I love Lowe's, because you can find so many things for your diy's. I don't think there isn't anything that you need for home improvement that they wouldn't have it. You can best believe Lowe's got it. I didn't get to interact with any of the employees I saw them but no one was asking if you need help. Maybe I just looked like I knew what I was doing. That's it. It had to be that. But a few of them did smile at me. So that was cool. I will continue to go to Lowe's, it's one of my favorite places. Until next time

The horrible customer service department. Definitely trained not to help customers.

Lowe's is a terrible company, with horrible business practices, with terrible employees and an even worse return policy. Their selection of tools is trash which would tell you that they don't get good products because someone can't negotiate a deal with the big manufacturers. The value of the products is not good at all. Some items are extremely overpriced for what they are, even worse is that the employees don't know the return policy on certain items. My friend bought me a pressure washer from Lowe's for my birthday on June 13. When I went to go return it today for an upgraded model it told me I couldn't return it. I asked why and they said because it had been more than 48 hours even though the product was brand new in unopened. I asked where they listed this policy. They said on their website and in the Customer Service return section. How shady is that? Why were they not listed where the products are purchased or next to the product so people know the return period since everything else in the store is 90 days.. because they don't believe in their products and they don't want to offer a decent return period for people. Go onto Reddit and you can hear a horror stories about people purchasing items and then going to install them only to find that they're broken but they can't return them because they fall under this 48 hour return policy that Lowe's does not advertise or let their customers know before they buy and walk out the door. Don't do business with this horrible business, give your business to a local hardware store. Home Depot who has a killer return policy and employees who actually care about you. Go to Amazon at the very least. You'll have 30 days to do returns with them. Lowe's sucks. Especially Muj and his minions.

Couldn't find anyone to help me, was in the plumbing department for a good 15 minutes then called local number phone rings and rings, total time on call 8+ mins. disappointed. I can go to Home Depot and get this kind of service. That's where I will be heading to purchase a toilet and vanity.

Very poor customer service, waited 20 minutes to get my keys done, asked 10 times to get help, no one excited to help at this place, why you even open and have so much of staff walking around if don't want to do your job.

I had to look at the new Christmas decorations. They started putting them out the other day and it's only the beginning of October. I do a huge display for Xmas and I buy a lot of it from Lowes. Lowes has more decorations than other stores. Sears closed down and Home Depot selection doesn't match Lowes. They always have the best and newest Christmas decorations. That is why I have to come early and buy at retail instead of sales since all the new stuff will be gone by the time it goes on sale. They will probably have it all up by next week at the latest.

Their customer service is subpar. I purchased plywood and no one showed up to assist in cutting it for me.

We are so fortunate to have a local, non-"box" commercial hardware store near us…read more.. It is the last of its kind in Land Park and we try to support it anyway we can! The staff are personable and helpful and it carry's many smaller items (like unique screws, nuts and fasteners) in small or singular quantities so you don't have to buy a "lifetime supply" for one project like you would have to at a Lowes or Home Depot!

It's my hardware store. I've found the Goldilocks of hardware stores. JUST RIGHT. Pocket Ace- just,…read moreno. Emigh- across town, ghetto 'hood but not ghetto prices. East Sacramento- that closed, now it's a plant store. Who needs a hammer when you can have a succulent? Elk Grove: $$$, plus being asked if I need help multiple times is scary (five times in five minutes, rule of thumb). Newbert's: yes, this was the best but it's been closed for decades and is probably a cannabis dispensary now. Archie's: also closed. Don't get me started. Why: Selection: This store has pretty damn much anything you could need, with limits. Kitchen, hardware, tools, electrical, garden, paint, nuts, bolts, chemicals. It's not a warehouse, it's a STORE. So calm down if you don't have every option, you're going to get in the ballpark. This fall I found a great manure fork here (no I don't live in Iowa but it's a great garden tool and mine got "lost" in my last move). PS, the big orange didn't even have one. Price: I was pricing Weber bbqs this summer and the units here were 10% less than pocket ace or Elk Grove. That got my attention. I recently got a great shovel for $16.99 on sale. Yes, a sale. You will have a range of options and usually there is a cheap(Er) option than at other stores, and better made. Recently I was pricing shovels at Home Depot and their cheaply made unforged (but costly) shovels couldn't match the shovel I bought at Hollywood. Help: someone can help you if you ask but you can browse without feeling like you are being stalked. Oddities: my last time here while at check out a customer came in cradling a duck and said out loud "I have a duck that needs repair." No one was fazed. The duck, alas, was a decoy but quite convincing. Need I say more?

While browsing an automotive detail thread on Reddit, I came across a detailer who praised the use of a foam gun to quickly wash vehicles. I have seen in the past that some individuals use a pressure washer with a foam cannon attached; however, I have had a negative experience with a pressure, so I preferred to have a foam gun that could attach to a traditional water hose. After two failed attempts with foam guns on Amazon (both foam guns required a hard to find special water hose), I decided to do a traditional Google search. My search led me to Grant's Extreme Foaming Spray Gun, which was conveniently available at the Harbor Freight store in close proximity to my home. Based on the photos provided in the near-perfect reviews, I knew that this was the one! It happened to be Labor day weekend; therefore, there was a coupon deal for the foam gun. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by an employee as I made my way to the car detail section of the store (similar to some other stores, Harbor Freight includes the Aisle number online for each in-store product). Minutes later I was at home using my new "toy" to wash my car. As a tip use a foam wash (I included a photo of Meguiar's Ultimate Snow Foam Wash that I purchased at O'Reilly's) instead of a traditional car wash solution, you will see more foam while using less solution. Thank you EG Harbor Freight!

That was shocking to hear, considering helping customers load items is part of the job--and they have dollies and equipment for that exact reason. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming and depressing. Employees openly complained about their jobs and showed zero effort to help customers who were purchasing large items they sell every day. There was no teamwork, no initiative, and no customer service. Another employee questioned whether my vehicle was big enough. I drive a Chevy Tahoe--it absolutely fits two carports. Instead of speculating, someone could have easily come outside to check or switched positions so a more capable employee could assist. If an employee has an injury or physical limitation, that should be communicated professionally and handled by management. Simply refusing to help without explanation is unacceptable. I manage people myself, and I would never allow an employee with that attitude to interact with customers. I live with multiple sclerosis and deal with daily pain, yet I still show up and do my job with professionalism. Effort and attitude matter. Because no one was willing to help load the carports--or seemed interested in completing the sale--I had to drive all the way home and send my husband back to get them. He was also frustrated by the service. While he was loading the items himself, the same employee told him to move the car while she remained seated at the register. If staff aren't going to assist with loading, they shouldn't be dictating how customers manage it. This was by far the worst service I've ever experienced at Harbor Freight. Lazy attitudes, poor management, and no accountability. Extremely disappointing. The main employee that was not trying to even help me was white, super short hair and light colored eyes. Earrings were dangling. Her color doesn't matter because I'm white too so don't come at me yall. Just mentioning this so yall can avoid her boo whoo self. I'll call and get a name later and update but damn harbor freight. Fire her asap.
