I see all of the bad reviews and I have only had good experiences. In fact, I avoid H.D. whenever I can. We have purchased and custom ordered a few thigs, and yes they make mistakes, but went out of their way to correct them. They delivered and adjusted custom ordered patio screen shades 3 times until they were right. No argument. I had a problem with a very large and heavy garage cabinet that was made incorrectly by the manufacturer and they picked it up and brought a new one which they in turn assembled for free. I bought kitchen cabinets from Lowes Kraft maid cabinet. My order was over $18,000 I received order with 1 missing cabinet, I am being told 3 weeks for their mistake to put this cabinet in production. This will not allow us to have a kitchen for another 3 weeks along with the 2 weeks we have lost. This is costing us a fortune eating out along with the inconvenience no stove no water. If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I'm expecting a delivery tomorrow, and I called today because I needed to ask a question. I called at an inconvenient time, and the person who answered said, "This is Michelle, customer service." She didn't even let me speak; she transferred my call to the delivery department. After waiting for more than 20 minutes with no one answering, I hung up! I called again, and this time Michelle answered the phone again. This time she didn't said hello to me or say her name, so I don't sure her name was actually Michelle. Then she put me on hold for more than 40 minutes. They don't even want to help you over the phone. She put me on hold so I would get tired and hang up and not call back. I hung up, and when I called again, another woman from customer service answered. This time she pretended she couldn't hear me, and I told her, "You can hear me perfectly, just like I can hear you perfectly. I just want to tell you that the store where you work is terrible and the customer service is awful and terrible!" I considered canceling my purchase, but I decided against it. What I'm going to throw in the trash is my Lowe's card, and then I'm going to call the bank to cancel it after I pay for my purchase. I ordered some fence pickets and 2x4 s, screws they wanted 39.00 to deliver. Which I am glad to pay but I look at the order confirmation and it said they will deliver the pickets but I had to pickup the 2x4s and screws. After 15 minutes on hold and 20 minutes of NO help from customer service they said they couldn't get the other items delivered. How stupid do you have to be?????? Now since this review!!! After being a customer for years 5 years ago they closed my account for non payment. This was when they were forcing everyone to go paperless. I recently made a HORRIBLE decision to purchase Kitchen Cabinets from Lowes, and have them installed by Lowes as well. PLEASE, do NOT do this! I was told the entire job should be doe shortly after Christmas. I have a houseful of cabinets and the job MIGHT be done by the end of January but I'm not holding my breath. Every employee I've talked to has lied about dates and time frames in an effort to shut me up. I say LIED because it's happened too many ties to be a mistake. My latest call was to the store in an effort to talk to a Manager, and I was admittedly ticked off. I apologized to the young lady who answered her name was Natasha, telling her I knew none of this was her fault and was a corporate issue. She said to me, "This is nothing to me". WOW!!!! I bought a new washing machine from Lowe's. It was delivered, but not leveled correctly, as it started to spin it danced across my laundry room. I am now stuck with a load of sopping, wet laundry in my machine. I called the next day to get service in a timely manner which they could not offer I spoke to five different people, going on up the Customer Service ladder. They all just looked at their computer screens and offered me the same options. No one actually tried to help me solve my issue. Lowe's Home Improvement in Fort Myers FL is the worst!!! Jan 17th my parents and I went to the Fort Myers FL Lowes to get a dishwasher. But when we got home we realized it was the wrong size. So we called and canceled the order and got the right size. It was delivered by FedEX on Sunday 1/27, but when we cut off the plastic, it did not come in a box, we discovered that it was destroyed. Pieces of plastic all over the floor. So of course I called Lowes and told them and they told me to call the manufacturer. When I protested because I purchased it from Lowes not from the manufacturer they told me to bring it to the store. At the time I thought we had paid for delivery and it was broken so I asked for it to be picked up. After being put on hold over and over and hung up and waiting for over 50minutes, finally they said they would pick it up on Friday, which was 5 days away. Then I asked if they would be delivering another one, they said I could order another one but I would have to pay for it too. They already had my money for the first one. So I said NO of course they would not get an extra payment from us. After being on hold for another half hour I spoke a manager who told me that the new dishwasher would be delivered on Feb 5th.. Guess what happened.. .NO dishwasher.. NO call.. NOTHING!! When I called LOWES they told me that the delivery department was closed. I asked to speak with that mgr and after being on hold for 15m they told me that the MGR Luke told them to take a message. I asked