Beware before buying any appliances from Lowes. They have a 48 hour guarantee only. I bought a dishwasher and found a lot of water inside and a warped front panel. I called the store and they said bring it in and we'll exchange it. When I got to the store the cashier started the exchange process but then told me that the manager had to sign off first. A scruffy guy covered with tattoos showed up and identified himself as the manager of the store and said they could not help me because of the 48 hour rule. The manager could clearly see the problems with the unit and he indicated that was not his problem. I had to load it back into my truck and bring it home. I now have to call the manufacturer for warranty service and we all know how that will go. read more

Went to the store for two storage containers waited for them to restock them. Waited in line just to be told to go to consumer service. Than they tell me they can not price match when that was the whole reason I was getting them there. I called ahead of time to refrain for going to stores with this whole virus ordeal. I am going to be honest....at first, I did not like Lowes. We are military and whenever we requested our discount at checkout, there was an issue and it was never applied. We ended up being loyal to HomeDepot. HOWEVER, when Costco delivered a damaged Samsung washer and drier to our house after waiting 3 weeks for delivery, we had to buy a new set. HomeDepot could not deliver for 3 weeks. But LOWES? They delivered an online order IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS!!! It was literally here in 16 hours from the time I placed the order. Bought an electric fireplace console online late March. Package arrived on time and we put it together. Fireplace makes a loud clicking sound while running. It turns on all by itself sometimes which is a fire hazard. Called the company that makes the fireplace and they won't replace it. They will only send parts. How the heck do I know what parts I need. Did all the troubleshooting and it still clicks and turns in by itself. Company told me to call Lowe's. I called Lowe's (one and half hours on hold before before I got a live person) and they said well bring it back to store and we will refund you. I bought it online because I don't have a truck. I have no way to bring the fireplace back. I asked them to send me a replacement and gave this one picked up. No. I'm left with no options but a fire hazard electric fireplace. I purchased a planter pot and when I got home realized it was cracked. Took it back for an exchange and the last one they had in stock was also cracked. Asked the customer service associate if she would at least be willing to offer a discount to accept the cracked pot because I had already drove a 1/2 hour for the purchase and another 1/2 hour for the return. She told me she could authorize 10% which was a little over 6.00 dollars and I said I would accept 15%. she said that she would have to contact her manager (Rebecca) she wasn't willing to go an additional 5%. Were talking about $3.00 to satisfy a customer and make a sale. It wasn't about the money but more the point what I felt was fair from a consumer. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with Lowe's and Alfredo, the manager. I purchased two refrigerators two Saturdays ago. I was told delivery would be "Monday". My husband took off work to wait for the delivery. Nothing. I was told that delivery was scheduled for Monday, but the following Monday. My husband took a second day off of work. On the second Monday delivery date, I received a call at noon indicating that an associate had entered my order in "an old system" and that they had to reorder. They promised delivery for the following day, Tuesday. I spoke to Erica who was incredibly nice, expressed her apologies, and assured me we would receive delivery on Tuesday. I received an auto call from their 3rd party delivery service on Monday evening at 6:30. Delivery was set for 3-7. I left work on Tuesday, today, several hours early to receive the delivery. At 7:30, no delivery. I called Lowes. I spoke to Mark who was quite nice, but he let me know he couldn't help me because my order had been cancelled. He suggested I speak to a manger. Alfredo came on the line. He proceeded to tell me the same thing - that my order was cancelled. At no time did he offer an apology or even seem concerned. When I asked probing questions, he simply said, "Well, that's what the system says." After my insistence, he agreed to look into it and call me back. He did. He then explained that my order wasn't cancelled and that someone at the distribution center entered a note that the delivery date had been changed per my request. Impossible. I wouldn't even know how to reach the distribution center. Aside from me waiting for that new delivery date far into the future, he offered nothing. I commented on his lack of concern or willingness to look into other options. He said that was my "perception" and beyond his control. With no resolution, I will be contacting the general manager tomorrow, but as of now, I have paid 4,000.00 and have no refrigerator. read more

Ordered a Morningstar table online from Lowes. Delivery date was 13 Dec. As of today (27 Dec) the order was still in progress. I called the Lowes helpline and they contacted the distributor. Morningstar was unable to tell the Lowes employee why the order hadn't been processed yet. Lowes was no help either as they said it was out of their hands because they used a distributor. The guy talked to his manager to see if there was anything they could do for me. They offered me the same discount as I already receive being a Vet. Upon reading the coupon, it cannot be used in conjunction with my military discount. Over an hour and a half (see pic) on the phone with them only to cancel my order and receive nothing but a crap experience on my part. So very disappointed with the customer service at this store. We ordered custom security doors on 4/6/21 and they still have not been installed. The company they sent out to measure made a mistake and when the installer showed up with the doors, he was unable to install them. That was on 6/7/21. They needed to order another part, and nearly a month later we still have not heard form the installer to re-schedule. We were required to pay 100% up front and are extremely frustrated that the manager we spoke with had nothing but excuses to give us about the delay. She absolutely refused to reimburse us for anything. We now have to take another half day off work for the new installation date (whenever that might be). We will never use Lowe's for special orders or installation of anything again and do not recommend them. read more

