional warranty and Jose added it anyway. The "next day" delivery window was closed and the day after that was already full. This from a company that promises next day delivery as long as you pay by 4 p.m. Three days later, the day the machine was to be delivered, we still had not heard from them. I called and was told that it was scheduled for the next day. I was told that I had scheduled it for that day and that there was no error or mistake. This was a complete lie. They don't schedule things by dates, they do them by day. We're all perfectly capable of distinguishing Saturday from Sunday. The jerk who I spoke with on the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional, despite the fact that Lowe's had screwed this up. So you have a company that is flat-out dishonest, from the time they try to add a $60 warranty on to your bill to them blaming the customer when they fail to deliver something on the day they promise. Needless to say, I'll take my future business elsewhere. I can guarantee you that Lowe's will be out of business within ten years. I am not impressed with this Lowe's at all. I generally come here several times a year since it is the closest home improvement store to my home. On a recent weekday, I went in to get some air conditioning filters, bug spray, trimmer spools and a sun hat. Surprisingly I found everything with little trouble. However, when I got to the checkouts the real problem began. I used the self checkout, and I encountered a problem because there was no price tag on the hat. The young lady monitoring the lines called for a price check, but there was no response after about 10 minutes. I was willing to go grab another hat that had a price tag, but I feel I shouldn't have had to when I was making a 50 dollar purchase. I much prefer going to the Lowe's on Greenwich Avenue or Quaker Lane than this one. read more

I never write reviews, positive or negative, but I feel like I have to warn others because of this experience. I ordered the dishwasher on black Friday and it came in a few days later. When the serviceman that I hired myself to avoid the $140 installation fee and $20 haul away fee came over to put it in, he noticed that mice, or chipmunks, or some other rodent had eaten away at the waste hose and insulation surrounding the machine. I did not have him open the entire box because I was afraid to know what else was in the box (I was also afraid that I now had a mice problem), so I really don't know the condition to the rest of the unit. When I called the Cranston Lowes to get a replacement, they wanted to charge me the $20 haul away fee to take the damaged, mice eaten washer out. That was when I knew that I was not going to be compensated in any way. I thought that at least they would offer free installation since I still had to pay the serviceman to come to my house even though he couldn't install the unit. After refusing to pay the haul away and asking to speak to the manager, they offered a $50 credit on the machine. The replacement was to be delivered between 12 - 4 on the following Friday (a few days later). At 10:55 on the morning of the delivery, I got a call from the driver (?) for X P O, the Lowes delivery company. The driver told me the dishwasher was on the way. I was at work and could not leave at that moment, so I asked the driver if he could come back later when I was home. He said that he could not do that, but could deliver the next day, a Saturday, so I would be home. When I did not get a call the next morning and became suspicious that something was wrong, I talked to a lady for XPO who told me that, "Oh, miss, that's not the way to do it. You should have called us to reschedule". Shouldn't the driver have told me that??? She told me I'd have to call the Cranston store to get everything straightened out. I then spent a good deal of time speaking to a rude woman in the delivery department in the Cranston store who told me that there were no more of the models of the dishwasher I ordered in the Cranston store, and I'd have to call North Attleboro to order another one. I don't know how the one that was on the truck the day before vanished. THAT was when I decided that I would never use Lowes for any of my home improvement needs EVER again. I returned the machine (she wanted me to pay the haul away fee, if you can believe it!) and bought a similar model at Best Buy. Terrible experience all around. Buyer beware read more

In store, the sales staff are lovely and helpful. We have even had some great exchanges with the management. We had a fence installed by them though and it was an absolute disaster. The contractor they used was a aggressive, rude, would randomly leave our job and not return or tell us he was leaving. At one point he refused to do the job as Lowes did not deliver all of the parts. He insulted us and called us liars. It is 3 months later and we are still waiting on parts and had to contact the BBB and Attorney General for assistance as their district manager has not called us and they are not living up to their warranty/satisfaction guarantee. They did refund us for the labor, yet have not completed the 2nd part to provide the missing fence parts and complete the repairs. They have now violated their own Service Level Agreement with us. After involving the higher ups, our fence was finally sorted out to our satisfaction. Update: Lowes has really improved and is very Customer Service focused. I am back to being a regular customer. The word is out that Lowes is the place to go with your dog! We do so much shopping here just because we can bring our dog with us in the cart. I think it makes the customers happy as well as the employees! read more

This has got to be the worst home improvement store on the East coast. Never before has anyone ever seen a congregation of lazy incompetence of this size. First, we needed help locating melamine board. The associate we asked looked at me as though I had just invented this product. Through the website we determined ourselves they do not carry it like Home Depot. We located a substitute for it and I asked for help having it cut. The gentlemen said he would get someone then walked down the neighboring aisle and came up the aisleI was waiting in, walked past me, and went outside. Mind you, this was not a quick "hey I'm helping" stride. Watching him walk with his underwear hanging out was akin to watching water boil. I believe he might have been asleep still, though that is unconfirmed. My wife then asked for help from a different gentleman. About 10 minutes passed before the speakers advised a customer needs assistance with lumber. Who comes to help? The same man who not only walked past me but then went outside. His demeanor clearly displaying his desire to work is only mildly greater than his desire to be castrated by a mouse trap. 20 minutes pass and we get almost everything we need. We go down the aisle with screws and such. My wife, pushing the.giant lumber cart, was unable to get down the aisle due to the giant ladder just hanging out in the middle of the aisle. There was a worker in Guldens mustard color pants who could not be bothered to get off her cellphone when my wife said "excuse me" 3 times. As she was waiting to be acknowledged, another gentleman approached the worker and asked her something in Spanish, to which she happily answered, but did not hang up the phone. We ended up leaving about $200 of items behind simple because of the horrific customer service experience. If you ever want to feel completely irrelevant, I would recommend shopping here....bonus points if you're a woman. I now understand why their prices are less than Home Depot's...you really do get what you pay for. read more

Disappointment after disappointment!! I bought a $3k Samsung refrigerator and it has been nothing but problems for months. First the Warwick location lost my order and sent me to another location in Cranston (garfield ave) and charged me for another refrigerator witch put a hold on my credit card. So after waiting for my new later delivery date it finally came in and while the delivery men opened it my freezer door was all smashed in. So Lowes in Cranston decided to send me a new face front for my freezer (witch never got shipped out I had to pick it up from the location). A week or so later I realized I am loosing all my food, so after investigating the situation, comes to find out they forgot to send me a gasket for my new freezer door. So not only did my credit card get frozen due to suspicious activity but I waited weeks for the new delivery date, the replacement door never got shipped with made me pick it up from the location and install it myself, then I lost all my food in my freezer and my fridge has been running non stop trying to keep it cold running up my electricity bill. This experience has been nothing but disastrous! Talk about down and out, I will be 100% taking my business else where!!! read more

I purchased paint on July 24th and the cashier told me to file for the rebate online. So I did that- and waited- only to get it rejected! I then got a notice in the mail that I did not meet the requirements- so I didnt get the rebate. So I called the number-- and I told him that the cashier told me that my purchase qualified...and told me to fill out the rebate information online. So I wasted my time- and didnt get the rebate. I say inform your cashiers better! You just lost my business--and we always shop at Lowe's. No more!! read more