when they would call me back they said either Luke or Erin would call me back in 5 minutes. I told they I would love to hear from them in 30m. I was thinking that was going to give them enough time.. It was hours before anyone called me and that was because I called corporate to complain. Mgr Erin told me that it would be delivered on Feb 17th. She told me she would give me a discount of $100.00 too... Well yesterday was Feb 17th and you will never guess what happened. I called early afternoon to find out when the dishwasher would be delivered. The associate told me that it would be delivered between 8am to 8pm. But NO DISHWASHER came!!!! So I called back after 8pm and after being put on hold for 20minutes I spoke with Mgr Jim and was told there was no dishwasher scheduled to come. WHAT??? He then told me Erin would call me today.. OF course I didn't wait for that to happen.. I wasn't going to hold my breath. I started calling this morning. First I called the store and they just kept me on hold for 15minutes so I hung up and called corporate and they put in a complaint but transferred me to the store. I spoke with an associate that told me the dishwasher was not scheduled to be delivered and they didn't order one. Finically they told me there was a neg 1 in the system so they must have ordered one. Then Mgr Tracy told me that they had not even ordered me a dishwasher until Feb 5th! WHAT?? That was the day it was to be delivered. Then Tracy said it was not delivered to the store yet. They expect it to be delivered today.. TO THE STORE not to me... Are you kidding me now? I bet I don't get my discount either. Lowes has the worst customer service.. The worst sales people... The worst management. Lord knows when I will get my dishwasher!!! I wish I could give minus stars for this store and I'm kicking myself for not going to the other home improvement store. We bought a fridge online and signed up for a Lowe's card so we could get 5% off. They called and set up a delivery time then said they'd be calling to confirm the day before, which they didn't. My husband called the store Sat. morning to confirm and was met with a very rude woman who seemed annoyed that he was bothering her. Two guys showed up to take our old fridge and install the new one and I can only describe it as a tornado entering our kitchen! They broke the switchplate cover, ok no big deal, then they broke parts in our old fridge removing it, then the finale was one of the guys snapping the water line valve off. Water was dripping under our sink and by this time my husband just wanted them out. They left and one came back knocking on our door asking if he could have a bottle of water! Hey, why not...you just busted our water line so help yourself to one of the 3 bottles of water we have! Anyway, an emergency plumber came out and fixed our water line and I noticed our fridge had no toe plate. I thought maybe they'd set it down somewhere but nope, nowhere to be found. I called Lowe's numerous times, the operator would transfer me to appliances but nobody picked up. I've emailed everyone I possibly can to try and get a toe plate sent to us, I've even reached out to them on Instagram. I got an email saying the store manager would be contacting us but...crickets. I did an online chat but that just gives me the customer service number which is an endless stream of "press 1 for..." , never getting me to the right area or a real person. I was also informed in the online chat that I had 3 days from delivery to report missing or damaged parts...I've been trying to!!! I paid our Lowe's card off and will be cutting it up once the hard copy arrives and closing the accounts. She helped us to efficiently replace all of our appliances, with many obstacles, including depleted inventory, selection, changes, etc. She was professional and friendly every time we contacted her, which was a lot of times. We were purchasing some tools that were on clearance. When the cashier rang them up the total was incorrect. When I told him that the amount was incorrect he argued with me and said it was right. I was trying to explain that they were on clearance, rather then doing a price check he told me I was raising my voice at him ( I didn't). He told me that he didn't have to wait on me and cancelled the sale. I guess he didn't want to do his job and trust that I was right. I am a teacher who went to this lowes to get panel board to have it cut to use as whiteboards in my classroom. I was given the run around in the different departments because no one knew what I was talking about even when I gave several different names for the product (panel board and shower board). I even tried to describe what I was looking for and what I planned to use it for. When I finally found the product myself I asked if they would cut it in 12x12 inch sections and I was told they wouldn't cut it. That they would only cut it to fit in my car. I have read other posts by teachers who have had no trouble getting it done at other lowes locations. I am very disappointed in the service I received at this location and I will not be returning. I am at another lowes location which has been much more helpful and is willing to cut the shower board in the size I needed. read more