I was in the Goodyear store today to purchase some paint. Went in picked up my gallon and went to the counter and waited for the rep to come to the counter as he was gabbing with other employees, the person, I believe his name is Benny came over shortly after and I asked him to throw the gallon in the shaker for me as I know this type of paint has a separation issue and its recommended to have the store shake it up for you, and he gave me a strange look but said ok. I asked if they had something else I was looking for and he stated that it was right by the counter on one of the isles, so I went over, and they did not have what I was looking for. I was not away from that counter for even two minutes, the five-gallon tub that was in the shaker when I first walked up was still in the shaker when I came back to the counter and it finished shaking as I walked up, my paint was on the counter already. I asked him if he was going to shake it and he said it was done. Blatant lie. I know how long they go in the shaker for. He looked me dead in the eye and lied to me. On 6/11/22 between 10-11 am I went to the Goodyear, AZ Lowes looking for wicker patio furniture. My husband and I saw a set of 2 chairs we liked that was actually part of a set with a loveseat and table. We asked a sales person, did not get his name, if we could just buy the chairs. He told us no until we pointed out that the sign near the set did give pricing for just the chairs. He agreed and looked to see if they had any in stock. No. Any nearby at other stores? No. So if they didn't have any in back and no one nearby did, could we just buy the floor model? No, can't do that. Why? People need to be able to see these. Why, you and no Lowes nearby had them? Can't do that. I'm baffled. Not more than 2 minutes after the same sales person was pulling an umbrella from the floor to give to a woman to buy. Wait, what? I asked why he could do that and not sell me the chairs I wanted? He literally mumbled something I couldn't hear. I offered to buy the whole set of patio furniture which was $1500! No. So, I found an almost identical set at Walmart for much cheaper and Lowes lost $1500. And though my little bit of money might not mean much, I do own a home and could have spent much more there eventually. As a result of this, I'm never shopping at Lowes again. Sad. read more

Employees are lacking in customer service skills. Employees don't have a friendly attitude and when you ask for help they become irritated and frustrated because you asked them to do their job. The Cashier was a little bit friendlier and at least asked if I found everything that I needed. Stopped at Lowe's looking for three common parts to install my reverse osmosis system. I needed some 1/4" tubing quick disconnect adapters. I asked one employee and he took me to the outdoor sprinkler section. I told him, I'm not looking for sprinkler parts, it is for a reverse osmosis system. He then said "do we carry reverse osmosis systems?" to which I responded "I'm sure you do but that is irrelevant because I'm not looking for a reverse osmosis system, I'm looking for quick disconnect adapters for 1/4" tubing". He then started following behind me as I went searching for the parts. I found where they were located but of course they were not in stock and the hooks were empty. This is why online shopping is winning out. Ended up ordering from amazon.com and they will be here in two days. read more

If I could give no stars, I would. This place's customer service has failed me miserably twice in a row. We used them to get our supplies to put pavers in our yard. When we got to Lowe's and asked for help figuring out how many pavers we would need including supplies, they gave us a worksheet and basically said good luck. It took having our wonderful yard guys coming in and talking to a manager to get them to finally help us. We wound up having way less pavers and supplies than we needed, so we probably should've just done it ourselves to begin with. Second time... I ordered an 8 foot ladder online and came to pick it up. I was worried I wouldn't have room in my car and asked if it didn't fit if I could have them hold it for an extra day so I could get a truck to use. They told me that was fine and then sent me on my way. No offer to help me load it, nothing. I even had random people in the parking lot help me because Lowe's couldn't give me any assistance. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT have Lowes do ANY installation. I went with Lowes because of their reputation. What a mistake that was. They farmed out the installation to a low grade contractor and when that contractor made a MAJOR mistake, Lowes did nothing but push me off to deal with their contractor's insurance company.Lowes took NO responsibility at all. They talk about trusting them with taking care of the customers needs and how they will do the right thing. Well, guess what, it is all false, a deception, could not be further from the truth, they suck you in and then when a mistake is made they absolve themselves of any blame or responsibility. They give it to their legal department, who are as vacant as a Detroit apartment building, they more of less tell you to go away and deal with someone else and you are left on your own to deal with the representative of Lowes who caused the damage. Lowes is such a joke. In order to get your military discount the corporate headquarters has to verify your military or veteran status so I was denied my discount. It would have been nice cause I spent some money there too. I also looked for a water hose and was miss directed twice.