I've tried on many occasions to give this place business. I wind up kicking myself everytime. This place is the worst. Avoid the headache and just go to Home Depot. They make up"rules" as they go along. This morning, I tried 1 last time after 6 months to give them business and it bit me in my ass, again! I presented them with a competitor's coupon and they refused it. All the other Lowes takes them except this place. I told them to keep everything and went to Home Depot, who gladly accepted the coupon. The Home Depot is just 2 miles past this shithole of a store. They deserve minus stars! We purchased custom window treatments for our entire new home in August, 2021. As of 11/18/21 the installation is still not complete because they never follow up on the order to get missing parts from the original order. The store we purchased from in Naples NEVER answers their phone, so they are of NO help. The installation customer service department is HORRIBLE. They never try to resolve this installation issue, they NEVER call the customer back with a follow up call, and you get bounced around between multiple agents, repeating your issues over and over. The company Lowes sub contracts out for window treatments is TERRIBLE!!! They cancel appointments, lose parts, never return calls, and don't complete the installation. I would avoid Lowes for window treatments because its been an awful experience and 4 months in we still don't have any idea when our installation will be complete!! Horrible service !! read more

I purchased a screen door with installation from Lowes at Six Mile Cypress and Colonial in Fort Myers, FL. The installation was done very poorly and the end result is that it is nearly impossible to close the door. The bottom gasket tore away within a few days. The door is too tall and slightly to wide for the installation. The bottom line is that Lowes management is refusing to honor their warranty. The installer rushed the installation and wasn't at all interested in my opinion. They were happy to take my money but have no intention of standing behind their warranty. i had purchased 1200 dollars worth of tiles on Saturday. Confirmed everything for pick up tomorrow at 9:00am. I arrived, checked in customer service. Waited 1.5 hours, before the person checked me in informed me thT they couldn't find the second pallet and told me to go home because they didn't want me to wait. I left and at about 1pm, instead coming into to find out if they found it, I called in. First time I waited about 20-25 minutes before they hung up. Called back again, got customer service and explained to them that I was looking to get and update,provided them with my information. customer service put me on hold and after 10-15 minutes of being on hold it hung up. Called the third time, got customer service again, explained to them and provided information again. The person then told me they were going to get the lead staff/cashier, put me on hold again For about 5 minutes. I thought someone got on cause I started to hear a guy started to talk, next thing, phone hung up. i went back to Lowe's and cancelled my order. I was frustrated and attempted to explain to the woman taking care of me, so my tone was frustrated, but then she stated that my language was not acceptable. The thought I was swearing. Do not purchase from this store. We bought a 4 pc set of outdoor furniture on July 3rd. The girl at check out had no idea how to ring up the sale, with the delivery. She asked for help, at no time did anyone mention anything about assembly, as a matter of fact, the paper for the furniture indicated fully assembled price. Delivery we were told would be between 8-10 am on July 4th. Great. NOPE, called to confirm delivery on the 4th and was told that it would be between 9am and 1:00 pm. Mad but ok. Finally delivered and two delivery drivers drop off a gigantic box put it on back porch by pool said there it is and went out we thought they went to get tools or something. NOPE, just left us with a huge box unassembled couch, two rockers and a table. When called store to they didn't offer to have someone come out that day or come back, NOPE they wanted to come back day after. Said they would reimburse if we could get someone else to assemble it for us. I will NEVER shop at this place EVER. Just moving the box out of the way took two people. We are an older couple. We would have gladly paid extra if we had even been told that it was not assembled. According to manager it should have been assembled. read more

Stay away from this store. I tried to have a dishwasher purchased and installed by this location. There was rudeness and complete lack of follow through on every piece of this. I went in on 12/19 and paid for the dishwasher. Told the installer would contact me within 24-48 hours. On 12/22, I went back to the store because no contact from installer, sorry, they cannot help because installation only works monday -friday 8-4. On 12/24, spoke to installation and well they do not know but they will send it back to installer, stating I am leaving town on 1/5 On 12/31, lo and behold, I finally hear from installer. Morning of 1/5 scheduled as I AM LEAVING . On 1/4, well, sorry, they cannot do morning but they will be there between 2-6. Uhhh, no, as I have told them for over 2 weeks, I am leaving town. Text 3 hours later that they "reworked" the planned install to be between 11-2. Installer shows up and says it won't fit, even though the Lowe's website says it does and he will not even try. Too busy. Too busy to take back to the store. Store too busy to handle the refund. Person I am dealing with in appliances leaves with no follow through or communication from store.
